Hotel Joyce

Suitable for family, good room maintenance, ac working good, nearly stores, railway station also walkable distance, peace full environment great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of Hotel Joyce. Everything about the Hotel Joyce was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

It was the second time i stayed at this Hotel Joyce. The single bed room was too small. It was in fourth floor and the lift service was upto the third floor. And i think i was the single person on fourth floor on that day, and it was a little bit scary to stay at night, alone on that floor. But i really liked the behaviour of the bengali boy at reception. He was too much good in hospitality. Anyway, the stay was average for me.

Location is very good in respect of station, market, convenience, availability of transport system etc etc. Local food is cheap and hygienic. There are good restaurants in the locality. Hygiene in the Hotel Joyce is almost good. But regular cleaning of room and toilet is needed in case of long stay. Staff are very good. Presence of large no of mosquitoes is a problem. Safety is overall very good.

The stay was good. The only complaint i had was. We weren't informed about the charges for early entry or checkout. So we assumed there isn't any charge, but when we checked out, they charged an extra day because it was past 24houra from our check-in. But this could've been avoided if there was proper communication. Overall, they were understanding and was a good stay.

Nice place to stay near egmore and central railway station. Dont expect star Hotel Joyce facilities but normal accomodation. Sometimes lift won't work. If your room is 3rd floor it is hard to take stairs. They don't provide soap or shampoo. I took single room which costs around 800 including taxes. Which is high for that room but ok at peak time. Overall it is good.

First of the behaviour of the Hotel Joyce stuffs are very good. I stayed at night only. Hotel rooms are not only clean, but are wel maintained too. It is around 1 km from chennai central railway station, and around 600 m from chennai egmore railway station. Situated at the heart of the city.

Positive points: 1. Hotel is at walking distance from chennai central railway station/suburban railway/metro railway 2. Room tariff is less. 3. Hotel has lift facility. 4. Hotel has wifi facility. Negative point: the room is small and so is the rest room.

Cleanliness is very nice, staffs behaviour is also very friendly, reasonable price, overall everything is value stay. Amenities like ac tv geysure, tap water bed and pillows almirah fans light all are very nice. Friendly stay in one word.

Property location is near to ever-est bus stop, room is very clean, food services is excellent and everything is fine to stay

Non ac room are bit older but otherwise good value for money
