The location of the property is really good. However, due to lack of maintenance, it is in an abysmal state. The maintenance/service team is highly understaffed. Would recommend hiring a few more people to look after the property and room services.

Location of the property is in a very nice but secluded place. Very peaceful. Maintenance of the property is highly required for which I would have actually given 3 stars but the staff were very good and very helpful. I would like to rate the Ashwin and Armugam 5 out of 5. Overall the stay was good and had very nice time there.

very bad hotel. all things were dirty smell was coming from bathroom. also it was at top of hills and u have to walk around 750 meter upside hills. no other food options near by and food of hotel is terrible bad. we order kadai paneer, paneer quality was very bad and we did not eat that. later we order egg noodles and they forgot to add salt. when we complained then they ask to take food and mix salt in kadai we denied because we have tested and its not good to cook in same container.

The stay and ambience was good but the resort not much clean and maintenance required overall .They need to have a basic check for the bathroom for water and cleanliness.

Food and room are Good but I had booking for four people in one room but they can't provide extra bed in that charges

The stay at Lance Silver Falls was decent. Room cleanliness and basic amenities were satisfactory, but the service was slow and food options limited. Location is nice, but overall experience could be better with improved hospitality and maintenance.

The property is well-maintained, with high standards of cleanliness and comfort. The staff demonstrated excellent professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring a seamless experience throughout my visit. I would confidently recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers.

The property was nothing like described . the rooms and bathrooms were dirty. The rooms had not been cleaned, there were dirty, soiled sheets on the floor and inside the cupboard, which made the rooms stink. there were no electric kettles in the rooms, and hardly any other amenity mentioned. The manager was rude, and refused to help.

The property is located at a nice location (somewhere in between Coonoor & Ooty ) from where you can enjoy a great view. The rooms were spacious, and the staff was polite and helpful. Food was not so great but OKish. Overall nice stay.

We booked 3 rooms (Valley view Delux room with balcony and breakfast). We stayed here on 5th to 7th May 2025. -Hotel is good with very good rooms and bathroom, view from hotel rooms will be very good as this is located on hill top. They have huge balconies with nice sit out place but they were not that clean. They have arranged camp fire (sub to additional cost of 1500/-), also food will be arrange at the campfire which you can thoroughly enjoy. Staff were supportive in providing details for us like visiting places or eateries in Coonoor. -Location of the hotel is also easy to find out but Tricky part is the drive way to hotel rooms from gate is completely tricky as the hotel is situated on a hill. Should be very careful driving the way (strictly new to driving or 'L' board drivers are not recommended to be here as it will definitely feel you bad) -TV were there but recharge was not done, after we asking it was made ready -Food was good, we ordered phulka, egg burji, egg fried rice, curd rice. Next day breakfast was good with 4 varieties server buffet. Don't expect a morning coffee, as when we asked the only 1 attender available for rooms service and kitchen arrangement said like if he works on coffee arrangement then the breakfast would be late (poor guy nothing to blame on him), but he provided coffee by the time we entered kitchen for breakfast (8:30 AM) -Place will look like isolated but will be very peace and you can enjoy the views, nearby no shops or eateries, anything you need, then to travel min of 3 km downhill to a small village -Additional bed will be provided on ask for cost of 1500/bed (which is common I guess but though of mentioning, felt a bit high) Overall rating: 4/5, Food rating: 3/5, Ambience, cleanliness & Staff response: 4/5, Will suggest this stay with families and kids, no issues

Overall stay was good, location is very serene and awesome, one of the main reason i liked this property is its location. Breakfast was not good, but i ordered food in dinner from their restro which was descent.

Lance Silver Falls, Coonoor, could have been a wonderful place to stay. It’s located in a beautiful area and the property itself looks promising at first glance. But unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. What followed was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. The service was shockingly poor. Basic things like timely food, water supply, and even staff courtesy were missing. On one morning, the water supply stopped altogether, and we couldn’t even freshen up or get ready properly – which meant we ended up missing our breakfast too. Honestly, the whole situation reminded us of the Malayalam movie Turuppu Gulan, where a 5-star hotel is run by a roadside shop owner. This felt exactly the same – a beautiful hotel completely ruined by mismanagement and careless service. The noises from the kitchen while sitting in the restaurant were unbearable – staff were shouting loudly, making it an uncomfortable and unpleasant dining experience. When we approached the hotel boys for help, they gave rude looks instead of offering any assistance. It seems like a major staff shortage or complete lack of training is the root cause of all this. But whatever the reason, it doesn’t excuse the terrible service. It might look good in pictures, but the reality is very different. This was, without doubt, the worst stay we’ve ever had at any hotel.

Food was too spicy inspite of asking. Toiletries and anything which we asked for all guests, they said its over. I left my clothes during check out by mistake and they said its not there. I clearly remember it was on the bathroom backdoor

Had a wonderful time at this resort. The location is stunning, with panoramic views of the hills and greenery. The staff was courteous, and the food was good. It helped me disconnect and enjoy the nature around. Great place for a peaceful getaway! Little far from main town with no shops nearby, but good for people who want to stay far from noise and city crowd.

Timely Actions Were Available In Providing Food, Cab Arrangements. No Disturbances, quiet and peaceful stay,

The rooms are well maintained and staffs are very supportive and approachable. Food should be improved
