Rain Home Stay

I would have rated this property 200 out of 100 if that was possible. This homestay is a beautiful serene property amid lush of green. The owner of the homestay is so welcoming and courteous that you would feel that you are staying in your grandparents' house. We reached the homestay around 6:30 am in the morning and he was waiting for us at the entrance. The dos a made in the breakfast was extremely delicious. Uncle (this is what i was calling the owner) arranged artificial rain along with rainbow around 10 am in the morning with the song of our choice playing in the background. The entire garden was looking even more beautiful with the artificial rain. There is a place in the garden where you can sit, relax and have your morning tea. My mom liked the property so much that she was asking me to extend the stay over there. Locationwise also, it is only 4 km from beach and railway station. You can take an auto and reach either beach or station in 10-12 minutes and the auto charge is around rs. 100. I would definitely recommend this property to everyone who is planning to visit alleppey.

We had the good fortune of staying at the Rain Homestay, a beautiful home stay, that's right in the middle of lush greenery and a beautiful street. The room was very clean and there were all the amenities to make us feel comfortable and cared for. The hosts were so amicable and went out of the way to drop us at the station early in the morning. They readied breakfast for us before 6 am as we had a train at 6.45am Their care and hospitality is heartwarming and makes you feel as though you're staying with your own family :) The hosts treated us like their own daughters, and even offered to help us with arrangements for travel and rides. It is difficult to find people like these in these times, who are naturally concerned about your wellbeing and genuinely care, to make you feel comfortable. I hope more people go and stay at this lovely place and enjoy their wonderful hospitality.

I fall short of words trying to describe how loving and welcome you feel in this home away from home. the rooms and the property at large was impeccably clean and equipped with features you wouldn't dream of in this price range. I booked a deluxe plus which had a large sized room with ensuite bathroom, equipped with a bath tub! your breakfast and morning tea/ coffee needs are catered to with utmost care, and you get two loving hosts to keep you company and engaged in conversation while at it. A speciality of rain homestay is the year round rain capability using sprinkler places in the roof all around the property. the best place to enjoy it is on a extension constructed from the main balcony, which is a cozy place surrounded by greenery, one of my favourite aspects about this property. In short, if you are in alappuzha, rain homestay is the way to go♥️

Rain homestay is a tastefully and innovatively built homestay located very near to the jetty and main market. Departmental store, medicine shops were nearby and railway station was not very far away. The environment of the homestay was really green and the hosts were very hospitable. They prepared the breakfast themselves and showed around the house as well. The breakfast was included in the package and was very tasty, the room was big and clean and hosts took care to provide separate towels and mosquito repellent. Hot water was also available for showering. I am not sure if they have a non ac room option (didn't get it while booking on mmt) but that would be helpful as the weather was fine and i think it is possible to stay in a non ac room in november. Overall, i will definitely recommend this homestay.

The place is walkable from the center of city. It’s a calm and quite and host are very much caring. I couldn’t express in words about the hospitality that i received from them. The landlord himself pick me up and dropped early in the morning at 4:30am thinking i shouldn’t get any trouble. Though the place is walkable distance from the ymca circle in which i got down. Breakfast was too good. It made the food more tasty with the love they served. I much appreciate and sincere thanks to the hosts.

Amazing hosts, they were very friendly and family-like. Very clear and beautiful place to stay. It is recommended to stay here. The Rain Home Stay stands on what is shown. Rain homestay. You can see rain and a little forest along with a feeling that you are at home. The place was clean and cozy. The washrooms were huge. If you are looking for a comfy place to stay at a reasonable price, then this is the place for you. The host were very good and made an amazing breakfast at home

Perfect experience at rain home stay. Uncle and aunty was so caring and was always a call away. Clean and hygiene room with all basic amenities. They have maintained a huge garden with pathway if you want to have a feeling of surrounded by lush greenery. The highlight is the artificial rain sprinkler they have setup to recreate the feel of rain. Breakfast was yummy made with love by aunty herself. Thank you so much for the love and hospitality.

I and my mom could not have hoped for a better place to stay and moreover a great couple who treated us like family. They went out of their way to pick us up and helped us in every way possible from renting a bike to providing a fulfilling and delicious breakfast. They tended to our every need and we would recommend nothing but this homestay to anyone visiting alleppey. Their warmth and love knows no bounds. Can't wait to be back.

Stay at place was excellent but boat house arranged was little down grade in terms of food served, aunty as always is super amazing host through out our journey and recommend all to give try if in Alleppey😊

Our stay was great. Hosts were amazing. We felt as if we are family. Cleanliness was perfect. Location was perfect for us too. Food was delicious...all homemade & fresh. You will get a mini rainforest feeling from the artificial rain effect, tree-house space, & a mini forest like area all inside the premise ! Overall, a beautiful homely experience for us both. Thanks a bunch to the kind hosts 🙏❤️

This Rain Home Stay is magnificent the name is rain home stay and also actually having original rain it's a miracle if u don't believe then come and stay and you feel the scene and the owner of Rain Home Stay is very cool and normal as your friend so my opinion is is you coming alleypay then stay here

It was a pleasant stay. The hosts make you comfortable and are there 24*7 for you. The rooms were cozy, the surroundings were full of greenery. Both uncle and aunty took great care of us and the breakfast was delicious, aunty is a great cook. Pols go for it and enjoy your stay. Highly recommend to everyone.
