Riverwoods | Resort & Restaurant

I will make it short: views are own so others may differ. Pros: good location beside river very close to guchhupani. Lot of birds around and delightful to watch them in the morning. The 6 rooms all face towards the river with a small patio in front to sit and relax looking at the river passing by. Breakfast and lunch/dinner portion is good and taste too to my liking. Owner is always trying to arrange as per request. The room has the basic amenities, towels provided after asking and linen were changed after asked. Bathroom is clean and big. Cleaning behind the tv seems to be missed out in room 103 as it was full of cobwebs. If any group is travel-ling and staying alongside room then your peace will get disturbed a bit. Otherwise you can find peace here, get down on the slow flowing river and wet your feet, rainy season would be different though. The helper will respond to whatever you need and give room service for food and anything. You have the option to sit outside your room and have your meal as extra tables are there. The dining hall area is getting renovated, i hope the best for owner. Its a spot on place for a weekend or few days of tranquility and peace. Cons: the location itself, during weekends the traffic rush is too much and you will be held in jams or dropped off far from the Riverwoods | Resort & Restaurant if the cars are not allowed till Riverwoods | Resort & Restaurant. It happened with us and we had to walk with our luggage for 100mtrs or so. So advise would be reach the Riverwoods | Resort & Restaurant around 11 am on weekends as after that the traffic is too much and the road to approach is very narrow at once place making it one-way for big cars.

Definitely a place to go and relax! the river side resort makes it so peaceful. One can go and sit beside the river and chill there. I will definitely go there again, if given a chance. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

The property is nearest to guccu pani. Pros : adjacent to flowing river. Cons : high traffic jam to reach to the resort. Sometimes need to walk steep 500 meter mountain to reach at resort. Breakfast has limited options, but tasty. Egg, paratha/poori, poha, corn flakes, chai. Food served is not good, need to improve here.

The resort ,set up , by a gurgling river , was the most idyllic stay. The atmosphere was simple and serene , but the rooms were modernized. The host was very warm and approachable and extended all the support to make our stay comfortable. All in all it turned out to be a memorable stay!

Good staff and front view of lake both amazing and near to robbers cave make experience to a very good and mesmerizing.

Location was hopeless as a narrow lane was there and we covered 500 metre in 45 minutes.

Nice location, facing river and 5 minutes walk from Robbers Cave. Staff is friendly and food is delicious. The best part is our pet enjoyed in the river. A good short stay overall 👍
