About location : the guest house is surrounded on all the sides by towering mountains having snow clad peaks and lush green trees (in summers spring. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. It is situated in aru valley - about 13 kilometers away from pahalgam main market (about half an hour journey further from pahalgam. In case you get stuck in a traffic jam; be rest assured this 13 kilometers stretch can take well in excess of an hour. So, dont get fooled if some of the Hotel Snow Mount booking sell this mentioning pahalgam. Its actually some distance away. So, if you prefer being in the midst of the chaos of tourists and tourist spots near you, this might not be the place. But if you prefer a calm stay - away from the hustle & bustle of the city life (there is zero network mobile connectivity, this just might be the perfect place you are looking at. About stay : the guest house is pretty basic; nothing fancy about it. Dont look for luxuries and you will be okay with the basic stuff it has to offer. Night sleep might be disturbed depending on how others lodged in the guest house behave. The acoustics are very poor and the noise speaking voice resonates. One can clearly hear whats happening in the adjacent nearby rooms. Had 2 nights of disturbed sleep due to this. About hospitality : the owner/ staff are very helpful. Its easy to strike a conversation with them and get to know about how kashmir i and how they lead their lives. The evening conversations with the owner were very interesting (and engrossing. As they cook food against orders, it can take upto 2 hours to get your food served. So, one needs to order well in advance. Overall, it was a pleasant stay if you prefer being in the midst of the nature without connectivity

The Hotel Snow Mount is located near aru valley. Though it is far from center, the natural beauty around the Hotel Snow Mount will blow your mind. There are several waterfalls near the Hotel Snow Mount. The hosts are superb and they cook as you order. The food quality was also very good. Nevertheless, the limitations were:1. You can hear almost everything of your next cabin. 2. The hot water is only available during morning. Otherwise it is a highly recommended place. The Hotel Snow Mount is located near aru valley. 1 day felt a very short span to take in everything the place had to offer. We had a cosy room on the first floor with beautiful view through the windows, along with a common balcony. Room and washrooms were pretty clean with tap hot water supply. The family was pretty warm throughout our stay. We spent a great evening with them talking about everything and nothing. They took us to sight seeing, paragliding places and even dropped us to the taxi stand. Mudasir, afaan. Juaan and ishaad, i hope we will meet again.

stay in the snow mount guest house was very comfortable, hospitality is good, staff was very humble & cooperative. snow mount is a beautiful guest house with beautiful view. food is also good & tasty😋 can be improved. overall it’s good.
