We stayed at a good houseboat. Staff on board looked after well. The main issues we faced were delay in check in and in any request made as the staff was deficient. The management must look into this as the staff has to be decked up and geared up to look after a house full Sterling Houseboats Lake Palace, Alleppey. Prolonged delays at the buffet and at check in and checkout was not in the true sense a good thing. Some people missed their flights due to the same. Nevertheless the stay still was good and the available staff were cordial though overworked. Good experience as for the stay on the houseboat. Thanks

If you are at aleppy a houseboat ride of the backwater is a must but to make it memorable you have to selective and sterling's houseboat is just perfect. Fully equipped, very well staffed, great food, very good service. After exhausting stay at munnar and thekaddy this was just the anecdote we needed before heading to poovar. The boat docks at 6 pm at the sterling lake palace resort. You can then explore the resort or drive down to alleppey for shopping. Great place
