Hotel Star Light

The Hotel Star Light has central proximity to golden temple, jallianwala bagh, transport start point for wagah border, famous local restaurant, market. Positive points - room bed was spacious and comfortable. Ac was good. Complimentary mineral water bottle for each day. Staff was prompt in addressing no hot water in tap issue, replacing torn fleece blankets found on room checkin and providing information local site-seeing on enquiring with them. Points for improvement - room had an am-la (india gooseberry) oil odour, the room floor was dusty when we checked in at 1am and since reception didn't allow to drop door entry card while we were out site-seeing during the day, the cleaning staff never got a chance to clean up during our 2 night stay. We just wiped on the dusty floor with floor mat in room. Room has a colored glass in the wall separating the passage and the room and there is a bright ceiling hanging light in the passage which unnecessarily passes indirect light into the room at night. Also, glass separator portion in the wall in a ground floor room can be security concern.

The Hotel Star Light is located at walking distance from Golden Temple as well as from Jallianwala Bagh. Though the rooms were quite small, they were maintained with good hygiene standards. The Hotel Star Light is safe for families. Some of the shortcomings were like the non AC rooms were not ventilated. Sockets points were not sufficient and the area of the rooms were small.

Very nice place close to golden temple, nice hospitality the only thing that which i faced they should update exact location on go-ogle and mm t maps. Next again i would like to stay at the Hotel Star Light. Thx

Overall it was a good stay for a night, Hotel is new and work is still on, staff is very helpful, Hotel is clean and neat. Hotel location is very good in proximity to Golden temple and Jalaianwala Baug

Location was the excellent thing! apart from it the room, cleanliness, everything was up to the mark! if you want to visit the golden temple and jalianwala bagh, nothing can be better than this!
