MTDC Velneshwar

This property is located on the lake and because of that this is the best place for relaxation. Manager onkar oak is very welcoming with pleasing personality and all staff members are always ready to help you with a smile on face. Property is surrounded by various trees like coconut, mangoes etc. I will strongly recommend this place as food taste is awesome too. As this property is centrally located you can explore all the nearby places like crocodile safari, hedvi ganesh temple, vyadeshwar temple, durga devi temple and guhagar beach, velaneshwar temple and beach, etc. Also suitable for families as restaurant serves the tasty food as per instructions of the customers.

The location of this mtdc is perfect. It sits high on a hill, so from that vantage point you get a clear view of the horizon. The trawlers appear to be tiny as they stroll on the massive sea. The sound of the waves compliments the whole view so perfectly. The rooms are big, but need some maintenance at a few places. There are no restaurants around, so you have to stick to the mtdc MTDC Velneshwar. I found the pricing to be a bit on the higher side. The taste is ok, nothing extra ordinary. If you're willing, then you can walk to the MTDC Velneshwars near the velaneshwar temple. That will be a better option.

The location of this MTDC Velneshwar is very nice. The food is also good. The only drawback is as it is on hilltop area there is lot of walking on the hills of you get room in the top. Also restaurant and parking is located far from these rooms so if you ja e problem walking on such area i would not recommend staying here. If this is not a problem this is a best option for stay to explore nearby places like hedavi temple, velaneshwar temple and guhagar. As none of other places have these kind of MTDC Velneshwars.

All cottages are very spacious and have direct sea facing. Since the property is at elevation of about 100 feet the sea view is magnificent. The beach is also at walkable distance. The wash room and interiors are fairly decent and clean. You can not expect luxurious furnishings at this price but there is nothing to put you off. Homely food is served as per your order. The rates are quite low. And taste wise it was fairly ok and typical kokan style. Do not expect multi cuisine food you normally get in metros.

Excellent location with sea facing rooms and balconies. Children's play area is there. Sea is 200 meters down hill so you will have walk a little. Rooms are pretty big with basic amenities. The restaurant and house keeping services are pretty average with lot of scope of improvement. There are very few 2-3 places around which serves delicious home cooked veg and non veg local food. However don't expect non-local food options.

The stay was wonderful, rooms are clean yes it's a mtdc kind of room so you should not compare it with 3 or 4 star MTDC Velneshwar even this one will say it's 3 star. Toilet was clean. Had a big view of the sea from my gallery with a big window. Had booked a ac room which was great thing i did i guess. It's too hot here. You also have a tv. Food you do not much choice they have non veg but the taste is fabulous.

The view from the resort is awesome. Play area for kids. Beach is a bit away from the resort. The rooms are big and okayish. Beach is incredible. Clean and clear water. Do not expect professional services and behavior from the staff. Food (both veg and non-veg were nice. But limited staff cannot manage the crowd on weekends. Better to give the order for food in advance to avoid inconvenience.

The beautiful resort of MTDC in nestled amidst greenary n coconut tree. The local caretaker Mr.Swapnil Pawar and his team has taken good care of resort and food yummy. The fish thali is worth attempting. The weather, ambience, location, food everything was perfect for our school friends GT and we enjoyed our stay.Price are little on higher side but still manageable.

Good seaview property, nice people, big rooms faced lot of problems with google location so, advice, keep asking people to ensure that you are on right track. Property need proper maintenance especially bathroom and floor tiles.
