Indriya Sands

Nestled with Kerala backwaters on one side and the sea on the other, it is a great place to away from it all. Cherai Beach is a big but Indriya Sands is in a very quiet part, two pools, an indoor and an outdoor with the sea beckoning just a stone throw away are a water lovers delight. Typical Kerala architecture and food add to the ambience of the place. The staff is courteous and ready to help. The property is clean and well maintained. Only drawback is limited wifi connectivity. We did not miss that at all since it was a holiday.

Great location at a decent price. The beach is right across the resort which was convenient and the resort offers boating and kayaking free of charge on their property at the backwater area. It's not good food wise for vegetarians as there were very few options. We had to ask them a few times so that they would provide us with the vegetarian options on the menu. Some waiters and cleaning crew were not wearing masks either while interacting with us, even though most of the management staff and reception folks were.

We had an amazing stay. Booked the beach view cottage and thankfully got the 2 interconnected rooms on the first floor where u can see and hear the beach. Rooms were quite large, bathrooms good and balcony views are great. Hospitable staff. You can sit near the backwaters and do stuff like kayaking and paddle boat. Food is nice and since the kitchen wasn't live, we had to preorder. Breakfast was a let down though as there were just 2 items.

The resort offers not just good food and rooms but also the activities which can be availed and you will never feel bored. Kuzhupilly beach is right at its front gate, fishing activities will entertain you with easy catch of pearl spots, the lagoon can be used for kayaking and pedal boating. Swimming pool is well maintained. The rooms are made mostly with wooden walls and the noise from nearby rooms can be heard.

We booked for four families for weekend. All of us liked the facility a lot, especially kids. Calm and beautiful location with easy access to beach (not crowded). The staff was friendly and had lot of consideration for us. Perfect for a weekend stay. Food needs to be ordered 1 hour before. If there was an option to get tea/ snacks etc without wait, it would have been better.

Below are few of the pros I have noticed during my stay with family. 1. Excellent location 2. Helpful and lovely staff. Kudos to them. 3. Clean bathrooms 4. Fish curry was good 😊 Cons 1. Not worth for the money .8.5k for 2 adults and 1 kid. 2. Swimming pool need proper maintenance 3. Bedroom need good cleaning. Especially the pillows . 4. Wi-Fi signal was poor.

Positives: Backwater room and balcony view, food quality & taste, staff, two pools, very close to back-water, beach is just in front of the resort. Areas to improve: The room bathroom exhaust smells bad when switched on fire to lot of taped insects in the net, breakfast spread is limited, the beach road to the resort is quite bad in some sections.

Regarding boating preferably one person conversant in the field to be deputed as in charge life jackets and allied accessories to be made available it will be better to have live kitchen privacy to be provided in swimming pool area. Intercom numbers to be displayed in rooms instructions for hot water tap usage to be clearly displayed

The stay in Indriya sands was very wonderful. Food, rooms, hospitality and the location is very good.

Door connection in between rooms may be avoided.

A good place to be aloof. Had a peaceful time with family.

Very helpful staff. Especially Mr Mijo. He went all out to arrange a private space to celebrate my son's birthday. Bo wifi in rooms and very limited choices for breakfast

We came here to get some good space from our hectic schedules. The thing that attracted the most is your pool, I just love the space cleanliness and the way you have kept it. Will See you soon cheers
