Nature Camp Konark

Peaceful stay, food menu requires more variety, rooms are overpriced

Everything was nice. The location was peaceful. Property ambiance, services were very nice. Food was good but a bit costly. Also, they can provide room service. Staffs were helpful and cooperative.

The location of the property was easily accessible. The surrounding's location of the property were peaceful and safe. The staffs were very courteous and humble. The food was an average one. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The property is highly recommended for others.

It was hopeless when we check in they demanded money whereas we paid for 4 guest family.

Good hotel room and cordial staff, Camp fire, nice

This place is about 12 km from the Konark Bus Stand. The name of the village is Khalakata Patna and one of the landmarks is Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple. The staff is very kind and there is a black Labrador called Shadow who will greet you like he has known you forever. The food is really delicious. I ate a veg thali both times.

We were the only two people staying on the day of our visit. Location is not that good. Service and hospitality by the staff was good. Totally secluded place. No backup for light is available. Food served was good. Nothing special to be mentioned. People visiting this place better to go with vehicle as we did.

We have booked Two rooms on Jan 26th. There is only one person named Laxmidhara for this entire so called resort. He is the sole in charge, including manager to room boy with cooking. He, himself told us which are the food he can able to cook and we should choose from his list. Food are worst quality with oily and spicy as no specialist cook is available but also too costly. He argued and misbehaved us when complaint about services. The rooms were dusty, not cleaned and virtually no room services at all. The location is not good one with poor ambience full of mosquito. There is nothing like boating, surfing, sports available as mentioned in the web site. I will request the makemytrip team to inspect the site before including in their chain. We have a strong belief/ trust on MMT but we betrayed by the resort.

Nature camp is 1. 5 km from ramchandi beach and near about 10 km from Chandrabhaga beach and 11 km from konark sun temple. Those who want to reconnect nature of is a place to be in. It has 8 tents and if you are lucky enough like me you will be the only visitor there and service standard will be very high. If it will to full capacity need to check the service capacity.

Nature Camp Konark Retreat is having a very good location. Must have own conveyance arrangement. Konark temple is around 12 KM far but I was told only 2 KM. However, I love forest, I love loneliness and because of which I like this location. Staff are very cordial. They made all arrangement for me to see the Konark Classical Dance Festival, 2016 on 04. 12. 16. I never forget Chadu the black labrador who also took care of us and got depressed when we were returning. A little bit repairing of all the camps are required. Foods are very costly but not up to the mark. I will stay here again because of the location and the pleasant behaviour of the staff.

With no security features. With only one dim light inside room.. Only one attendant for 7 rooms who takes care of everything.. From food to carrying luggage to marketing... Just horrible to stay. Food is very bad.. Tent house... Not maintained properly... Not cleaned regularly... No TV set in any of rooms.. Just horrible experience... Hard to spend night time.. With darkness all around...
