I did not have a great experience at this place. We booked the homestay so that we could have a calm weekend away from the bustle but basic amenities like drinking water, soaps, dustbin, towels were not provided, we had to call the person to get basic stuff. I went to celebrate my birthday, and mid-shower the water stops. While calling the owner, they told me to switch on the motor, as they weren't at home. I believe when I have paid my amount, I deserve the basic things at least. We complained and the next day the owner gave us a half-hearted apology. He tells us if we needed so much amenities we could have booked a 5-star room and how we ruined their anniversary. No accountability about our experience and furthermore invalidating our experience. I am very disheartened, this is not the way people practise privilege or power.

This review is wrongly stated. towels,soaps and a door mat were provided. We changed sheet and quilt which you stained.Came late and ate inside the room violating house rules.Gyser damaged.

Terrible Stay

There's a way one can transmit and practise their privilege and experience. My birthday didn't go well because of the experience I had in this homestay. We booked this with the hope that it would provide a comfortable, calm and homely experience. While the location is good and quiet, our experience wasn't. We reached the hotel to find nobody, and then were informed that our room was upgraded (something we didn't request for). The room wasn't very clean unlike the pictures. During my birthday the water stopped coming during the bath, and I had to go and switch the motor after calling the person in-charge. Even for basic stuff like water, soap we had to call the person. Even though it's a homestay, our basic expectation was that we'd get the basic stuff to stay for 2 days. While we complained about this , the owner spoke to us the next day. Although I appreciate the apology, it seemed half-hearted with the owner mentioning how other people do not have issues, and if we wanted so much we should have gone to a 5-star. Just because someone has a great experience doesn't mean one can invalidate what we experienced. He told us how they were very educated and their anniversary was ruined because of our call, which I totally understand and feel sorry about, but who takes the onus of ruining our experience? I would not recommend this, and would urge the people to revisit their idea of providing an experience and acknowledging that there were gaps in their service.

Dear Ankita, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. After your checkout, we discovered a broken angle valve in your washroom, which caused continuous water flow and drained our 3000-ltr tank. A plumber had to replace it, and I can share a photo of the new valve. It was our anniversary and we were out briefly; we also have a 3500-ltr reserve which could’ve been used if contacted. You weren’t staying alone, so a temporary resolution was possible. When we interact with guests, we share details like our background—my wife being a professor and I, a retired agriculture scientist—to build trust. It surprises us that this was found objectionable. On the day of your stay, we had multiple vacancies and upgraded you to a better, larger room as a kind gesture, which most guests appreciate. The stains under the window occur every monsoon and are repainted annually. We aim to provide a reliable and welcoming stay and regret any inconvenience caused.

Sometimes we see that the food ordered in the room starts smelling bed and customers in following days start complaining so we only give service on the terrace where arrangement is there. Tea can be served in rooms.

The property is located in a very nice place with a good atmosphere. All tourist points are nearby to the guesthouse. The owners are very good in behavior. It's just like a home with little minus things. But all over it's good for everyone. Sneha madam is a very nice cook her food is very tasty and authentic. One must visit without any doubts.

Now we do not have a branded key ring for your room. If you consider our request please remove the key but at least send the brass key tag with our logo to our address written on brass tag. The check in at the hotel was well managed even though we arrived late night. The host met us in the morning and was very welcoming. There was a hot water issue in the morning which is must in the winter morning.

One of the best home stay and guest house in jaipur

Snehdeep guest house is best located in sethi colony and all the transport is available 24 hours. All nearby markets and tourst places are nearby. One of the best things is mr. Manoj is very helpful and connected with all sort of extra swefices and very eager to extend his services. He is running this guest house as passion and make his best to extend his support. My highly recommendation to stay here and enjoy the stay.

The guest house is at prime location and easily approachable. All hygiene and safety standard are maintained. Due to busy schedule we couldn't try the food quality at the guest house, but it was very friendly and comfortable stay.

Splendid home-cooked meals and warm hospitality this is the real deal

If you are looking for luxury, if you are looking for 3-4-5 star accommodations, skip this place. However, if you want splendid home-cooked meals, manageable accommodations and erudite, warm, hospital hosts near pink square mall, this it! run by an ex-agricultural scientist, it has its own quirks, but the price-value can't be beat. If you are specially lucky, you might even get a chance to savour the owner's superlative fish curry. Enough said! not for everyone but only for a select few for true world adventurers who have experienced almost everything, recommended for at least a stay and the food. why not!

Thanks Mr. Manjit Gogoi As you rightly mentioned that one who has experienced all kind of travel in luxury and budget categories will only be able to differentiate between payment for luxurious stay and expecting luxurious experience but when you are on shoe string budget but expect 24 hours five star service then it would be a mismatch. We have created facility for budget travelers and will have to upgrade the facility for high end customer and charge him in the same proportion if we are asked to give three shift 24 hours service. The Guest House is located on a 60 ft wide Road in a good residential area. Except for cheaper standard rooms which are cheap, all the rooms are fitted with flat screen led TV's and air conditioners. There is a roof top sit out and ac rooms have a small private balcony. Home cooked special meals are served on advance order under the able guidance of one of the host who is Ph, d in food and nutrition and appears in special shows on tv for her cooking skills. We provide clean rooms with white linen to guests and clean the rooms every day on the request of guests. The location is just next to most of the site seeing places and we take personal care of each Guest as far as possible and are available to interact for any problems in morning hours between 8-9 Am. And later from 6-7 Pm in evening when guests return. Ret of the time we have a cook and a House keeper who render their services as shown in the schedule of work following House rules.
