Starling River Resort, Dandeli

Stay was very good, good ambience, but i would mention 3 things. 1. Pool water was very dirty, although the staff was not accepting it. They said that was due to addition of potash alum. 2. There where few stay dogs roaming around the property that looked bad, it felt like u are on some local tea stall, the staff said they won’t bite. That is really bad. 3. Don’t go for commando tents they are outside the property without intercom. The Starling River Resort, Dandeli changed our room to doom room. Rest all the property is value for money. And food was awesome and tasty.

Check in was smooth. Cottage is very spacious and has attached bath with tub. Cleanliness and hygiene is very well maintained considering the area. Room service was super quick. Food taste was good. Buffet dinner and breakfast spread had lot of varieties. Boat ride is bit tad expensive but worth it. Overall the experience was amazing. Thanks to the team.

Please ensure you reach the place in daylight before 4.00 pm. It is pretty inside the jungle and you can get lost a quiet place to relax and listen to bird's chirping. Food was like home made quality just advise to the management- you should stop playing the do in the evening, it is too loud and creates a noisy atmosphere.

Booked a riverside tent, this is one of the amazing properties in dandeli. The resort has a lot of activities ziplining, and coracle rides, there are some paid water sports options as well. The staff is very good, food is good (buffet spread) food is part of the package (b+l+d.

Nice resort with good food. Recommended for family stay. A few things for improvement: more signages required as it is 6 kms isolated from main road. Some neon lights enroute will be helpful. Tv should be made working.

A bit far from the city, roads are still under repair. Location is good, just river side. A nice pool, where you won't drown. Food is good, service excellent
