The Bungalow

I stayed at this property for the first time and it was better than my expectations. The bedroom size is huge and the lobby area is cozy and welcoming. The space offers you peace and privacy in the heart of srinagar. The best part about this place is it’s really safe for solo women travellers. So, i highly recommend trying it out if you are looking at homestay. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. I would personally like to visit again.

A lovely family and their beautiful home is the perfect spot to spend a few days. Remember it's someone's home, so please respect that and don't expect to get a 5 star treatment although the service is sub par. The staff there is sweet and helpful. The rooms are beautiful. They have a lovely garden and an amazing library of unique and old books. Please be careful with them. Overall, an amazing place to relax for a few days.

But tariff is very high. i have booked and made payment also. So why you need images or at the time of booking you should have mentioned about your policy

As it was a homestay we can’t expect The Bungalow like service. Breakfast was good like home made food but they were preparing the food very slow like 1 paratha in 20 mins, no one can wait 1-2 hr for breakfast, in spite of asking multiple times they were preparing it in very slow pace. Other than that other things were fine. It is an old house, garden and sitting area was good.

The bungalow is a property so well managed by the owner that you would be treated just like a family member. It has all one can aspire for a stay security, nice location, cozy rooms, clean bathrooms and off-course nice outdoor seating space. Go for it.
