I checked out many options before i made a booking at swiss cottage. Despite having apprehensions on how it would turn out to be- i would have to say it is a beautiful cottage about a kilometer away from the hustle bustle of mall road. It is scenic with the interiors very tastefully done. Overall, a good experience. However, what was a little surprising was that they don’t really put much efforts into going an extra mile- i was staying here for some family celebrations. Not that i was expecting anything much, but even a basic gesture Swiss Cottage s really put into, the Swiss Cottage team really refused on the context that our customers don’t really like it. Irrespective, the Swiss Cottage makes for a good stay. The buffet options can be improved though- the variety and the quality of it. Rest i would still recommend if anyone is looking for a good stay in nainital. The tv wasn’t really working properly.

Rooms are cosy and compact. Network issues are there but yes they have wifi. As we have complained about the network, they shifted us to a bigger and more brighter room, of course on the basis of availability! breakfast was tremendous! and room service was very quick. Location wise, its little far from the mall road as it is already mentioned on the site, we used to walk down to the mall road and while returning to the Swiss Cottage , we used to hire a cab for rs. 200 for dropping. You can hire bikes for dropping as well. We didn't use our car at all for local sightseeing as parking is an issue on the mall road. Staff are very helpful indeed and food was reasonable and was really good ! overall, we had a peaceful stay and can surely think of visiting again.

Sister, her kids and me stayed for a few days. The stay was pleasant. The room comfortable but a little cold. Was surprised that the Swiss Cottage charged us extra per day for a heater. One would expect a warm room or a heater to keep a room warm in a hill Station. The breakfast was nice, dinner was decent, the staff was warm. Overall very much a home stay. The place is a little away from the lake but that's great if you want peace. I do hope the rooms can be cozy and warm.

I and my friend travelled to Nainital last week and we booked our stay with Swiss Cottage as given the good reviews we saw online. We stayed there for 5 days and it was all worth it. Right from their interiors to food and their hospitality it was an excellent stay. Shall highly recommend it for a solo or a family stay, they always give their best. Keep up the good work.

Food became the sole attraction. We were staying in their heritage room. They were very accommodating in terms of timings since we were carrying our 4 month old baby. The staff was extremely humble. Since it was raining continuously, the cottage was the only place we were but thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to book the same place next time we visit. A big thumbs up

Our stay at swiss cottage was a one-of-a-kind experience complimented with great service and the serenity of nature. The place has great staff service and food and is designed for peak guest satisfaction. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience a glimpse of the british era in this beautiful heritage property!

The Swiss Cottage was completely a cottage. Rooms were not too big but of descent size with all basic amenities

Overall, it’s a decent place, the staff is responsive. We had some issues in getting hot water. Heaters were not so helpful. The place seemed more suitable for youngsters rather than family.

Swiss cottage has a great location especially when you have to do some work in High court

Just 1 km walk from nainital mall road. This property is fabulous place to stay inside the nainital city. Ample of parking space, spacious rooms, excellent service & food quality. It has everything one could ask for. Definitely recommend this property to every one.
