familyRooms are very smelly. Water will come out from the washroom and spoil the entire flooring of the room. The bed edges are very sharp and it hurts a lot when moving around. The wi-fi will not work after closing the door. There is a separate wi-fi network for tv but they don't give us the password for that network. So basically no wifi for our phones / laptops. We stayed for 4 days but no cleaning was done. The coconut tree view from the room was good. Ventilation was good. We used to open the windows and turn on the ac to avoid smell. The storage space was good. The hotel marata in 1st floor was good. Response from the stall was decent. Not sure these issues are just with our room or all rooms are like that. Over all 2 out of 5 is our rating.

My stay with surya palace was pleasant, the team was co-operative and supported well. It was a great place to stay with family too. Connectivity to all major parts of the city is easily accessible. Hotel maratha darbaar which is part of surya palace for food is also having good taste with all varieties of food, specially goan food and fish dishes. Overall good experience in limited expenses.

We booked it because it was the nearest hotel to our office, people were so nice. Room was also fine. We went in the rainy session so it some things were not fine. This hotel is just to stay if you are here for some work trip and don't have option to book somewhere else. Food we didn't like so we went outside. Rooms were cleaned on saying and service was very quick.

I found surya hotel and stay is so good as room was neat clean and staff behaviour is also good. As a gujrati i have a issue with food but jeera rice was a good in taste and as well as hotel manager was also nice and helpful to get things done easily.

A very horrible experience the rooms are dirty no hot water no tv no wifi waste of money and the staff is ridiculous very cheap behaviour staff for every thing charring extra money. My humble request is don't book this type of hotels

We appreciate your reply. The extra money charged was for early check in as your check in time was 5 am in the morning. We humbly request you to read the voucher before booking. If you book a room with lowest rate then you will get the modarate facilites. If one wants to have executive room then you have to pay more. We humbly want to bring it to your attention that only air you breath is for free and for everything else in life you have to pay.

Hotel surya palace is placed in the heart of the margao citi called fatorda where all important places in margao like arlem, borda, colva, midc, ponda, panjim, margao railway station, margao kt c are having smooth connectivity. As per location, prices are cheap and service is good. Team members are supporting and co-operative. Placed on main highway gives you wings for your new journey. Cleaning, hotel management is good. Food from their hotel maratha is also delicious and healthy. Must select on the next trip especially those who want good things at a cheaper price.
