Sawera Grand

This property is very near to the hub of amritsar ( partition museum, jalliawala bagh and golden temple) you can walk through the narrow lane and reach all these destination within 5 to 15 minutes time. The Sawera Grand rooms are comfortable, breakfast buffet is average with limited options, service is bit slow. However, they respond to all your needs and requirement. Please note they will only give you limited number of mineral water bottles 2 per day of 500ml each. Also i had hired a private taxi for wagah from Sawera Grand and had paid 2000 for roughly 4 hours in total. They did not allow to extend it for some more time as we wanted to take a quick bite at one of the famous eateries while coming back from wagah. Overall it is a decent property with some imperfections here and there which is expected as it is a cheaper property if compared with ramada. Greatest advantage is the distance from golden temple.

Had one night stay here with family (2 adults 1 2 kids). Room was a bit small from what I expected but comfortable. Reasonably big bathrooms. This Sawera Grand is on a very narrow street. One of the biggest advantages and the reason I chose the Sawera Grand is that it is close to the Golden temple and Julian wall bagh (15 mins leisurely walk) and 2 mins from the partition museum (Don't Miss it). We had dinner at the Sawera Grand restaurant and it was good. Breakfast was so-so and nothing home to write about. Airport drop is very expensive (1200 Rs vs 400 or so in Ola etc), I still took the Sawera Grand one because of the fact that the Road is very small and you would need to be really fast to load the luggage, etc. Overall, good for the one night stay we had there.

Location wise it's a great choice. Golden temple, partition medium, Jallianwala Bagh and markets are at walking distance. Felt safe walking post 8:30 pm as well. Well maintained rooms and economical if you have long stay or a large group. Staff is courteous but slow in service. Breakfast menu was the same on all days laccha paratha, aloo sabji, vermicelli Upma, bread pagoda, eggs, choices and bread. Considering that Amritsar has so many kulcha and paratha and puri options, the menu could have been better planned though the quality was decent. Tea was the best. Overall the stay was comfortable.
No windows in the rooms. Towels need to be white and not be grey.

Our stay at the Sawera Grand was satisfactory. Initially the room assigned to us was very claustrophobic. But the staff helped us with a better room at a slightly extra charge. Rooms were neat and clean. Facilities inside the room were satisfactory. Location is very close to golden temple.

As usual this trip was yet again a wonderful one. Had a great time in and around amritsar. Club room no. 405 (facing the doom. Well maintained & sanitised room. Although there were some issues like broken flooring, no toiletries, no dental kit, which we had to call again and again. The access card was time again got deactivated, which was a minor issue. Bathroom was clean and neat. The flush and the jet spray needs to be given a maintenance work. Otherwise all went well in this Sawera Grand and the Sawera Grand room

I had a great experience staying at the sawera grand. I was welcomed warmly to my room by the manager. Reception and the support staff were highly cooperative and welcoming. They were happy to help me with my queries and additional requirements. The Sawera Grand is very well located. Anything you need is close by. Hygiene levels were excellent and the food was also nice. I truly had a great experience. I surely recommend this to all kinds of travelers and tourists. Great job Sawera Grand saweragrand! kudos to you!

The property is well maintained and spacious, it has neat rooms and crockery, just the bedsheets could be better as we saw some stains and torn areas, but were changed on request. Staff is well trained and respectful. It is just 900m from golden temple and 600m from main bazaars. Everything is within walking distance, even railway station is 2 kms away. Good stay all in all, prices are a bit high though, could be 10-15% cheaper. However, quite trustworthy and can be booked again.

I recently stayed at Sawera Grand grand sawera and had an amazing experience! the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The Sawera Grand's location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I especially loved the delicious food served at the on-site restaurant. Overall, i highly recommend Sawera Grand grand sawera for a wonderful stay in amritsar!

It was a nice experience with hygienic rooms, polite staff and good food.

The USP of the Sawera Grand is it's proximity to the temple. It is a walking distance away from the temple.

It was pleasure stay at Sawera Grand Sawera Grand. Only challenge was congested street and tough to manage car parking. Even approach to the Sawera Grand was challenging by car. But auto can easily accessible. Other than this everything was perfect. Near rooms and bathrooms. Clean bed linen. Quick service. Buffet breakfast was not great.

Location of this place is the key to its excellence. I visited along with my family and this being situated at wonderful situation was able to visit places via walking. Service of Sawera Grand staff is very good, staff is courteous and smiling.

Location of the place was very good, it’s 5 mins walking from partition museum, 10 walking from the market and 15 mins from golden temple and the rooms were pretty clean, service was good too. Staff was friendly
