StayVista at Shimla Manor

While the property manager was available for assistance, the caretaker and other staff, especially those in the kitchen were completely irresponsible, to say the least. Not even a single meal was served on time, despite telling them well in advance. We had to literally request them to give water and tissues, not once, but for each and every single meal. The utensils were smelly, the caretaker hitesh was always unavailable on call, mostly his phone was busy. So for each single thing, you had to route it through the property manager. The staff it seemed was not interested in hosting. Any request for himachali food was met with “its not possible and supplies are a long way downtown “. Well, if that’s the case, why even mention those dishes in the menu. The sockets in a few washrooms were loose. The lampshade and throws were torn. However, the property is good, location wise. And, special shout out to neena ji, who tried her best to make our stay comfortable. However, due to other above mentioned issues, this stay is not recommended.

Property was average more likely a 2-3 star. We stayed there for 2 days and our booking was including breakfast but we paid forall the meals. We did not like the food and snacks were totally hopeless and also they have a very limited menu. As discussed with them, they will charge rs 3000 for making food and also v have to pay the grocery bill. Many times we have seen there staff members eating the food which they were making for us and this was very shameful l as we were paying for the groceries bill. We did not expect such kind of things from stay vista

Whispering pine is nothing less that a home away from home. Located close to the city, yet at a very peacefully & beautiful location. The kids enjoyed playing around in the lawn while we elders, spent a great evening sipping chai and enjoying the vibe of the place. The hospitality provided by the staff members was definitely upto the mark. We enjoyed every moment we spent here and would definitely love to visit in the future.
