MPT Kutni Island Resort

The mp tourism's kutni resort is a lovely location with each room overlooking the backwaters of the kutni dam. We stayed here for one night on new year's eve. We absolutely fell in love with the place. Despite being a government owned resort the facilities are excellent. The staff is friendly and eager to please. A mention on the food - for the new year party they had arranged a superb spread (we are vegetarians). They had called in a couple of local women who were providing hot bajra "rotlis" off the ovens. With the chilled atmosphere and organic gud and the vegetables it was closest to gastronomic heaven that i have come across. The buffet lunch and breakfast spreads were pretty good too(though limited variety) but obviously it was overshadowed by the superb dinner. All in all it was a magical experience for us.

Katni island resort by mp tourism is 14 kms away from khajuraho temple complex. It's great place to unwind yourself with your family. Activities like pedal boating, sikara boating and speed boating are only of their kind in whole of central india. Staff are very attentive and the food is truly three star. Moreover it's really value for money return. The picturesque water reservoir just besides the cottages gives the feeling that one is living in boat cottages in dal jheel of kashmir at throw away prices. I booked it from make my trip. Fooding is cheap but if buy from the property directly. Keep goggle map handy to reach it.

The resort provides a unique feel as it is right on the ahores of rives kutni, and the mornings and the evenings in the beautifully constructed property are even more serene as it has peace and isolation from the rest of the world. The bird life on sight here is an additional feel, and the boating experience on the calm waters of katni are great if you want some time away from the rush

Excellent location, well maintained property. Best for spending afternoon to morning. Not much to do during daytime. But most suitable as a base for visiting places like khajuraho, kalinjar fort, rohan falls, etc. Best place for rest and recuperation. Though not much variety of food available, but food is decent and hygienic. Staff are cordial and helpful.

One of the best locations around kutni dam, facilities inside property were great and specious, food was ok ok but the staff and their behaviour was very good. Would definitely recommend katni island resort to anyone whether you are a solo traveler or traveling with family/friends or a group. It was an amazing stay there and their hospitality was awesome.

Located on an island in an artificial lake. Beautiful views. Exterior architecture is also impressive. On the inside the rooms are typical of a government run place, neat and clean with almost all practical amenities. But those looking for a luxurious room should look else where. Suggestion: try the chicken manpasand and india fish curry when you here

Staying at the resort in itself was an amazing experience overall. The location, room, the decor of the room, balcony with lake view, garden, the whole concept was excellent. And a specific positive thing that should be highlighted here is, there was ramp for wheelchair, which made my family's visit way comfortable.

Stay was excellent, in all respects. Beautiful place, far from the madding crowd. Lots of photo-ops all around. Courteous staff. Very clean property. Good food. Prompt service. But yes, one minor inconvenience i will like to mention: wifi is available only around reception, not in rooms which are at a distance.

The location is fantastic. Not too far from khajuraho either. Rooms are clean and comfortable with fantastic views. Service is good, staff are friendly and courteis. Food is good.

Below average. Nothing to do boring. Pathetic break fast. Not at all worth money. Please don't waste your money here.

All service is excellent and food is awesome but improvement in one side is that you should exceed more cottage so that people have no problem with cottage. There should be 10 more cottages at-least

बहुत ही मनमोहन दृश्य है कुटनी आइसलैंड रिसोर्ट का। वहां का मौसम और दृश्य ऐसा है आपको वहां से जाने का मन ही नहीं करेगा। वहां के सारे स्टाफ बहुत ही कोऑपरेटिव है। रूम भी आउटस्टैंडिंग है। अगर आप खजुराहो जाने की सोचते हैं तो यह पूरा दिन वहां के लिए रखें। वहां पर वोटिंग सुविधा उपलब्ध है इस राइड को लेना ना भुले।
