Very good hotel if you want to stay close to nature & enjoy the fresh air, lush greenery & very good food

I thank ms Choral for helping me book my stay one day in advance on a very short notice. Great staff at ladakh sarai. Amazing welcome drink. Wonderful ambience. Very well behaved staff, they made me at ease immediately, helped me with internet quickly. I came to them as a tourist but i was sick and they took very good care of me. I will recommend this place to everyone. And i would most certainly visit them again. The rooms are beautiful and clean. I loved the place the most in leh.

We, a family of 8, had booked 3 rooms for 19th may. On arrival, the hotel staff informed that our room was upgraded to a duplex accommodation as they had come to know that we were a family. Post dinner, the manager of the hotel approached us and offered complimentary desert. We were to check out at 5. 30 am on 20th and the hotel staff took all the pain to pack our breakfast before checking out. In all, their services surpassed our expectations. The hotel is located at the outskirts of leh. Quiet place. View of snow-clad peaks from the hotel is awesome. The hotel has yoga room and tt room. In all, it was a good experience.

Very friendly staff, property away from city crowd and great food

The property is nice no doubt - but the biggest let down was the customer service. We stayed here 5+ days here and each day was a struggle for basic things that you would expect any hotel half the cost to have. 1) terrible non-existent wifi on all days - not a one off 2) the rooms were nice but claustrophobic due to lack of air circulation, we requested for a small portable fan ( an amenity found easily in most hotels in leh and hunder as the summers tend to get really hot ) but no luck here 3) the food and service in the indian restaurant was good - the asian restaurant was a disaster both in terms of food and service - basic things like garlic soup which most restaurants provide on request to guests with headaches etc for acclimatisation was denied as it was not a part of the fixed menu. On ordering something as simple as a lime soda, the waiter made a face and said that will have to be procured from the indian restaurant which was amusingly a couple of steps away. 4) there was a sponge like object kept in the washroom (to mask leakage from the flush) which made the entire place smell mouldy. After a point we just gave up in trying to give any feedback to the clueless receptionist and wondered if paying a 60% surge over the average room rate worth it. The property has potential but the management really needs to wake up and get the staff some sensitisation training

Green, open spaces. Rooms with panoramic views. Three restaurants serving indian, asian and ladakh cuisine. Absolutely wonderful service.

The resort has beautiful green spaces and fantastic dining areas. Locate slightly away from the main city, it provides excellent views of the himalayan ranges from the balconies.

A must visit for all the ladakh travellers! the hotel staff, rooms, view, food variety and quality were all excellent. It’s a little far from the city, so if you are planning to visit the main market by foot then that is inconvenient.

Totally unexpected place! The staff was so courteous and always ready to help with a smile. Presence of the owner, Mr. Rigzin, shows how dedicated he and his team is to provide everything one needs there!

We chose Leh as the base for our Ladakh trip and chose Ladakh Sarai for its natural setting and location. We communicated with the hotel in advance for cab and permit arrangements, and the same were arranged in advance without much fuss. Upon arrival at the Resort, we were greeted by the staff and given a local herbal tea as a welcome drink. The check-in was smooth and we immediately fell in love with our cozy mud house. The entire resort was very well maintained and had good views of the mountains from all areas. The food served was of good quality, but what made it special was the excellent service provided by the staff. They were always ready to help you with regular as well as exceptional requests! We had a change of plans and decided to stay over in Nubra for one night the Resort provided us a room in their Nubra property in exchange for our booking in Leh. That made our lives so much easier. The stay at Ladakh Sarai was icing on the whole experience of our Ladakh trip. Would definitely recommend it for everyone!
