The Blossom Resort - Chikmagalur

I recently stayed at blossom resort and found the property good. They have good spacious rooms. They also have coffee estate for which they give a guided tour in morning and a detailed workshop in evening going through the history, processing, tasting and helping understand different varieties of coffee. Property is surrounded by forests, though it is almost 30 kms from the main chikmagalur city. So, unless you are driving, there is not much to do specially in evenings except for spending time in activities at resort. For food, there are no other options nearby. Resort has buffet options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Since we didn't wanted to go for buffet, they allowed us to take ala-carte from the menu at buffet. Food is slightly spicy, but manageable. They have decent buffet spread. They have coffee shop which sells processed coffee from their own estate at reasonable price. They also have a swimming pool and spa. Only problem i had during my entire stay was spotting a lizard on the last day of my stay in bathroom, which made my family slightly uncomfortable. Since the ceiling is of tiles, it might have come from one of the gaps. Probably something that resort management can think about and do some pesticide spray. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and staff regularly was checking, if we need any help and were trying to make us comfortable.

1) had a great stay for 3 days & 2 nights, would have loved to stay more, but surely will revisit. 2) resort is situated in chikkamagalur hills, experienced a peaceful serene stay away from crowded city. 3) location of the resort is so beautiful and so chilling weather. Ambience of the resort is beautiful with scenic surroundings. 4) buffet spread was huge and delicious ( both veg & non-veg. Restaurant ambience and view from the restaurant is too scenic. 5) front desk member's were soft spoken and easily approachable, specially mentioning both poonachi & samreen. 6) i felt worth to mention mr. Arun kumar who is a coffee plantation guide cum adventure sports specialist. He took us for almost an hour trail within coffee estate and provided valuable information about different types of coffee and the process of harvesting. He helped us execute the 9 types of rope activities with ease. 7) also had a good karaoke which was organized by sai kumar, he has a beautiful voice and he sung so beautifully.

Our stay at the blossom resort chikmagalur was simply amazing. The resort is very conveniently located and is very nicely maintained. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a very friendly staff. The overall look and feel of the place gives a very nice impression. The best part about the resort is that. The structure is built at height because of which you get stunning unobstructed views of the western ghats from hill view room. It's simply breathtaking. The property is very well maintained. They have a nice swimming pool. Indir activities like carrom. Table tennis. Chess. They also have adventure sports included which were pretty amazing. The coffee plantation walk was excellent. Food is very reasonable and delicious. They also offer complementary hitea. Room was nice and comfortable. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend this place

One of most amazing of things from the abundance of things that we loved in the resort is the hospitality and dedication of the people and the staff. Special mention to so-man and staff for being the best hosts we had till date. The sheer amount of concern, care and liberalism showed to us was astounding and out-of-the-park. The location of the resort is perfect for a peaceful and serene getaway, to freshen up your mind from the usual ho hungo. Rooms were proper, neat and tidy and upto the mark. Another special mention to the food and the service for the same provided. Food was simply lip smacking and varied in nature. And yet again the service in this aspect as well was top notch. All in all probably the best resort stay we had till date. Kudos to the entire resort staff and managers for making the stay more than just worth it.

Stayed at the blossom resort for a couple of nights around christmas break. Family trip. Overall, we really liked the resort. Key things we liked were: 1. Resort is part of a coffee plantation. Can go for morning/evening walks. 2. Good ambience. Stunning views from the restaurant. 3. Restaurant food - both breakfast and dinner - was quite nice 4. They organized entertainment programs every evening - e. G. Magic show, karaoke night, etc. Which made evenings well spent at the The Blossom Resort - Chikmagalur 5. Friendly staff, decent service at the same time, the property should improve its housekeeping standards. They forgot to provide towels in the room everyday! also, the towels were of sub-standard quality. Notwithstanding the housekeeping issues, it is a nice property to stay at.

This resort is ideal for relaxation. Nestled in nature (remote location, but very helpful staff, huge rooms, maintained garden, crystal clear water in swimming pool, great view of the misty hills of chikmaglur. Even food had good variety and taste. However there were some things worth improving like the kids play area: it is quite limited and the lawn of the play area can be made better. The tree climb part could have been made a bit safer since there is hand grip only on one side. The entry gate and parking area upkeep can be improved especially in the rainy season. However these are very minor points. Overall it is a wonderful place to stay in chikmaglur. The resort staff including manager are all very helpful and cooperative

Excellent property to relax and enjoy with family. Cottages have big room, super clean bathroom, spacious balcony with a nice view of garden or hills depending on which one you get. No AC in rooms but you really don't need it, you will need a blanket though 🙂 Food was superb, swimming pool is large and clean. Kids friendly, Indoor outdoor activities, campfire to keep you engaged. Hill view from restaurant is the best part to enjoy while eating or having nice tea 😌☕. Staff is super polite and helpful. They really take care and make everything possible to make your stay comfortable. There is no bar 🍺 inside the resort but it really doesn't matter as they allow you to bring from outside also.. overall 10/10

It was an excellent choice after searching lots of resorts in chikmaglur. Stayed with family with kids and they really enjoyed. The food was awesome for all meals. Except they could have few more items for breakfast ( was comparing against coorg experience. But still it's good one. We had taken breakfast & dinner package, but the resort manager has given complementary lunch. And that's so nice. It's worth for each penny you spent. The more important part is the rooms are spacious and pretty comfortable for families. Stayed with elders also and they provided wheel chairs. The only drawback was that the outdoor lighting could have been improved, but it looks technical issue. Otherwise we all were happy.

Booked for 2 nights with family for a quick getaway over a weekend. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Landscaping is good. Breakfast spread is good and healthy.

The stay was pleasant and the food was good. Nature and views around were the highlight.

The stay was very comfortable and pleasant. Panoramic mountain view from the room was very calm to our eyes. Staff was generous, housekeeping were quick. Property was surrounded by greenery and was very clean. Can recommend to friends and family when they visit to chikmagalur.

I booked stay at the resort for 3 nights for self and family. Very good property. Well designed and lot of greenery. The suit we stayed in was very spacious with a king bed and a separate single bed. Just perfect for my family of 4. Food was good, if not great. Good play area for kids. There is a rope way on the trees for some adventure. Overall we had a great time.

It was a nice stay at the resort. The staffs are nice and the room was comfortable and spacious. The ambience was awesome. Overall a good resort for family outing.

I had an exceptional stay at this property located approximately 20 kilometers outside of Chickmagalur city. The location is perfect for relaxation and is conveniently close to standard tourist locations like Kemangundi and Baba Budangiri. The property is well-maintained, very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and responsive. The breakfast and dinner buffets were of high quality and maintained excellent standards. However, the lunch service, which was à la carte, could be improved as it was a bit slow and had a limited menu. Despite this minor issue, the overall experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway near Chickmagalur."

The property is nice and decently maintained. It is calm and serene and nestled between a few hills. The staff is very accommodative and helpful. The food was nice and there was ample variety. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would want to come back again.
