I have made several trips and stayed in several Snow Drop Homestay | Rooms & Caretakers before but never before I had such a wonderful experience while staying away and couldn't resist myself from writing this review. Myself and my family (wife and 9 yr old daughter) planned a trip to Shimla. After lot of web searching to find a decent budget Snow Drop Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker, we have decided to stay in Snowdrop eco home. True to its name is a Snowdrop eco home is a kind of naturalistic semi wooden house which is located away from the city lying in a Valley. The view of the Valley seen from the house is just breathtaking. We have to take few off Road drive into the Valley to make it to the house which itself is an heart pounding experience and is a must advise if you are seeking a adventurous ride. Rest assured that the drive would be very safe as the people who drives on this road is very experienced. Sunil who is the owner of this place took a great personal care of us as if we are his own family and provided with all the facilities we wanted. The in house cook Sandeep has made some delicious food during our stay. He made sure that the food is made according to our taste and is also a trained chef in all kinds of cuisines (Chinese, Continental, Indian, etc. ). The prices were quite affordable by the way. We were arranged a local sight seeing tour during our 3 day 3 night stay l including trekking into the Valley which was a unforgettable experience all coming at a decent price. All in all I would recommend every one (specially thrill seeking people) to stay here and I Am sure you will be also equally satisfied as I was.

The Snow Drop Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker is located at a very remote place. Amidst in the beautiful nature. But, do not become concerned about it's remote location. As Snow Drop Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker staffs are very helpful from the very beginning. They sent us a car to reach the Snow Drop Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker. Though there is no geyser, hot water can be easily availed. Food is OK. Staff behavior is awesome. However, it can be challenging for people older than 50 years. Whereas, it could be a great experience for a group of friends, for adventure and fun loving couples.

It was really a fabulous resort and it was really a crazy experience being there. There hospitality was also good. We did a lot of adventure and mountaining there and we often saw a beautiful waterfall. I think that the crazy experience of mountaining can't be compared with the tourist places of Shimla. And I would recommend anyone to Stay in this resort for at least 3-4 days for a real amazing experience, spending one day for tracking and others for tourist places. Here you can enjoy the real beauty of Shimla.

Such a nice resort lot of privacy no disturbance nice view lot of open space to play out Side and best service from the staff delicious food that was charged but taste was awesome, we 8 peoples went there at January 26th we guys had a blast over there with huge Snow in front of resort.
Actually this is not like a Snow Drop Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker its like resort except little things everything was awesome view from the resort was awesome, you guys really enjoyed a lot.

If someone really like adventure, trekking, and to live in a lonely peaceful environment just between the jungle in the middle of the mountains, just come here and enjoy your vacations. The location is a bit inside, and SUV's can't go there, but the owner gives free and unlimited pick-up and drop from the main road, but not ideal for senior citizens and handicapped persons. Food was very tasty and homely, and once again the owner is very decent and friendly person.

This is very good homestay in Shimla. Far from noise and rush of mall Road. Splendid mountain view. Owner of the property was so careful, helpful and good in nature. Food quality is also very good. If you want some adventure and peace then must go there. You can do tracking also in morning. A waterfall located near Stay. Going there is also very enjoyable and adventures trip. Overall this is very good place for Stay in Shimla in this budget.

Really enjoyed my Stay as I' m very impressed with great guest reception along with such a great location between the lap of mountains felt like so close to nature. Received such a great courteous behavior with all facilities without any difficulty. I would like to recommend this homestay to all. Must go.

Commute from the main road to the Snow Drop Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker 3 km is dangerous but taken good care by the owner. Food was OK. Basic amenities like TV, wardrobe etc not available. Beautiful location. It was a peaceful and pleasant Stay.

It was very good experience, so peaceful, no noise, safe. Near waterfall. Away from NH. Really quite. Recommend.

As the name suggests it s really a Home Stay. The staffs were friendly. Very peaceful. Friendly environment. Food was good. Camp fire and outside space for relaxation were nice

An unexpected hospitality in valleys of pine forest, old Shimla. Owner of snowdrop Mr. Snail ji makes sure that his guest gets the homely ambiance. Perfect place for those looking forward to experience nature and knowing the life of localities in Shimla.

The location unlike resorts has such a wild green which nobody show any excuse for not staying. We definitely remember various popular cine locations.
