Booked two rooms, duff bookings, but the review is the same. excellent for the stay A beautiful home-stay located high up from the hustle and noise of Kodai. A view to die for, this place is situated a stone's throw from suicide point. So, you get to wake up to the clear view of the plains below in the morning, fog rolling up the mountains in the afternoon and sparkling stars both in the sky n the City below. Everyone at the homestay was courteous and welcoming, ready to assist at a moments notice. Would definitely suggest the bonfire at night, it's a bit chilly but who cares when you have a fire to keep you warm and a beautiful lawn to just chill. The prices are reasonable. Shout out to Prakash for actually picking us up from the City center and bringing us to the homestay (the traffic was maddening and there was one way which Google maps just couldn't figure out). Another shout out for the birthday flower bouquet. Just wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful break from the maddening City life!

First the Lofty Meadows Villa | Rooms & Caretaker location is really good inside a fully secured compound just next to the suicide point (green valley view. We have the option to select between the colonial building and the modern one. Though the basic room at the colonial building was not upto the mark, the grand one was looking amazing with all the brutish period stuff, it would be worth a stay of lifetime. I stayed at the new building since some renovation was underway in the brutish bungalow. The room had a big glass window with the view of the valley. All the staff were very friendly and you get an amazing complementary breakfast and made to order food. I loved their idly, pongal, chicken 65, chicken manchurian and an wonderful sweet corn soup.

This property is part of mill heaven. No signage of lofty meadows. The old bunglow is not accessible for lofty meadows occupants. So dont go by the old british style common area etc as advertised. You must have your own vehicle or else it's a disastor to stay here. View was good but the glass panel used in the room gets fogged and you have to keep wiping it to see the view. No privacy if you want the view. A balcony would have been a better design rather than one huge glass that keeps fogging up. If you want isolation and view nearby the city then this is ok.

If you want to go away from the crowds and rush from the city, this is the place. With an excellent view from premium room (which has a balcony). Breakfast was okay with limited options. Dinner we really liked specially the chicken 65. The location of the place is a bit complicated. So better to call Mr. Prakash when you reach green Valley view point market place. Mr. Prakash was really helpful through out our stay. All the staffs were really nice and polite. Only one request, if they can give warm drinking water during winter.

First, I need to say thanks to Prakash (manger) and Salith Nathan (care taker) for the hospitality they provided to us. I had a great time visiting there. If you want to enjoy the beauty of mountains with the foggy weather this is the place which will fulfill your wishes. You can get the amazing view of the green Valley point (former name suicide point) from the balcony of the room compared to the actual green Valley point. At first I thought it is bit expensive for the room and after staying there I realized it's Worth it.

It's like a heaven. I think nothing can be better than this. This is basically the best photographic and shooting place. Heritage of the building just awesome. All furnitures are totally brutish style and the room was too large. Dinning hall is excellent and the food was so tasty and fresh. Chicken fried rice was awesome. And the person parmeshwar, the care taker was so great to help you at any time. I am really great full to make my trip, lofty meadows and parmeshwar to make my 1st wedding anniversary that much special.

We are a couple touring south india and we had an excellent stay at lofty meadows. The time we spent here was made even more pleasant thanks to kart-hick and prakash. The staff was so warm and hospitable and met all our needs. The food here is especially good if you're up for some good home cooked south indian food. We enjoy the lovely breakfast and scenic view from our room. I would recommend this place to couples and families seeking solitude and peace from the typical tourist crowd at kodaikanal.

This home stay is in front of green valley view formerly known as suicide point, so it is wonderful location where you can see mist and beautiful scenic often and feel you are just above the cloud. Excellent staff who attends and address all our requests. Overall had very good experience. One thing is that you won't be able to go out after 6pm and as this property is little away from city we are in position to have dinner from this property only. Food tastes good but little overcharged.

Property at a very pleasant location, good service by the caretakers, beautiful view, clean rooms, good space

If you are in the premium rooms it has a view which is mind blowing. Sun rise over looking the distant Lakes is surreal

Everything was very smooth, the location was pretty good and the property was very well maintained.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and we really enjoyed the calm and serene nature at this location. Sunrise is highlight part of the day.

With a lovely bunch of people running this little patch of heaven, it's location and old time charm is just enhanced manifold. We had a lovely time enjoying the lovely lawns and amazing food. You might Miss the gate is you get there at rush hour but once there you wouldn't want to leave. Will surely visit again.

It was a memorable experience for my wife and myself. Loved the surroundings of the property. So calm and peaceful. Would recommend it to everybody. The staff were super friendly and really helpful. Special shout out to "kartik" who made our stay very comfortable. It is truly a heaven for nature lovers.

The entire trip was spoiled by rain and thunder showers as no sight seeing were attempted nice property but most of the time electricity was absent due to rain the care taker karthik was magical and provided us homely food will try to go back again

The address was nice and easy to locate. All the facilities and services were up to the mark and satisfactory. Everything was good. A recommendable property of all.

Best place away from the crowd and noise!

This homestay is a brutish bunglow and the stay will have an antique feeling. The rooms are spacious and can accommodate 4 persons easily. The furnitures are antique and beautiful. Most of the flooring is wooden and some are by stone. It has a stunning view from the front lawn. The caretaker of the property is friendly and helpful. Your stay will be safe and memorable.
