Maharishi Ayurveda-Boutique Wellness Retreat

PROS : the Stay was absolutely awesome neat and clean and 100% support from property whether it was from cleaning purposes or we wanted something like cutlery. Breakfast was on point tasty you can also ask the kitchen staff to adjust your food from spices and salt purposes. Tea and coffe was super tasty. The staff was more than cooperative. the rooms furniture and aesthetic were nice. and beautiful. the property was very unique a must visit. the complementary massage they give is ok ok but thats fine too. CONS: here comes the 'but' that is the transportation medium. from 8am to 8pm no direct auto goes to tapovan or the Maharishi Ayurveda-Boutique Wellness Retreat. the auto stops at the check point from there its still a good walk to reach the property, no auto will drop you there. if you want to go somewhere from Maharishi Ayurveda-Boutique Wellness Retreat the autos before check point ask for a hell lot of money for 2 km they will ask for 400...I am not kidding and they will not hesitate. the transportation sucks like there will be autos everywhere but the PRICE IS LIKE WAY TOO TOO TOO MUCH. The best way is obviously your bargaining skills and pick up an running auto not an auto which is parked somewhere. If you find no good auto then walk till check point and take auto from there it helps sometimes.. just sometimes with money. But still you will have to argue a lot.

The overall experience was really good. 1. The food is very basic and light, the dinner ends at 8:30 pm so should plan accordingly 2. The entire property had a peaceful vibes and ambience is really subtle. The terrace area is very calm and have yoga room. The neutral tones added to the beauty of the property. 3. One negative thing - we checked in late and therefore slept late, people staying there do not appreciate loud voices at late night. As someone knocked our door asking us to lower the volume, which is also fine and the place itself is very quiet. If you are a type of person who likes to enjoy calm and quite environment, this is the place for you 4. Since the food is very basic, should not expect a great variety. It goes with the tone of the property

This is a very quiet peaceful and wonderful Maharishi Ayurveda-Boutique Wellness Retreat. Rooms & bathrooms are spacious and clean. Food is simple and tasty. Panchkarma food is also good. Although being close to main road, it is quiet as it is a little off the mani road. It is just 5 min walk to laxman jhoola by shortcut, which is shown on google map. Potli massage by 2 people was something different. There is a yoga class on the mornings and meditation too

The ashram is hard to find among-st the labyrinth of gallis in tapovan. We waited an hour for the room. The room was comfortable and calming. True to the theme, there is no tv. The calmness was disturbed by construction next door. The abhyanga was worth it. The vegetarian thali was tasty. Balwant, at the front desk, made the stay pleasant. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Located right next to all the good restaurants and only 10 mins to laxman jhula. Breakfast was good. Rooms were spacious and clean, the towels and bathrobes could be better. Massage was nice and the yoga class in the morning was refreshing too.

Neat and clean rooms. The food was homely and delicious. Didn't have time to do any panchkarma, will surely try it the next tine. Overall an awesome stay and will surely recommend it.

Food was amazing. Thali was superb. Room cleanliness was an issue. Besdsheets and quilts were not washed. Full body massage was okayish. Not very great. Overall had a decent stay.

Location is little unapproachable. Staff very cooperative. Very neat, clean and tidy accommodation. Good complementary yoga session.

The stay was pleasant, good simple food, courteous staff. Only the location of property is lil remote.

A bit disappointed with the location, the retreat is surrounded by many properties and you don’t get a good view from the rooms

There is a malai and pooja thali for guests - although we self welcomed ourselves there, nobody at the property did it for us. The overall look & feel is of ayurvedic.

If you’re looking for ayurvedic treatments would highly recommend this property. Good service and decent food. Value for money.
