Massara Beach Resort

Massara Beach Resort is located in a peaceful area. Though this Resort is located far from the Mandarmoni City center (Mansa Mandir), as per our experience the choice of staying here was Worth as we wanted a lonely quiet relaxation which we got for its the location. This is an absolute Beach Resort as Sea is touching the Resort wall and boulders multiple times in a day. We went there in a mid-week (Thursday, Friday), so we got the desired lonely environment. Though the Resort gets occupied in the weekends. As it's a Beach Resort and the Resort is blessed with an awesome sitting and relaxation area, there is basically no need of Sea facing rooms. Though they have 3 types of rooms. 1. Deluxe, 2. Garden facing and 3. Sea facing and prices are ascending accordingly but I would suggest choosing deluxe (the cheapest ones) as just the moment u step outside your room, you are welcomed with Sea wind and awesome Sea view, so what's the need to pay extra bucks? Next comes the services provided by the staff. Staff is helpful if you talk nicely with them, don't judge me, but Mandarmoni is basically a village area, obviously, they are not trained house-staffs. But they have normal but good hospitality, so please have patience and communicate to get a hearty welcome. One of the most reported cons for this Resort is this is located in isolation, which creates total dependency of food on the Resort. But believe me they are serving really tasty and good quality food that you won't be disappointed, it may not that pocket-friendly if u stay in City center, but still, you anyway become happy with the food they are serving. As you decided to stay at a Beach Resort, so try the Seafood like crabs, fish, etc. To get the crabs and other Seafood, book an auto to City center. Resort staff will support you to get the auto driver's number. Even you can walk 500 meters to reach the main Road and can get auto which will take you to City center at the rate of 20bucks per head. So overall, to get an alone, quiet, relaxation. You should visit the Massara Beach Resort. Thanks!

If you have low expectations then it's recommended. Room is not dirty but not well maintained. Washroom is specious but has problem with knob of tap. Doors and windows are good but door handles need repairing. Food quality is OK type not so testy. Room service is OK but not good as they do not have intercom. AC are mostly window type and need immediate maintenance, however they work 24 hours basis but cooling is not good. Overall I will rate good rate but the most horrible part is the way. You need to drive on the Beach to reach to the Massara Beach Resort. In rainy season there is every possibility to get stuck and no one will come rescue you. The Massara Beach Resort management should address this issue immediately otherwise they will start loosing their business. Over all the its a good property for 1 or 2 days stay with family with low expectation.

The location of the property by means of view is great. The only negative is the approach road to this location. About 400 meters of kachcha road with various turns makes it difficult. Food service is slow and food quality is average. I booked a sea view room but you have to open the door and come to the balcony to view the sea. Ac doesn't have a remote and temperature is controlled by an on/off switch manually. If u feel hot then switch on the ac and off when cold. Sea beach is very near to location and the property is literally on the beach itself. The beach area was cleaned and the only disturbance if u found it is if the Massara Beach Resort staff is enjoying it during that time. The Massara Beach Resort shows a swimming pool but it's not available. I was told that it dried.

Massara Beach Resort is a good property, only missing thing is lack of maintenance. Place was built with nice spacious rooms, bathroom fittings etc but look shabby now. Clearly maintenance is not the priority. The other missing thing is adequate signage to the Resort. You have to drive down a narrow path and then actually drive 200 m across the Beach to get to the Resort. But unless you know the way you will have a hard time getting there. There is no signage at the end of the narrow path and you won't know if you should get down onto the Beach with your vehicle or not. However, the staff are very friendly and service is good and prompt.

Main Plus point : just in front of beach ⛱. At evening you can spend / enjoy your time in front of sea in open platform ( except moonsoon -as roof cover of open platform has been destroyed by amphan/ yash) It's situated little bit interior position , so at evening it is quite difficult to reach the local market .but resort is quite fair. But improvement in terms of room service and food delivery are to be developed. You have to come out from home to contact resort person and no bell ring system is available. Do not expect high class facility but you can stay thre for 1 or two days easily with family.

We booked a premium indulgence room which had a great view of the Beach. It is a pet friendly Massara Beach Resort. My beagle had a great time. Its better to check-in after 2:30 pm and check out by 10 am due to high tide. The access road is through the beach. Also the last stretch of concrete road is about 500 m and only 1 car can pass. However intercom was not working. In spite of these small negatives its a thumbs up for those traveling with pet and those who want a great view and prefer a quiet beach for a weekend getaway. Manager and staff are very helpful. Food is average.

Location Is excellent. But its little. Far From The Main Road. The Road between Main road And our Resort. Is Not Develop. Ed. Yet. . But the. Resort Is Excellent. Our deluxe rooms. Were Very Nice. All the Building Is Well Furnished. The high stand to See the Ocean Is Nice and The Experience to See. The Ocean abd The Beach Is Excellent. Food Quality Is Also Nice But Its some extent. Very expensive. It's My Honest Review. Overall I Suggest My Friends And Relatives and All Viewers just Go to The Massara. Beach Resort And Enjoy Your Vacations. Thank you.

Location is very good. Got allotment in cottage which is also good. Ac is chilled. Sea view rooms are 2. The area for relaxation is my favourite. Best for spending long hours with your loved one. Food is very good. Restaurant area is having ample space with arrangement of 24 persons sitting, which is good for social distancing. Ample car parking space. Entry to the Massara Beach Resort is from the beach, which is difficult specifically for vehicles, from 11 am to 2 pm and from 9 pm to 5 am due to high tide at sea. Overall experience is satisfied.

Rooms are well claened n hygiene of entire Massara Beach Resort is well maintained the variety of food provided is limited. Can add another items to menu. Food served is good.

location is good, but too close to the sea. During tide waves are hitting the front rooms directly and those rooms are vibrating. The food tastes good but the number of items is limited. n Need to add more variety. There are no bells or phones in the room for room service.

The Resort is nestled about 3km away from the main Beach. The club area of the Resort is jutted out in the Beach. You have to drive a bit through the Beach to reach the Resort. The food was just okay, could have been better. The Resort is a very well thought out project but the upkeep was not that evident. Anyways, nice place to stay for a one or two nighters.

Location of the resort was very good. Even food and behaviour of the resort staff and manager was very good. Only issue was there was some electric issue in our room with frequent power cuts, and the matress of the bed was not good. Rest everything was very nice

Its an awesome experience with good location. Resort is just near to sea beach. Food is good as well.

This is one of the few properties that are pet-friendly. They charge a nominal amount per day per pet. It should be the responsibility of the pet owners to clean up after their pet finishes their business. It is adjacent to the beach however entry with vehicle will be restricted during high tide. Courteous and polite staff. A great place to spend the weekend.

Apt location for a short trip, less crowded, nice ambience and amazing sea beach view from the lobby. Service was very friendly and well behaved. Talking about the food, it’s very healthy and similar like home made food.

Staff are helpful though cleanliness is what they need to improve on. Rooms can be cleaner, better doormats etc.
