Oriole Resort Mysore By Emerge

Where to start - if you are a perfectionist expecting prompt and timely service, avoid this resort for a few months. Windflower resorts next door have taken over this place and the merger process is not planned quickly or smoothly. The reception staff themselves are aware of this and try to help as much as they can but still there are some inconveniences that cannot be avoided. Location is good - even with the lack of directions. With GPS and a cab driver familiar with the local area, we managed to reach the right place and after that I could easily guide all taxi (uber/ola) drivers myself. Room is good - nice and comfy. But service is not prearranged like in most resorts where they prepare in advance for the arrival of the guests. The night staff did not know what facilities were available for guests and what was not. WiFi does not exist separately, it is part of the windflower network and we did not get access till the day after we checked in, once the day staff at the reception (the night staff or room service do not know about this much) contacted the right people to provide us access. No express room service as everything comes from windflower, so don't wait till you are hungry to order food. Order beforehand. On the other hand, if you are comfortable with walking, you get a discount if you go all the way to the windflower restaurant. Water is not always hot - probably solar heated as explained in one of the other reviews. The location is excellent. Not too far from the airport or the city, a little way off the main road in between the two. Taxi s are available. The precooked or phone booked taxis quote double price - be ready to bargain or just book an Ola cab and wait some time. The Chamundeshwari temple is not too far either. Overall - it is worth the money if you can live with the minor inconveniences.

We booked Room at Oriole resort managed by Windflower for New Year and it was awesome experience being part of New Year event at Windflower. Event was well organized and well managed. Food was tasty and lot of options. Dance floor, DJ with Punjabi theme based dhol made the event more colourful along with the games which were hosted well. Overall a great new year party and stay. Full marks from me. Umesh from Oriole was so friendly and responded to all our queries. Manager Mr. Nylesh was so courteous to arrange things we requested for. N. V Rao from management was so friendly that he took care of my kid for a while and encouraged us to dance on the floor. This displays that management is so concerned and about customers. I don't remember all the staff name's but Rajesh and all other staffs were friendly and courteous to take care of our needs during the event. Definitely a resort to visit again.

This resort shares the boundary with the more well-known windflower resort. We visited this resort on 24th June and stayed there for 2 nights. The approach road is not good but that's only 50 mts. The restaurant was undergoing renovation when we were there. One of the options is to visit the restaurant @windflower or else have it outside. The location is very good. Near to Palace/Zoo/Mysore Mall. The facilities like swimming pool, spa etc are shared with windflower resort which is actually a good thing as you get to enjoy the facilities on a budget. Ample space for car parking is available. The resort itself is nice with cottage type rooms. We stayed in Room 9 and it had a massive balcony. The rooms are quite big and spacious. Overall satisfied with what the resort had to offer for the price we paid. Booked through MMT and got a good price.

Stayed here only for a day and that too only for a night and a few morning hours as we were transiting out of Mysore so not much to write. But the Oriole Resort Mysore By Emerge location is good and the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff service is same (as good as) as the neighboring Windflower as they appear to be managing this Oriole Resort Mysore By Emerge as well. The rooms open up into a garden so okay place to just sit in the veranda for a relaxing morning after breakfast . The Oriole Resort Mysore By Emerge location is at the base of Chamundi hills so despite being within a couple of kms of to all the attractions (palace/zoo etc. It is still remarkable quiet and peaceful . Overall, would be nice economical place to stay if you were looking to explore Mysore .

Though it is called oriole resorts, it is a mini Windflower Resort minus the in-house restaurant since it has a back door entry directly to all the facilities to its parent Resort. The rooms very decent with basic facilities. The view of Chamundi hills from the place of stay is pleasant in the morning. The in-house restaurant at-least for a free breakfast will add value to this place. Overall few things are good and few things can be further improved including the access road to the place through for a very short distance.
The free accessibility to windflower resort facility including the restaurant was a plus. However the road leading to this place (a very short stretch) is not good. Can be improved.

It was nice stay and staff were co-operative as well. Room is big enough, it is surrounded by green area. I am not sure if they have room service but there is a restaurant within its campus as it is merging with Windflower Resort. Map doesn't show correct way. If you are navigating through map, better search for Windflower resort. Oriole's entry gate is next to Windflower. You won't immediately get any transport right outside resort but if weather is good you can walk a little or try if any online cab is around. Overall nice stay.

When i booked this resort, i wasn't expecting much. But it was more than expected. The rooms are large and cozy. The bathroom made me take a shower three times because of the comfort, the staffs are super friendly. There is a large hill that can be viewed from here and when you go out for a walk, you can see the fog on that hill. There is an opportunity to take a massage here. We couldn't because we were travel-ling out too much. The Oriole Resort Mysore By Emerge is super environmental friendly.

The stay was good, the room was spacious and clean. Room service has to be concentrated more. Adding a buffet breakfast would be more effective.
The room was good, spacious, clean and the location also was good. It has been taken over by windflower resort so you can use the facilities available at windflower like swimming pool, spa, indoor games etc. The indoor games was not good. The swimming pool was amazing and the stay was peaceful and calm. WiFi was bad this has to be rectified.

Nice place for family stay. Budget is moderate. Place is located near to city and gives scenic views of chamundi hill.

The resort is great in term of room size, property set up. Mr ishwar reception is great person. Resort without restaurant is very difficult to enjoy stay.

It was a good experience overall. However as the property is now taken over by Windflower resorts, there is no restaurant service available for the time being. Otherwise, the place, cleanliness is very good and the staff are very courteous. Would definitely recommend this place to others without any reservations.

Plus points: rooms are big and spacious. Outside the room you have a lovely garden with nice walking space. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Gave a feeling of living in the nature improvements needed: they need to have their own restaurant/coffee shop. Since it is away from city, you need to travel 5kms for a nearest restaurant. Of course there is one auto driver helps in getting food and other stuff. Overall: nice atmosphere

On 25th seep 2023 i reserved one double bed room in this oriole resort mysore. Good stay, decent location, rooms are very neat and clean, rooms are very big. I stayed with family one night only for lice agents meeting in mysore. The Oriole Resort Mysore By Emerge staff arranged transport facilities to the chamumdeswari temple and palace. I recommend this Oriole Resort Mysore By Emerge for general public.

Resort and the staff is nice. It's best for the people coming with family to spend quality time. Zomato and swiggy are easily available plus breakfast lunch / dinner options are now available. Beautiful view of chamundi hills too

It was a good experience. Stuff are friendly and welcoming. They checked on us now and then. Even asked about my preference. Tithe property is beautiful. The only set back was when we went the ac was not working properly and fan's regulator didn't work. Though they sent someone and almost fixed the problem so we could manage.

The place is near the race course. The property is spacious and the rooms too. Great place to stay as a couple or family or friends. I would definitely love to visit again.

Very pleasant and nice property. Loved the rooms and the green lawn outside. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Food and location is good. Rooms are well maintained but room service for food and drinks is not available.
