MVT Guest House & Restaurant Rishikesh

Rishikesh was overbooked during 3 days holiday and MVT were really courteous and welcoming at 0200 am in morning when I reached there after a six hour drive from Gurugram. Check was smooth and stay comfortable although hot water faucet had to pressed continuously for shower bath . I ordered Gulab jamun which was just about average Location wise and view wise highly recommended could not try their restaurant service as lot of eateries are availabile just outside. Food I heard is without onion and Garlic. check out extremely quick. Transportation in Rishikesh is a big challenge on holidays as Autos charged 10 times and 3 km distance cost Rs 300. Ample parking available at the site for personal vehicles. Overall rate 8 out of 10

Mvt was a nice place to stay, stayed in deluxe room and it was quite good, washrooms were hygienic but rooms didn't have refrigerator and television which were missing, but since it was vacation trip so didn't feel need of tv but fridge should have been there. Additionally, there was ample amount of greenery which gives refreshing feel and sitting areas in the garden and also a swinging seat (jhoola, also a first floor sitting area for anyone from where one could get a nice view of resort, it's greenery and mountain view. The swimming pool was also clean and photos in the pool having mountain background is a treat to instagram's profile lol.

There are a lot of pluses such as good garden view, spacious rooms, big washroom and good staff behaviour. However, at the price paid, you expect a MVT Guest House & Restaurant Rishikesh to have good amenities and be able to cater to your needs. The restaurant remains closed from 3-6. 30pm and they won’t pick your call however times you may call up even if you need water or tea. Face towels and tea sachets aren’t available. Usually in MVT Guest House & Restaurant Rishikeshs there are two plug points on both sides of the bed, but here they’ve just one. The food options are also limited.

1. Price is on higher side ~5k/night) considering the smaller room size, no balcony and no tv. 2. Wi-fi, was not reliable. 3. The path to the room was through iron stairs and they were connecting the rooms via an iron bridge. 4. The staff was polite and supportive, we were traveling with a 6 year old, and upon request they did make the orders without chilli. 5. Pool was nice and clean. 6. Hare krishna kirtan on saturday evening was a nice surprise. 7. Food quality and taste was good. 8. Garden that they had was quite spacious and nice. One can dine outdoors.

So i visited this place for two days on 19th of jun e 2022 but due to some problems i had to cancel the stay for one day. The mvt staff did everything on their behalf to help me out and even guided me and gave instant approval on cancellation. Food here is pretty awesome (without onion and garlic. Location of this property is good, view from the place is amazing, the property itself has a lot of greenery, but there is a 100 metre steep incline to reach the place which could be challenging for senior citizens. Safety is good.

Mvt is an oasis in chaos of Tapovan Rishikesh . Entire team including Mr Kamal & Mr Upendra are very courteous and helpful. Food is homely & tasty (only Indian and Chinese was available) . Garden is well maintained. Rooms are spotlessly clean . Hotel is very near to Laxman Jhula & Tapovan market . I would recommend a pick up and drop facility for guests till Balaknath temple since resort is on a slight hill ,this would be a boon for senior citizens. Hare Krishna 🙏

I went to rishikesh with my family and with brother’s family. We took 2 super deluxe rooms at mvt. I must acknowledge the beauty of this property. It has lush green areas with a very well maintained swimming pool. We enjoyed thoroughly at this property. The staff was very diligent and courteous. The menu was a little less than expected but the food quality was good. Over all our experience was excellent. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting rishikesh

Upon looking for a MVT Guest House & Restaurant Rishikesh i chanced upon mvt, rishikesh. The people greeted me smilingly with other staff kind and helpful as well. The room was enormous and met a grand standard when compared to other luxurious MVT Guest House & Restaurant Rishikeshs. The washroom was extremely clean with every modern amenities one usually require as a traveller! all in all, it was a wonderful experience staying in mvt. Thank you so much!

The MVT Guest House & Restaurant Rishikesh's location is good. It's near laxman jhula. Parking is also available at the MVT Guest House & Restaurant Rishikesh. Rooms were clean. Food was hygienic and tasty.

Nice property with amazing sunrise view

Excellent property with lots of greenery, location is also good if you don’t mind walking a little. Rooms were also clean and tidy. Better than an expensive MVT Guest House & Restaurant Rishikesh that we went to after this in rishikesh. Totally worth it.
