Nice & Comfortable
bharat katyal
The resort is easy accessible & one can reach it with the help of google maps. The staff is very Co-operative & friendly. It’s a very big resort with a swimming pool , which is well maintained. We were welcomed very warmly by the manager at the reception. He was very polite & attended to all our queries very keenly. We asked to arrange for a cake in evening as it was my daughters birthday & they did it promptly with an decoration at the pool side. The tents were spacious & clean. The tents was well equipped with lights , AC & a room heater. The washroom was quiet evening they arrange for tea & snacks which are quiet delicious. During night there is a cultural program in the common area which is quiet entertaining . There is an open bar also with a variety of liquors but you can take your own bottle also for which they will charge a minimal amount per bottle . After the cultural program there is an arrangement for dinner also which is also good. The resort arranged for jeep safari , camel riding & star watching also for which they charge. After discussion of all the positive things there are few suggestions from my side which the property can think over & implement. There were no TV’s in the tent , which is a major drawback as everything in the resort winds up by 10 pm & there is no other source of entertainment. The food is good & delicious but the variety in the buffet is limited. The resort should work on their menu part keeping in my mind that there is no room service for food plus no other option available nearby. Overall it was a nice experience at the resort. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends, family & the people reading this review. Their hospitality is really very nice.
Good Stay

Sttaff at the place is very warm and courteous. They generally do not serve lunch at the place. So it is recommended to have lunch on the way or carry your lunch. However mr. Jipin from the Le Royal Camps provided me some bread toast at no additional cost as i had not had or carried my lunch. The camel ride is included in the booking price and the jeep safari comes at an additional price. The camel ride is superb and the jeep safari is decent (not worth rs. 1500- that i paid. The cultural event in the evening is great. There is a traditional rajasthan welcome followed by tea and snacks. During the event they serve beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) followed by dinner. The snacks, dinner and breakfast were super delicious and also had a variety of dishes to choose from. The traditional rajasthan cuisine (such as gatte ki sabzi, dal baati, churma, ker sangri) they served was really delicious. The tents are quite well maintained although i visited almost towards the end of the tourist season. They are obviously not like a 5star Le Royal Camps. However one cannot reasonably expect a tent to be so. They have all basic amenities such as blankets, ac, heater, fan, fridge, tea/coffee packets, mosquito repellent, hot water etc.
Very good

Positives: 1. The property is well maintained. 2. Staff are courteous and helpful. 3. Our tent was very nice. Nice 12 inch soft mattress + all the basic amenities that one requires. All day running hot water. Linens were clean. 4. Snacks at 6 pm. Were tasty too. Buffet. 5. Dinner and breakfast were very tasty. Buffet too. Food lived up to and beyond the standards we would have liked. North south indian + traditional rajasthani. Negatives: in their booking it was mentioned that either lunch or dinner would be served complimentary. We had reached without having lunch at about 2:40 pm and hoped for some food, but there was none. The nearest restaurant was 1 km away. Since we didn't have our own vehicle we had to ask the Le Royal Camps's safari jeep driver to take us there. For which he asked 500 rs. Which is just absurd. We refused and had made some tea in the room itself. Also there was no arrangement of snacks in the sand dunes to which we were taken by a camel( complimentary. So basically first 3 4 hours of the trip were uncomfortable. It got better and better after that. Just don't come hungry here. Rest you'd enjoy every bit the cultural program was wonderful too.
luxury stay in the middle of Desert 😃
Ranjana Singh
I stayed in the luxury tent with my 6 month old daughter, my husband n our pet pug name brownie. When we entered the Le Royal Camps reception I was little confused if it will be good or not but after entering our tent it was all worth it we payed for one night which included breakfast/ dinner , camel ride , Welcome drink , Evening cultural program . The rooms were very spacious well decorated clean and very luxurious looking our washroom was also very spacious The food were amazing everything tasted so good the highlight of the stay was camel ride to thar desert which was so so amazing we were able to capture some amazing sunset pictures we also got complimentary snacks after returning from the ride. The only thing which I felt was bit off was that the property was under construction and the way from luxury tent to dining are n reception was very far n troublesome rest everything was amazing.
Trip to Jaisalmer

It was indeed a great stay at the Le Royal Camp. The rooms are worth the amount you pay. For families going with small kids should be self sustained in terms of milk powder, certain medicines, etc. Families with all adults, it's an amazing experience to stay in the tents. The camel ride to the dunes and seeing the sun set further in the west gives one an amazing feel. The young couples may take the time off to go for the Jeep safari as well to feel the thrill of actual off roading on the dunes. The folk dance and music by the locals both at the dunes and back as the camping site it worth the time you spend there. The time to visit is from October to mid March, but one should not miss the annual desert festival which is every year from 6th to 9th Feb. Overall a great stay and a much needed getaway for the complete family.
Slightly secluded camp but not by much
Arjay Pramanik
Stay was pleasant. The tent quality is good. The bed quality is excellent. The hosts are good and tend to the guests well. The location is actually pretty good, is by it's own, only one other camp nearby. Safety wise also good. Camp tents have doors that can be locked. Pool is generally clean. All water is salty save mineral water. Can't be helped because its a desert and borewell water really comes from deep below. Safari inclusions are there, both camel & jeep. Had a fun outing with a camel herder called arshad, kept us quite entertained. The local music programme is quite loud but is limited to 10 pm, so that is nice. All in all, we had a fun time, felt quite taken care of. Ps: during the day, it gets hot and not much to do. Best plan a day at jaisalmer from 10 am to 5 pm.

Best place in jaisalmer in sand dunes
Dipika Rain
This is the place to enjoy vacation in sand dunes in jaisalmer. Located 1 hr from jaisalmer airport and main city. Daily cultural activities and variety of food with cultural music and lots of activities can be done here like camel safari, jeep ride, paras-ailing etc. Pleasant climate and peace full place. You can visit lonewala war museum and ta-not mata mandir which is located 120 km away from this place. They provide you car to travel in city and famous tourist places. Helpful staff, you will enjoy your stay here
I Liked it very much

Good location and value for money
Sujeshkumar Raveendran
It’s an average property with value for money. They have ac in tents and some does not have ac. The property is 40km for jaisalmer and very close to sand dunes. They arrange for a city visit in jeep (extra 2500. Evening they take for dessert safari in jeep (extra 1400). Food options are very limited and more of home stay style.
Overall experience was very good

The service was very good, and our stay was so relaxing.
Good stay but expensive
ADITYA IYER
The place looks much bigger in the photos than it actually is. There would be probably 20 cottages. . There are other good resorts nearby that would cost about 5k. Jeep safari and camel ride also seemed expensive at rs 2k & 500 resp. Food was decent, room was decent

I stayed for 2 days with my wife. I wanted to give her surprise for a romantic dinner date and party for her birthday so I requested to manager (Jabbar Singh Ji). He made all the arrangements for the party. Staff members were so friendly, food was yummy, clean pool, great location so overall it's a great deal in a very good budget.
