We got the deal with amazing price for two rooms. That's the reason i always trust mm t for all my travel and Mermaid Resorts & Banquets booking. You will get the best deal with mmt. It was a wonderful stay with the resort. Rooms are we'll mentained and clean. Don't go with the name. It's not compact. The room we stayed 503 a d 504 is bigger in size. They have two swimming pool that nice. Children's enjoyed a lot but they need to clean it every day morning before people started using. Trees are surrounded so leaf are continuously going inside pool but they are not cleaning properly. And we wonder when they stopped us to take photos inside the resort with dig i cam. Is it a world heritage place or what? that spoil t our mood in the morning when we came out to take some morning pic with the greenery for our kid. They said if want to take pic in camera charges will apply, we said that's fine but they said 5k for 1 hour photoshoot that to be we are talking pic with our camera. I didn't understand this concept, we came to a resort not to just have food in the evening and check out in the morning by paying such a amount for night stay. They have check in time at 2 pm so you have to take your food outside and come then by the time you reach, you know the weather in chennai so you check in and sleep in side your room then next day have your breakfast and check out at 12 am sharp again before lunch. Ha ha i am a good reviewer and i travel-ling through out the country but found the 1st resort in india who stopped people to take pic in digi cam. They said you can take pic in mob. Don't know the logic behind. If management can ans this, it would be great for others. I am curious to know the logic behind. No doubt food was delicious and justify the amount we paid for food. Morning buffet breakfast was awesome with veriety of food. Idli, uttapam, idiyappam, upma, bada, boiled egg, fruit salad, fruit juice, bread butter, and live dosa counter, and sweet too and taste was super.

I had to come to chennai for office work in jun e for 2 weeks and i took my family to save them from sweltering delhi heat. We had already stayed at pondy before coming to mermaid resort. For us, a family of 4 with 2 small kids, bed size and bathroom was the most important criteria. We checked from photographs and there was no bathroom photos for the room category we selected. So we ended up selecting other size room and we thought the baths will be similar somewhat even with different layout. We were in rude shock when we reached Mermaid Resorts & Banquets. The base room was having 80s era of bathrooms and should be avoided at all costs. We requested for the change in room but were told very high prices. After staying one night l, my wife said she would rather go back than stay in this Mermaid Resorts & Banquets. I again checked with Mermaid Resorts & Banquets staff and they said they will check with manager again. After third time checking they upgraded us to a semi-premium room without any cost but there the bed was smaller as queen size. Realising we don’t have much choice, we accepted the room. For next 4 days we kept sleeping awkwardly. Additional mattress was available at around 900+taxes per night which ofcourse we denied to take. Food and resort is good, staff is courteous. Sports facility etc that they say is useless. Bar and restsruant is good for the price. Location is little awkward. For couple only and overnight stay, take the chamber room. For anything above 1 day stay or more than 3 members (kid or otherwise, go for premium room only. For coming to resort experience always choose premium rooms. Morning breakfast is ok.

Neat room, great service user the room wad neat and customer service was good. Food was delicious. Elaborate above chatgpt the room was impeccably neat, demonstrating a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail. The Mermaid Resorts & Banquets staff ensured that the room was well-maintained, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for guests. From the neatly made bed to the tidy arrangement of furniture and accessories, it was clear that cleanliness and organization were priorities. The customer service provided by the Mermaid Resorts & Banquets staff was exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and accommodating, making sure that all the needs and requests of the guests were met promptly. We had a great day with family members and kids enjoyed lot Wonderful atmosphere and lots of beautiful natures inside the campus and very clean surroundings The staffs are so polite and friendly except the Reception staff who works in the morning shift… We know one thing that first impression is the best impression but they fail in that because of the Reception Manager.. He asked everyone ID Proof for check in formality and made us to wait more than one hour even we provided 3 ids out of 4 family members. He talked very rude and replied if you provide I will do check in formality or else cancel and move out. At last we provided the IDs for all family members and checked in. Apart from this we had a good time and food was really delicious and affordable. I will suggest this resort for a pleasant visit and enjoy the atmosphere. My advise please hold ID proof of adults if you go with 2 or 100 members Or else strict officer won’t allow you

Had a pleasant stay with my family It’s a beautiful resort filled with mango and jackfruit trees You might get lucky and get some fallen mangoes 🥭 Overall the stay was good with lot of amenities to keep us and the kids busy - cycling , swimming , rain shower, duck and bird watching Delicious food with good serving quantity friendly staff and good room service. Few things that the resort can work upon - 1) we booked chamber room but it needs renovation , thanks to the management we were able to upgrade to premium room with some added cost ( that’s newly built with all modern facilities ) .. to be honest the chamber room was a bit depressing 😕. 2) breakfast buffet had less variety (70% menu repeated daily) . Breakfast menu can be improved 3) Kids park - it needs maintenance and light facility .. the park was dark in certain corners

Got good deal on make my trip one day stay on weekday. Check in 2pm check out:12am. Less crowded and enjoyed lot. Swimming pool no time restriction morning 8am to 6pm available. Don't miss the shower and cycling. Food at restaurant little costly but worthy. Hospitality not up to the mark and no welcome drink and not explained what are the activities available at resort. We seen few of them playing shuttle and cricket that might be available at resort at request basis and closing time at 7 pm. However i suggest to take your personal shuttle if you want play at night after 7 pm and early morning. Night view is awesome and after dinner i loved that relaxed walking and cycling activity

I liked the place. It is clean and neat. All the staff were very friendly and they were ready to fulfill our needs. I went with my family of 5 members and a 5 month old baby. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The swimming pool and cycling were my favourite. Rooms were kept clean and neat. They provide kettle and hair dryer. The food is ok(little expensive )but the morning breakfast buffet is good. The buffet had fresh juices (we had muskmelon and lime), bread butter jam, idly, uthappam, pongal, vada, sambar, 2 chutneys, chicken gravy, payasam and salad. They also had live counters where you can opt for omlet and dosa varieties. Hope a another stay here.

We just wanted to book a resort for a single day during diwali. It is a nice place with open gardens, play space and swimming pool. A cool place in the midst of city wows! food & room just above average but the space exceeded our expectations

There is a large green space here where you may relax and as well as the pool is truly clean and has just the right amount of chlorine. The accommodations were elegant and cosy.

All are good. Rooms are nice and clean. All easy to pick from make my trip is easy to book for reports.

Perfect stay and the location is quite good, enjoyed a lot especially cycling and swimming pool overall the stay was exceptional.

Excellent room with balcony and attentive reception. Prompt service. But buffet is average. Very big lawn with children to play

Previously we stayed there in august 2023. It is very nice place to stay because of the surroundings with greenery. Food is delicious and the services given by staff and management are very nice

Check in was smooth inspite of reaching late night. Property surrounding was good however mosquito issues are their. Breakfast was good and they supported by starting bit early at 7: 30 am with very limited choice however from 8 am it was having more items. Room of improvement is possible to start breakfast bit early. Overall good experience
