Royal Omars

Comfortable and safe stay even for lone travelers especially women, good food, great staff, courteous and helpful. Except the tea kettle in the room which wasn't there, everything was up to the mark.
The room was good, the front desk was very good, helpful and caring, as I traveled alone an the strike time in Kannur, they helped me travel with a family travelling to reach to the same conference destination as there weren't any rick or cars for that day, which is appreciated. Breakfast was local and good. There should have been a tea kettle in the room, other wise the Royal Omars matches to a good four star Royal Omars with all the amenities except the tea kettle. The staff was very helpful and courteous, they provided me with mineral water everyday as I was there for four days, unlike the last day I was charged by the manager for one bottle. On the last day as I left early they provided me with a packed breakfast which was good. Overall the stay was Worth for the price and the MakeMyTrip discount that I got.

Hotel is located very near to the Kannur Railway Station at walkable distance. From out side it looks posh. Rooms are very modest. Service is good. Food in the restaurant is tasty and good. Saw many local people staying with family in the Royal Omars. Safe for ladies to stay alone. Room had a bad smell because of lack of air circulation. I had to keep the windows open for some time

The room was fine only. The toiletries provided are a) two towels; b) two bathing soaps; cone shampoos. Please note that only when the room is cleaned you will get one complimentary water bottle for the day, so when you go out, put that room cleaning tag on the outside of the door. The complimentary breakfast is also nice. You can ask for coffee/tea (free) at that time only.

The place is conveniently located and tge rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is friendly and all places of importance are quite nearby, the railway station is just a walk away so is quite few shopping places and markets. The beach and kannur fort can be accessed with an auto from outside the gate of the Royal Omars. The inroom dining menu is good and reasonably priced.

A good Royal Omars, centrally located, for business purpose and for lisure. Very close to Kannur railway station and the bus stand. Onle few hundred meters. Ery polite staff. Rooms are clean. House keeping is available all the time and happily provide any service required. Restaurenet is clean and well arranged. Good food, but little expensive. Food is tastey.

Ideal for business stay, rooms hygiene specially to be mentioned which shows the commitment of Royal Omars towards its customers. Food quality not bad but can be improved . . Location is very attractive walkable distance from Railway Station as well as from Kannur bus terminal . Front office or the reception is good and very spontaneous.

Hotel is located near railway and bus station.Connectivity is good advantage.Hotel has good ambience and is well maintained.Staff are also friendly.Only disappointment is the expensive room service menu which is at double the price compared to eateries nearby.Other than that this Royal Omars is a good option at Kannur.

Overall good experience centrally located and very close to railway station. Easy access to auto or bus terminals if required. What could probably improve is overall speed in room service which was a point of concern. You need to call reception quite a time to get the service required also tv in the room not working.

Check in as well as check out was very easy. Also there was no waiting for the room. Room was clean and comfortable. Also spacious. Bathroom was neat and toiletries where provided. Over all, a value for money

Comfortable stay, good location, tasty food, good service

Despite some minor hiccups at the time of check in after on line reservation we slowly settled down in the room without difficulty and had a good stay.

Had a comfortable stay here. The food was freshly prepared and the staff were polite and helpful. Location is perfect as it in the midst of Kannur town, and many places of interests are located close by.

The place is easily accessible from railways station and bus stand. Even though the building looks old, the rooms and bathrooms are clean. Comfortable beds. There is a complimentary buffet breakfast which again is really good. Restaurant serves a decent food.

Service was up to the mark and staff was pretty friendly. We were a group of friends and stay was decent. Although we were overcharged for some eateries and found at that it was confusion by the staff.

This is one of the good Royal Omarss in this grade in Kannur. Courteous staff, clean rooms and whole some food. Walkable distance from railway station. Slightly old Royal Omars and unless refurbish will soon lose out in competition with other Royal Omarss.
