Salt Haven Beach side Cottage

Went to tarkarli with family last week and stayed at salt heaven home stay. We enjoyed our stay at this place very much. This place is just 1 min away from beach. Rooms were cleaned and overall property has typical konkani village vibe which is the best part. Excellent hospitality by the owner mr. Khanvilkar. At this place there is no kitchen and they do not have provision of making food here, so have to make arrangements for your food from outside but mr. Khanvilkar helped us and made arrangements for our food from nearby place. But the overall experience was great and we will visit again next year.

The property is just 1 min away from the beach. Clean rooms, peaceful environment, very friendly owner - he can be your guide for your duration of stay. Lots of food options next to the property. Worth the money.

Bad service, no food available in hotel, no food was provided by the caretaker as came @9pm we our self had to arrange our dinner, ac was continuously making noise n was automatically powering off, caretaker was telling us stories n giving tips about near by tourist places n was ready to arrange a visit but the rates was very costly. They have only one restaurant from where he provides food tea coffee n if this place is closed for some reason he will not help to provide food n if your hungry u have to search n arrange for food by your self. The place feels like its haunted house(hahahhaha) they will tell u it's a beach resort but its far from the beach. At 1st we wanted to stay here for 2 days but we checked out in the morning. Over all this was the worst experience in my life.
