Rhythm Kumarakom

Accommodation (5 stars): We stayed in poolside premium cottage room . We had a lovable experience during our stay. More comfort and privacy they provided during the entire stay. Hospitality (5 stars): starting from security to all very good. We had a very nice experience with their nice response. The best example, on the last day before the vacating room. I request them to clean my car. Initially, they told services not available in the resort. In another 5 minutes they arranged people and they informed your car cleaning taken care of. It shows how they value their customers and they did free of cost is the most important one. Dining (5 stars): Good decent menu for breakfast and taste. Most of the time night ala-carte type only. It’s good and tasty. If we feel food not tasty immediately they are ready to change the food. People served in dinning are awesome at most care taken in dinning. They provided evening tea and snacks in the package. The everyday night we can enjoy the live performances (dance, flute) between 7:30 to 8:15 PM in the dining hall. Swimming pool (5 Star): Resorts offer one of the longest swimming pools with neat and clean. The pool will operate from 8 am to 8 PM every day. The swimming pool is maintained good. Those loving pools this is good choice for you. There are three coconut trees inside the pool. It will be awesome if you include a swimming pool fountain attached to the tree. Children play area (2 stars): Since the area is small, the children's play area is less. The resort provides a small gaming area (TT, carom) and good gym facility. Room cleaning (5 stars): Every day they will do the cleaning. The rooms are very neat and well maintained. Local trip: Everyday resort arranged a one-hour boat trip in the evening 5 to 6 PM free of cost. We can enjoy the sunset. The local trip facility is available, but we are used explored.

Traveled to Kumarakoam with family. Chose park Aveda because of the positive reviews on the internet, and they were concurrent to my experience. We booked two rooms and were given adjacent ones just a few steps from, and overlooking a very long beautiful pool. The bath area was unique with part of it open to the sky, with a mesh cover to prevent insects from coming in. This was a different experience from the usual bathrooms that one might expect, and might I add - a breath of fresh air. Beds and other furniture were as expected for a Rhythm Kumarakom of its class. Porch overlooking the pool with cane chairs was enjoyable and preferred spending time there, than in the room. Had a functional game room with a fairly new table. Tennis table and a carom board. Complimentary boat ride was enjoyable and part of the experience of the resort. Breakfast spread was good with a mix of local kerala, Indian and continental dishes. The best part of the resort however, was the staff - treated guess with genuine hospitality and care, and made everyone of us feel comfortable. Six star service. Overall, gave my family a chance to have a wonderful mini vacation to destress. Would recommend this Rhythm Kumarakom to family and friends.

We had booked our stay for a week during the on-am festival. The rooms provided to us were very much an advantage for us. We got the rooms with wheelchair accessibility and in-room dining option, which was very helpful for my old-age parents. The house-keeping and restaurant staffs were very cordial and helpful. The property is very well maintained especially the swimming pool, the gym as well as the rooms. We also enjoyed the boating trip to vembanad lake. The food served in the restaurant had different menus each day, so kids enjoyed the food and didn't get bored eating the same food during our long stay. The traditional on-am sadhya was served during the on-am festival. We also came across a lot of people from within the state as well as various parts of the country. We also had a great experience in the ayurvedic spa that was provided. Overall, we had a very happy and peaceful stay. The location of the resort near the lake is an advantage for the resort. Thanks for making our stay wonderful !

Pros - the resort is located in an ideal spot, by the lake and allows for amazing views and a peaceful stay. We loved how prompt the staff was for all our needs. Ever smiling managers around the dining area. Given the rooms are spread around well, it doesn't feel too crowded at any point. A complimentary evening boat ride was a big highlight of the stay! rooms are spacious and well endowed with amenities. Food was delicious and a wide spread for the buffet for breakfast and dinner! cons - infrastructural issues are quite evident. They might still be overcoming challenges from the previously owned property but it does impact guest experience. Tiles kept coming off from the swimming pool bed, the showerhead was cracked from the centre, etc. Minor aspects. Overall - would recommend the resort to those looking for affordable luxury

I stayed at villa facing the Vembanadu Lake with lush green garden around and a private swimming pool for my family. The moment I saw it. I loved it! Kids had a gala time enjoying and running around the villa and jumping in the private pool. This private pool comes in handy when you want privacy of your own and can use it according to your wish as the common swimming pool has time restriction from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm only. The dinner spread was very good with lots of variety with dishes containing fish, prawn, chicken, mutton and other seafood specialties. Also have a good mix of local cuisine which is a must when you travel south of India. All in all, a good time spend at the resort.

We had a very serene and relaxed stay at Park Aveda. The location, cleanliness, staff attitude and all were great. The top attraction is the 150m long pool. Food was good albeit a tad expensive which is anyway expected, they provided us with a complimentary boat tour for an hour or so in the backwaters. The resort is not that big. Vaikom temple is nearby at around 15-20 kms, similarly, a bird sanctuary is there at around 2-3 kms from the property. They had maintained the pool very well there is not much to see in Kumarakom apart from the beauty not nature, so it's better to book a resort-like this and have a peaceful time spend away from your work life and all.

The property is strategically located on the banks of backwaters with a great view. All rooms are facing pool but hard luck that the pool is closed due to pandemic. They do have rooms with private pools which you can enjoy at its best. Staffs are polite and very helpful in nature. During evening they arrange for boat ride for the back water where you can enjoy the sunset view and can experience the sunset also. Every rooms have their independent balcony where you can enjoy your evening or morning with a cup of tea or coffee. I felt only the food prices are on the higher side. I would recommend this resort for a leisure trip.

We had booked the poolside room after seeing photos and reviews on google, and we do not regret the booking at all. The property is one of the best maintained properties out here, with a clean and long swimming pool, decent dining place and decent indoor activities. The rooms were well maintained, super clean and had good housekeeping. What made this stay really special was the great hospitality and behaviour displayed by the staff. They always went the extra mile to help us out during our stay. For that sole reason, we would want to be back again at this place soon!

This property has an amazing view with a grand swimming pool. We had a great time here. Apart from breakfast you also get snacks and sunset boat ride as compliments from the Rhythm Kumarakom. Luxurious property with extremely helpful staff!

The place is well maintained. It's clean. The rooms are gorgeous with great amenities. The staff here is courteous. Food taste and quality is excellent. The location is perfect. The view is gorgeous. We had a wonderful and a pleasant stay here.

Good food, pleasant ambience, friendly staff

This was our second visit to this resort. Just excellent. From rooms, to food to free back water ride everythibg is just out of world. Just food here is too costly and there are absolutely no other restaurants around.

I had stayed with family here. Staffs were absolutely helping and very good behavior. Rooms and services was awesome. Only the matter which i don’t like was about food. That was tasty. But very expensive. Anyway i’ll give 9 out of 10.
Total team was outstanding. They’re well bothered about clean and safety. I am very satisfied with their service

Aveda was a perfect place to spend a weekend in kumarakom. They have great property, amazing hospitality, comfortable rooms, awesome food options, a very nice pool with a great view of vembanad lake. We also got high tea and a boat ride as part of the room package which was a wonderful surprise. I would definitely recommend the place for a relaxed stay in kumarakom.

The best hospitality ever experienced, the location, the view is treat to eye. The most important thing the staff is very helpful and courteous. The food is amazing lives upto the mark. The restaurant staff was very helpful. Especially Mr. Shreerenjith looked after us really well. Overall the trip was a the best one till date. Yes.

I stayed one night in the resort. The view from the pool was amazing and the food, prawn mango curry was delicious. Although i could not sleep much because of the sound from next room, i was satisfied with hospitality of the Rhythm Kumarakom staff since they served the welcome drink and arranged the back water program. In addition, they allowed me to late check-out after consideration of my travel schedule.
