Taj Damdama Lake Resort & Spa, Gurugram

I stayed at the taj gateway resort in the first week of jean with my family and pet **** It was truly a wonderful and relaxing experience. It was the perfect getaway for my pet dog as they have many large lawns where i could run and play with my dog (on-leash of course. We enjoyed the many outdoor activities although some of them could have better maintenance like the tennis court. We had got a good deal on the booking with buffet breakfast + dinner & i would rate their food quality as 5/5 and we kept going back for multiple servings. There was some renovation on but that was cordoned off and hardly noticeable except for the odd noise here and there. I wanted to visit the spa but it seemed to be fully booked throughout our stay so no feedback on that. Thanks to the front desk team of parnami, manav, sunny, urmila & himanshu for warmly welcoming us and making the check-in/check-out as seamless as possible. The location is a bit remote but the roads are generally alright getting there. Took less than 2hrs from noida. I would definitely stay again considering the large pet-friendly property they have.

Though under the gateway sub-brand of taj, it doesn't disappoint and provides the best hospitality as is there under any taj property. Welcome was warm with a refreshing drink to quench the thirst in this hot weather. Room was clean and spacious. Though majority of the resort is under construction and renovation with constant noises and regular few second power cuts, but they don't seem to lessen the experience because of all the positives. Since it was my birthday, they gave a wonderful surprise with a cake, personalized photo card, and staff singing the birthday song for you with a ukulele. Special thanks to parnami and sylvester! i was humbled. Only one restaurant was open- shamiana. We ordered tortilla four ways, dragon rolls with chocolate shake and mix kulcha. All the things were superb in taste. Tortillas was the pick of the lot. It was very tasty. Hospitality by girish, nikhil and kishan was amazing. Thanks kishan for those complimentary deserts from the buffet. They added sweetness to our desert. This is a must visit property.

The stay was amazing and the Taj Damdama Lake Resort & Spa, Gurugram is spread across 20 acres with lot of activities like swimming pool, adventure sports etc. They welcome the guest with a welcome drink and the rooms are quite spacious. I was amazed by the bathroom which is equivalent to the size of the room. The only caveat is the Taj Damdama Lake Resort & Spa, Gurugram is under renovation till end of septa 2024 as they are expanding the property. The swimming pool and other many restaurants are under renovation and that seems temporary. Also, do not book a first floor room as there is no provision of lift if travel-ling with elderly or people not wanting to climb stairs to the room. The breakfast spread was amazing and they prepare on demand dishes like dosa, paranthas, poori sabji and lot more. In all the stay was amazing and good for a family staycation.

We had the pleasure of staying at the gateway resort damdama lake, and i must say it was an exceptional experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay, special thanks to pranami. The rooms were well-appointed and clean, and the food at the on-site restaurant was delicious. One of the highlights of my stay was the range of activities specially for kids. The resort's beautiful landscaping and well-maintained grounds made for a perfect backdrop for relaxation and leisure. Overall, my stay at the gateway resort damdama lake is a great experience, and i highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

My recent stay at the gateway resort was truly exceptional. The room was a haven of comfort and style, providing a serene escape from the bustle of daily life. The resort's staff were not only courteous but went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The stunning pool area and well-maintained gardens added to the overall beauty of the property. Dining at the resort's restaurant was a culinary delight, with a diverse menu that satisfied my taste buds. The gateway resort's serene location, with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, made it an ideal retreat. I wholeheartedly recommend the gateway resort for a truly rejuvenating experience.

The property is on outskirts of gurgaon and the accessibility is good though the last 10kms pass through village and better to pass through the day. Once inside the property, you are well taken care of with individual villa type rooms and clean and spacious rest rooms. The property is well suited for parents either kids from 5-10 yrs of age bracket with lots of recreational games in a vast open space. Some of the games are free and some of them have token money of 400rs. Food is good and sumptuous at buffet but the inroom dining is a bit costly and can be avoided. All in all, a good and peaceful stay. My kids liked the property more than us.

I had a great time staying for a family staycation also a great pleasure dining at their famous restaurant shamian, where chef mr. Girish chunder ji orchestrated an unforgettable culinary experience. The buffet here is completely a symphony of flavours and textures, showcased the talent and passion of chef girish, kishan, nitesh and shivangi, for the craft. From the moment we stepped in the hospitality was exceptional, the staff mr. Pushkar, mr. Kishan and ms. Shreyashree were very welcoming. A special thanks to miss sadaf sylvester for arranging everything as per our needs before time. Altogether, we had a great time here.

It is amazing stay at the gateway resort. Staff is so friendly food is very delicious. Room is spacious and well maintained. Overall it's worth to spend money.

We are on our babymoon during the stay and the staff went way way beyond to make beautiful and full of warmth gestures for us, even handmade cards and goodies for incoming little one. We just loved it and would love to return here. Breakfast and dinner was delicious, nice variety.

It was an awesome trip. We enjoyed a lot there. Had a great time. Looking forward to come again. Pleasant weather was there.

Food was good but it was very expensive. And the route to resort via road is not in good condition

It is good resort, lot of greenery, lot of open space, lot of adventure sports. Great to spend a day with family

Some parts of the Property was under renovation and hence had restricted access.. otherwise overall good stay.. would have been better notified about the renovation activity while at the time of booking. However, excellecent hospitality extended by Gateway resort to cover up.

We found it through make my trip. Very beautiful and quite place. It was our anniversary and we booked three rooms. They decorated our room and arranged a cake. It was an amazing experience and will surely visit this property again. Staff was good and courteous, but the property is under construction. Does not live upto taj’s name. Too pricey for the cost.

Very nice stay, especially karan yadav who ensured to take care of minutest things. Although we stayed for 1 night, would surely like to come back to spend longer time.
