Great view and amazing hosts. The drive was exhausting but was so worth it. Overall super experience.

We planned for a holiday trip to kodaikanal with the assistance for booking hotel. We booked for 2 days but we were in the position to vacate in the first day itself. As we went as a family we expected some basic amenities. But we felt like we were deserted there without any other family or human none other than us. A family came and immediately they cancel-led their booking for next day. It was posdible for them because they booked directly but unfortunately we booked. That place maked us feel too 1. Private and unsafe without phone tower to contact anybody not even our family. Even we didn't inform our safe reach yo our families itself. 2. Except their wifi we couldn't access our mobile network for any emergency. How can we depend their wifi only, all over the night? it's full of their control ofcourse. 3. This is the first and sure will be the last time also to find a farm/hotel or place whatever without a security. They enrolled as a tourist stay place and entertain all the earnings through your bookings. Is it safe to suggest a place even without a security for a tourist visitors? how come is this possible for you 4. They convinced as many cctv cams were there for our security. But they are also upto their control and if any medical emergency whom we have to contact without any mobile tower. Whatever happens will be find only after when it got over. Then what will be the use of cctvs there without a human security. 5. However we explained in detail to the owner over phone and he accepted finally for cancellation and refund. Then only we vacated.

Stayed in this property for 2 nights, A hidden gem you may say, The home is artfully decorated and is very very clean, The host, Mr Biswajit and his son are super cool. They ensured that we had a pleasant stay and guided us to some local exotic places nearby, The place itself is superb and the room we had stayed in had a private balcony, amazing views. A must stay. I will be visiting again for sure and would recommend it to friends as well,

Property is beautiful but there is no one on property, no owner or care taker. It took more then one hour to contact after reaching. We booked 2rooms for 3 night a month ago and still they just had only 1 room available. They don't have proper management, safety and no food facility on property. Only breakfast available that too very late around 10am. We had bad experience with this. Dont suggest this property to anyone.

Anaheeta is owner of samafarms. She was constantly in touch before we reached the place. She was personally taking care of every need of visitors like food, accomodation etc. The staffs are very kind and helpful too. Will recommend highly whoever visits kodaikanal to stay at this amazing place just for the hospitality of the host and breathtaking location of this farm and those 4 puppies too.

The most beautiful stay that I never had. If someone want to enjoy and get lost in their stress life, please visit this place. Amazing location

The host Mr.Banerjee took really good care of us. Rooms are quite spacious and very clean. All rooms are directly valley facing with an amazing view. There is a common room with a lot of indoor games and a restaurant with an amazing view. The only con of this place is the location. It's located about 4 km away from Kodai lake and will cost you 300-400 bucks to reach this place and there are no shops or restaurants nearby. But I would definitely say its worth all the effort and money.

There is no hot water, TV not working, no caretaker, worst cottage for families.

You cannot experience the calm and serene atmosphere anywhere in the Kodai except Sama Farms. Such a nice and warm hospitality provided throughout the stay with home made breakfast. Please bare the rough roads to reach the location but worth the pain I would say.

Place is good. We stayed half day. Room is specious and clean. Food was not that good. Bit far from City and roads were horrible. Our vehicle clutch was damaged while going there. But the hotelier came and took us to room. They were very helpful.

This is a beautiful farm that really gives you what city folks desire the most - peace and pristine surroundings! Located on a hilltop, the farm is isolated from Kodai’s touristy noise and hustle, yet well connected. Last kms is a tough stretch but the property owners are happy to help you navigate your way through. Wins-Location : Among the windy hills and dense Forrest, it overlooks a wide and strong mountain range with a tiny far away city view of what I think was Madurai. All rooms offer a clear view of the valley that lies below. Rooms : very spacious room with characteristic furniture that makes you feel very comfortable. Farm land : Green pastures with multiple local produce grown around the area. The landscape also had multiple art sculptures installed at various spots. Definitely helps with your Instagram game. Food : I would urge you to have dinner at the property. The owners offer fresh food prepared in the kitchen next door. They use produce grown at the farm. Fresh and a scrumptious meal. The mutton biryani and idli/ sambhar are definitely things to write home about! Iffy things that can be better- the rooms tend to get really chilly / it’ll be better if the room had heaters. Should keep basic first aid ready to go. I found that to be missing. Overall a wonderful experience. Pro tip - pack your warmest clothes.

Amazing place with a great view. Food and service was so good. The only thing is that the road to reach this place is terrible and risky. Other than that its the best place in Kodaikanal.

Rooms and property was neatly maintained, had good Valley view. Slightly away from Town center which is nice to avoid mad rush near Town and enjoy your vacation at peace. Approach roads are terrible and got to know from locals it's been like that for years, very difficult with hatchback/sedan cars. No restaurants bear by and in-house options are limited and pricey, also quantity was not sufficient.

It quite place, little outside from Kodaikanal Lake 5 KM and best place to enjoy specially coming from City. There are no nearby shops or restaurants, so you have to get food from City or order from hotel. Food is good over there.
