Hotel Mount View Heritage

Recently stayed in the Hotel Mount View Heritage in mid of may 2022. I was bit hesitant before booking for 2nights because there were mixed reviews on google. People gave reviews how rooms are small or dining area, which is just outside the rooms, are noisy, or oily food. But looking at the photos, i had a positive feeling and went ahead and booked a room for 2 nights. Coming to my review which is based on my own experience, below are the details. 1. If there were options for more stars in google, i would have rated the Hotel Mount View Heritage to the fullest. This is a very nice and beautiful property and the photos internet don’t do justice to the Hotel Mount View Heritage. The property is far better than what you would see on the internet. 2. The Hotel Mount View Heritage, i believe, has only 2rooms which can accommodate 2people. Rest all rooms can accommodate more than 2people and some up to 6-7 person. I stayed in a couple room. The room is standard sized equivalent to any modern budget business Hotel Mount View Heritage. The room just looks small because of the large king sized bed in the middle and other wooden furniture. But the room comfortable. 3. The Hotel Mount View Heritage is recently renovated and it is visible in its modernised washrooms. Though it is renovated, it has still maintained the look, feel and experience of a classy heritage property. 4. The guest service was perfect, whatever you need they will provide, only if the request is reasonable. My check out was at 6am in the morning; so i requested for my breakfast packed. The night before that they gave me toasted bread, butter and boiled eggs nicely packed for my journey next day. This means a lot. 5. They provide typical and authentic parsi food which is very tasty. Our food was included in the package, and they provided food more than we could consume. No misery. If you want again, they will happily provide again. Again a very good experience. Generally mid or small sized Hotel Mount View Heritages don’t provide enough food, if it’s included in the package. Just outside the Hotel Mount View Heritage there is a very beautiful sitting area, where you can spend all your evening looking at the sunset and listening to the sounds of nocturnal insects. This place is just out of some ruskin bond stories. Overall my experience there was superb and i suggest to at least stay there for the experience. Just book blindly without any second thoughts. The place is just for people wanting to have absolute relaxation. One request to management, just provide squatty potty in the bathrooms as the commodes are too high.

the property is massive and is a very close to the nature and has a beautiful view of the mountains. if you're looking to spend some quality time in the lush green environment with sounds of birds chirping, this is the place to be. they have set up a swing, sitting arrangement at the edge of the property from where you get the mount view. we had the best evening tea there. it also has a gaming area where you can play table tennis, foosball and carrom. the staff is good and very helpful. they respond very quickly when dialed room service number. they allowed us early check in and since our bus late was in the evening, they also allowed us to keep the luggage in their office and chill out inside the property until our departure. the food was really nice and authentic parsi dishes but felt it's little expensive as you need to pay rs 650 per head if you're ordering for lunch/dinner and you cannot get it for just one/two persons. you just pay 650 per head whether they all are eating or no. they have fixed menu for a particular meal (lunch or dinner) and one can have unlimited. there's no in-house restaurant where one can order anything. the only negative feedback that i can think of is the rooms need to have far more amenities for the price they are charging. the small rooms (for 2) don't have fans, but you won't need them if visiting during winters. not sure if only acs will do it during summers! they should provide better toiletries, closet, etc. at par with the price they charge. overall it's a great place to stay if you're visiting with a family or as a couple. won't recommend if you are going with friends to have late night drinking sessions, music, etc. as i feel the other guests, who are familes, won't appreciate that and might cause issues.

The property has immense old world charm, and the staff are really, really friendly. The only drawback here is the noise - the acoustics of the property are a little odd, sound tends to travel, and while the antique grandfather clock is beautiful, if you're a light sleeper, be prepared to be woken up every 30 minutes. We were in the Triple AC room, which is on the corner and close to the kitchen, so the bustle from there was a factor too. Other than the noise though, it was a perfect stay - there are lots of nooks to hang out in and enjoy the view and the weather; the Hotel Mount View Heritage is located minutes from the main market, and the main house strikes the perfect balance in terms of being light and airy enough to be very pleasant, but not enough that you can't read a book without battling flapping pages!

Lovely property amid-st nature, peace and quiet which is maintained quite well. You wake up to the call of birds and smell of earth. The admin/manager parmar was helpful. However, there were two instances that left a sour taste for us. Their meal service is moody & inconsistent. On our last night we were told by the staff that dinner wont be cooked as there are no other guests at the property except us. This was despite informing them well in advance by afternoon. On the day of checkout, the total bill for extra food was conveyed verbally to us without any formal rate card or even an invoice. The bill was to be settled in cash only. This was a red flag for us, as we were never shown any menu card with rates. We never received any invoice/receipt post payment despite repeated requests.

The mount view heritage Hotel Mount View Heritage offers a quite and laid back vacation in a beautiful location with courteous service and good food. Highly recommended for families and those who value their peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The mount view heritage Hotel Mount View Heritage was outstanding for its quaint ambience and hospitality. The staff were prompt and courteous and the facilities and food were wonderful. The entrance was provided with hand sanitizer; however, social distancing and maintaining safety was left largely to the guest own option which all the guests were cautious about. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next trip.

We loved the antique look of the Hotel Mount View Heritage The place gives the feeling of living in a cozy cottage amidst the hills and the forest. None of the rooms have a separate view but the front yard overlooks the valley and is very prettily decorated with benches and swings making for a good evening spot to sit and relax. The food is amazing. We enjoyed dishes such as the Keema pav, cheers, poha etc. Mr. Parmar, the very hospitable caretaker, also made is taste milk puff which we absolutely loved. The wi-fi was functional most of the times. The bathrooms could have been cleaner. Overall, it was a good experience with prompt service from the hosts.

Non commercial place. The owners stay at the venue. The place is not for you if you want a pool or amazing room service but if you want peace of mind, freedom take a walk in wilderness, have a beer at the sit out, play with pets and also if you have a 9 years old like I do then, the owner's kids are also super excited and they play along. For me I am making it my go to place in Panchgani. Oh, I forgot amazing Parsi food. Vegetarian please carry your own food but for non veg, you will love it. Veg won't starve but it's a Parsi place guys, so you know. Overall, please visit with family and enjoy the experience.

The Hotel Mount View Heritage is just perfect for staying as long as you want! the property is spread over 2 acres of green land overlooking the sahyadri range of mountains! rooms are beautiful with their ancient construction and loft height ceilings. The highlight of the stay for me is their hospitality and home cooked meals. Rama and alok are almost superhuman, serving every small request with their 10000 volt smiles! we stayed there for 2 night 3 days definitely going there again and this time for much longer!

Loved the view, enjoyed all delicious meals, the service was also good, rooms too were clean and comfortable... What more can I expect. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the mount view heritage Hotel Mount View Heritage, Panchgani.

Always loved the hospitality, old word charm and the peace. Been visiting the place for last many years and the warmth, hospitality and care is still intact.

The place was really good ... Beautiful view outside. But the rules were pretty tight. They do not allow dinner for one, you have to order for 2 person. If ordered for one there will be extra charge. Prices were pretty steep for food and also for the rental bicycles (100/hr). They also don't provide complimentary breakfast.

The place is extremely well maintained, beautiful property. Rooms are clean. Food quality is good. The location of the Hotel Mount View Heritage is also extremely convenient, helps you to see most of the tourist points. The staff are very very kind and friendly.

We stayed as a family of 4 in two rooms. The place which is of 1926 vintage, is set amidst greenery and has an old world charm where life goes on unhurriedly. Though the place may appear a little worn out because of the age, the staff are positive and hospitable.

The Hotel Mount View Heritage staff are very friendly and quick to provide assistance. The room especially the washrooms are very clean. The rooms have feel of british era which adds to the charm of the property. Varity of items for breakfast and lunch/dinner is limited but the food provided is good. Overall perfect for family getaways.

Happy, positive, feel good place. Vintage, well maintained property. Feels sort of magical. Pet friendly. Great place to stay !

It’s a cottage style Hotel Mount View Heritage. The staff is very courteous and the food is delicious. The best part is the view that this place offers. Key points in panchgani, like sydney point, table land, parsi point, panchgani market are very nearby. We had a good experience here.
