First I should begin with the location of the hotel - there's no road to reach the hotel, from the Main Road (from station) one has to take an alley Secondly, the check-in process was smooth, the manager accepted my half an hour late check-out though. Now coming to the room, as per the price range I was extremely disappointed because of the size of the room, the cleanliness of the washroom, etc. My check-in was far late than the scheduled one, hence they got plenty of time to clean the washroom & wash basin, however, they provided a bath towel. The AC was working nicely though. While booking online I found the pictures of the toilet in Indian style, but both the AC rooms the staff showed me was having Western toilets. During checkout the other staff was indirectly asking for some tips, I didn't have a problem though, however, I denied. Recommendation - if one is tight on budget/planning for just a night-stay/students/any short trip(a half or a day), you can book Shivam guest house. If you are with your family looking for a decent stay/with women/with elders, walk along the main road just out of the Gaya Junction railway station. There are innumerable hotels/guest house/luxury hotels and so on. My rating a 3-star.. Happy stay

At Shivan Guest House, the bedsheets and pillow covers were not changed even though I asked the staff to do so. The service staff did not take responsibility. Very bad experience.

Dirty room and bed dirty bathroom And uncomfortable walking distance in the floor

It's very satisfying to stay from 2 days (29th to 31 St Oct 25 )with My family (including 2 children). Feel like HOME. Here i book 2 queen size bed in 1 room...... same as I booked. Staffs are very familiar. Thanks to all member and hotels staff. Room size is also big (apporx 20*15)

it was nice and comfortable staying the location of the guesthouse was easily searched and found.

bedsheets were dirty, room floor was full of dust, bathroom were full of dust , overall it seems that nobody has used this room for last 15 days.

I liked this guest house very much. I stayed there on the first night. The behaviour of the staff was very good. There is a railway station nearby and food is also available outside in the market.

Very bad experience. Very small room, room was not cleaned, no bed sheet was there, when I asked for bed sheet one person came with bed sheet and told me to place the bed sheet. Toilet commode was very dirty, TV remote was not available in the room.

location is close by station but hotel in inside a lane ,No luggage assistant, Cooperative peoples , budget stay

Room was not clean. There is strain marks on bed sheet, Chair and table. No connection in TV. Toilet Pan is totally black.

Worst Stay. Dirty room, no cleanliness, Bathroom in the 1st floor was a nightmare for us. Would never recommend anyone to stay here.

Not at all good, the place for gruesomely small and unhygienic, there was people sleeping all around the place outside rooms

The hotel is very near to railway junction and is easily accessible. Good service and well behaviour by staff.

Room cleaning is not there, bed sheets were not changed even multiple times requested, for cleaning demanding extra money, it is located near to railway station only but surrounded by drainages so mosquitos were high in the room.

Worst hotel i saw in life with rude behaviour after payment they don't give room key and no facilities provided by hotel

Visited for business work. Nice and present stay. Very friendly host, food was awesome. Must visit if you looking for nice budget stay.

room was very dirty, bedsheet, and bathroom was not good, and the behaviour of owner was worst, he took money for early checking and next day he pressurised to leave room on same checkin time even I gave her extra money 🤑
