Hotel Wood Castle

This place is awesome. The view from the room is heavenly and especially the way rajesh kumar handled everything from hot water to slippers. Infact every need that we had. His plan for the new year evening with bon fire and music and the sweet and jolly nature, it made our beginning a wonderful one. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful and amazing host. I am taking these memories at my heart and would be staying only here the next time i visit mcleodganj. Special thanks to rajesh kumar for being like a family member taking care of every small bit for us. He even let us supervise a cup of tea as to our liking by letting us inside the kitchen.

The Hotel Wood Castle is clean with all the fixtures in place. The washroom was clean and all fittings working properly. The Hotel Wood Castle does have a shortcut to the main square and one reaches in 7-10 mins. The staff is particularly helpful. We were leaving early the next morning, around 7am they arranged tea for us upon request. The view from our room was beautiful. The breakfast has fixed options but variety and made to order. Their menu has Tibetan food as well indian food (butter chicken too).

We booked the delux rooms for 5 days in january 20, but when we reached there we requested for upgradation and manager was very helpful. He upgraded the room to premium room with balcony view. Food was delicious and we preferred to dine in Hotel Wood Castle rather than outside. Mr rajesh is very helpful, his politeness & helpful nature is absolutely good. He helped us to roam around in mcleodganj to catch the attractive points. Overall it was wonderful stay. Ok

The view from the room was fantastic. Although they do have rooms without a view, so one needs to be careful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The service was great, though it stops post 10 pm. Before 10 pm though, you receive the attentions of super helpful and resourceful staff. The food's also good, especially the ginger, honey, lemon tea, which was delicious. A complete value for money. The location's a bit tough, but manageable.

We booked the Hotel Wood Castle for a day. The rooms and food are above average. What steals the show is the view from the Hotel Wood Castle and its proximity to the mall road. If coming by car, call the property beforehand to know the exact location of the parking space. Mcleodganj is mostly one way and if you miss the cut, you will have to take the whole round again.

I came to this Hotel Wood Castle with my family and stayed here for 4 nights. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The view from the rooftop restaurant and room was awesome. The main market is just 5 mins walk from this Hotel Wood Castle. The Hotel Wood Castle staff is also very well behaved. Also, we were provided with early check-in without any additional cost.

Very neat clean, all sop's were followed by the staff regarding covid measures, very cooperative staff and management, nice view from room and balcony, all necessary places are within walking distance. I loved my stay in the Hotel Wood Castle and would love to visit there again and refer my friends and relative to stay in this propertt for sure.

Hotels location was easy to find and room and washroom was hygienic, clean and cozy. Mountain view from the Hotel Wood Castle room was spectacular. Food was also good and tasty. Big shout out to Hotel Wood Castles manager waseem bhai, who helped us a lot in our stay. I recommend this Hotel Wood Castle to everyone.

Location is good, 500-600 M walk from main McLeodganj market (shortcut from rooftop). Service is prompt. Food is tasty and reasonable. No heaters in room, so chilly. Hot water available 24x7. Drive to Hotel Wood Castle is easy as compared to other Hotel Wood Castles in mcleod. Ample parking available

We are stay two days in Hotel Wood Castle wood coastal rooms are very nee t and clean & Hotel Wood Castle staff &food are also good

Excellent Stay Experience. Rajeshji was indeed a superb incharge. We loved it there. Rajeshji is a sweetheart. Food was good. View was amazing from rooms. If you want to stay in McLeodganj. This is the Perfect place :)

One of the best budget Hotel Wood Castles i ever stayed at. Mesmerising views, stones throw to market, friendliest staff. My go to Hotel Wood Castle next time i visit this place.

It was good, receptionist was helpful. They were very strict regarding the timings for the food. Cleanliness was there.

We chose the premium room with valley view, and the early morning views of snow capped mountains was otherworldly! very well maintained rooms too - certainly recommend

Overall it was a very good stay especially an attendant named rajesh who was excellent in his services.

The view outside is very attractive. One can stay looking outsides towards the natural beauty for hours. All necessary arrangements and amenities are available nearby. Hotel staff is nice but feel overburdened as they are very few in number. Hotel staff not available during night hours.

Wasim bhai the manager of wood castle he was so nice and taking care of us. Food quality is okay and the most important thing is view from the rooms are so amazing
