Nimmu House

Heading through the narrow lanes of gokarna, when you start drawing equivalence of the place to varanashi, there awaits a plea-sent surprise for you in the form of gokarna beach. While big and spacious gokarna beach brings a refreshing change in you, equally refreshing will be your stay in nimmu house. Located very near to gokarna beach, the property deserves an all star rating. We enjoyed every bit of our stay in nimmu house - be it the affable hosting, be it viewing the crashing waves from the balcony or be it the gourmet food. Left the place with an out of the world feeling and with a plan to visit the place again. Done.

The Nimmu House was located at a very peaceful and safe place. We could experience a beautiful view of the Sea from our room's balcony. Our main reason to come to Gokarna was to visit the temple and as the Nimmu House was very close to the temple we saved a lot of time. The food from the Nimmu House's restaurant wasn't that great and as it is situated on the top floor, old people will have a hard time climbing the stairs. The Nimmu House management was very generous to allow us to stay for an hour more after checkout. Alltogether it was a great experience staying at Nimmu House.

We booked an ac room with a sea facing balcony for 2 nights, and the room and washroom were neat and clean. The only problem we faced was noise from adjacent room or corridor in late night and from the restaurant above our room in early morning. They have a common water purifier for hot and cold drinking water. They have a spacious parking area. They have a restaurant on the 2nd floor and the food was okish, since you don't find good restaurants in gokarna you ended up having food in the Nimmu House itself mostly. It is very near to gokarna main beach and mahabaleshwar temple.

Nimmu house is a 2 min walk to gokarna beach and the place is extremely simple but clean and comfortable with all the required amenities. Although it was diwali day and we reached late for lunch the restaurant guy stayed back and got food ready for us which was a plus! overall a good stay and would recommend the place

The place is at extremely reasonable prices considering the location, beachside view and availability of facilities. The rooms are clean and the restaurant is right upstairs which makes it very convenient. The staff are very helpful and provide any extra items asked for.

Pros- It is budget to stay with beach view, car parking. Peaceful and near to the main market. Cons: Non-AC room is very small in size and old. No water for drinking provided. Twin single bed, not one large bed, Mosquito nets are not there in windows.

Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. It is located near main beach so there won't be any problem to find auto. Overall if you are travel-ling in a group i would definitely suggest you to give this a shot.

Stay at nimmu was excellent- good and prompt service, good food, staff is very hospitable and friendly, location is feasible. Overall excellent service and we enjoyed the stay !

The tarrif was on high side. They could have avoided serving eggs as this place is very very close to the holy temple. Very close to the sea.
