Lack of basic facilities

Name of property was not displayed prominently and it was deliberately kept hidden which caused inconvenience in locating. No dining, lunch or breakfast facility was available. Even fitered drinking water was not available and they provided bottled water and charged money for that. At least drinking water be provided free of cost.

Location of this property is just truly awesome . It is located right on the bank of Dal and offers all the necessary amenities required for a stay in a homely atmosphere. The room which I booked was spacious and airy one with a great view of the Dal practically from everywhere. The Airconditioner, wifi , electric kettle, electric blanket worked perfectly leaving no room for any complain. Finally, the host Mr. Hossain is a very humble person with a smiling face and looked after everything personally. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone looking for a hotel at Srinagar with a view of the Dal in affordable prices. Overall it's been a value for money for me.

Bedroom 3 Excellent and budget friendly with awesome view of Dal lake

Excellent stay. We stayed for five nights from 22nd March to 27th March, 2025.The location was awesome just opposite of Dal lake. The property is on the main road between ghat 6 and 7. Market, shop, restaurant everything is easily accessible. View of Dal lake from balcony is great. The room was spacious with AC heater and heating coiled bed. But the main highlight was the hospitality of Imtiyaz bhai. He is a great human being and always there to help in any problem. He is very polite and humble and very helpful. It was a nice stay and would highly recommend others to stay there.

It was good experience there. Location and connectivity with the all visiting places are good. Caretaker was helpful but food availablity was limited. View from the hotel was great but amenities can be more better.

Location and view from the dal view hotel are beautiful. Caretaker is also helpful. We enjoy are stay there but food arrangements are not there properly. Connectivity with all the tourist places are good and autos or cabs are easily available there.

Very good experience at the hotel. The best thing is the staff hospitality and it's location (on Dal Lake Ghat No.6) with serene views. Imtiyaaz Bhai is a thorough gentleman and very helpful. He helped us get a good price for the Shikara ride and took care of our majority requirements. I would highly recommend this hotel 👍

My recent stay at Hotel Dal View near Dal Lake's gate number 6 was absolutely magical. The location couldn't be more perfect – right on the edge of the stunning Dal Lake. Waking up to the breathtaking views was a highlight of my trip. The hotel's proximity to gate number 6 made exploring the lake and surrounding areas incredibly convenient. I was particularly impressed with the hotel owner's hospitality. They were incredibly helpful and welcoming, offering great recommendations for local experiences. Not worth of staying.

There is no display Board of the property on the building, which is multistoried and different establishments are located on different floors. There is no reception. The rooms and washrooms are shabby and not worth there are no facilities such as kitchen or food available in the Hotel.
