Sagara Beach Resort

Property is ideally located near thiruvananthapuram city, airport and kovalam beach and other places of interest like sri padmanabhaswamy temple, kanyakumari, etc. It's well maintained and offers variety of accommodation from economy to deluxe. Courteous staff and service. Voluntarily upgraded our accommodation to deluxe which we appreciate and acknowledge. Have multi cuisine restaurant and bar. We being strict vegetarian, did not eat there as they do not have separate kitchen and their cook prepared a miserable jeera palav which we cancelled. This not a remark on their overall capacity or potential to prepare good vegetarian dishes. We are too keen to have separate kitchen or prefer pure vegetarian restaurant. Room service was good. View from room was good though it was not sea facing. It's 5 minutes walk to the kovalam beach and the beach side market place full of eateries, bars, ayurveda parlours, stores offering fashion clothing, murals, etc. The light house next door is a landmark area and interesting to see the huge search lights in the night sky. Auto and car rentals available just outside the resort on beach road. Swimming pool is also big and we'll maintained. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and value for money.

This is one of the best resort i have ever stayed in my entire life. Oh my god, the breath taking views of the resort the resort comes with 100 rooms in total. And is a sea facing won. The resort comes with two pools. It has a bar and all the other amenities available. The property is so beautiful. You will just go mesmerised while staying over there. You would not like to come back. I just can’t express my words towards this beautiful property, it is a sea facing property hardly one minute walk to the kovalam beach. Please go for this property without any hesitation. I am sure you will never ever regret it in your entire life.

I stayed with my family for two nights. We were highly impressed with food and staff behaviour. Owner, mr. Jay-an and all the staff members are friendly and so helpful. Mr. Jay-an manages to find time everyday to talk to guests and takes feedbacks. High location of the property gives a great view of the beach and light house. Sea view rooms would be the best choice. Few issues i found is that room and bathroom interiors, electrical fittings are bit outdated and needs renovation, repairs. Tv set top box wasn't working properly, ac remote also had problems. Faucet had leak.

First of all it is not a resort but a Sagara Beach Resort. Secondly the property is located right next to the light house beach with excellent sea view rooms. Restaurant has also excellent view of the sea. Property is very spacious but poorly maintained. Room and balcony is very big but the biggest disappointment is the toilet which is very small, old looking, averagely maintained with broken wall tiles and has an overall dull look. Toilet needs immediate renovation. Breakfast was good though.

It's a class apart from all other Sagara Beach Resorts in the vicinity. My first choice Sagara Beach Resort in kovalam. The ocean sea view rooms are spacious and comfortable. The room service is at par with any five star Sagara Beach Resorts i have stayed. The restaurant and bar make you feel welcome at anytime of the day. Most of all, the Sagara Beach Resort staff will accommodate your wishes as efficient and quick as they can. You really feel at home in sagara.

I really enjoyed the stay, i think one of the best property in this area, very well maintained property, staff are v friendly. They attend promptly in case require of any assistance. I would be more happy, if i had got wifi network being in poolside room, there was absolutely no network. I experienced there was no basic tv channel available. The property is being located in a remote area. Food was just ok. Need to improve. Previous review was very helpful to me.

Found this through an agent and booked for an additional night stay in mmt, since i went with 1 year old kid had a bit of hesitation how the ambience will be. But once i reached the hospitality and staff receiving us made us feel home. They made all necessary arrangements whatever we have asked for. Especially mr immanuel even taken care of our kid when we were dining. Even though the beach is some 10 mins walk from the resort. It is worth walking to stay here.

The property is huge and beautiful, the stay has been really comfortable as the Sagara Beach Resort staff was very cooperative to adhere to all needs and requirements as we were travel-ling with a 1 year kid. Food was just ok, rest all was good. Christmas gala dinner was well planned and one can enjoy the christmas eve there at the property itself if travel-ling with family

I have booked atleast two Sagara Beach Resort and one resort. Ambiance of all are very good and the rates are fine and in our reach. Sagar resort is excellent and foods was very good

Boat and food was really good, staff and manager hospitality was great. We love the candle light dinner.

Positives: cordial staff good location, accessible by road very close to the beach good view of the beach from most rooms as well as restaurant negatives: nothing in particular lots of mosquitoes restaurant is very expensive

It’s a nice budget resort. It has all the basic amenities and the room is quite big and clean. Room has balcony as well. Resort food is only okay. You can see beach from the resort and it’s really near to the beach

Hotel is good location and good food

First we book the room which was at the ground floor. Room was neat and clean. Only problem was power points and fans. Prom t action was taken regarding any problems. Later on room was shifted to top floor with sea view.

Good resort, i stayed in palace sea view room. They a big in size, view also eye catching. You can see the sea waves from your bed. Food taste very good. Mr. Emanuel is very gentle person. He do a good care for their guest.
