The Divine Homestay | Suite & Cottages

Undoubtedly the best staying experience with family at this peaceful Homestay resort Divine in Murud. Booked 2 cottages for 2 nights for our family. Was a little inhibited while booking the homestay instead of a resort. But it proved to be one of the best decision. Hunt for peace, calm, relaxation, beach view, sound of the waves, sunset, etc gets over when you stay in this homestay. Of course there are shortcomings like no swimming pool, gym, spa, etc but who needs it when you are right in the lap of the mother nature! Cottages has been built nicely using Pinewood, of which the room is filled with that lovely wooden aroma. It's quite decent and big enough for an extra mattress too. Washrooms are super clean and well maintained. You get the beach view from all of its 7 cottages. There is ample parking space, a small playing garden for kids with swings, trampoline, hammock, badminton net at the backyard. Beach beds in the front for that super calm beach experience. Don't expect great food as it is a homestay and don't have a restaurant but what they have is a home like kitchen where the breakfast and snacks are prepared and served and the best part, they allowed us to cook our own sea food in the kitchen! Special thanks and regards to the caretaker Mr. Manu for his superb hospitality.

The place is amazing in terms of location, n beauty. Its quite calm n its apt for unwinding. The room was clean n bathrooms very spacious n big. Water n geysers n ac were in proper conditions. They have swing n many games for kids n adults. Loved the place. Food on the other hand is not at all up to the mark. We had a very bad experience at dinner. We ordered fish thali (at extra cost, as only veg n chicken thali was included in our package. Also we didnt know this before hand ) the curry was still ok but the fried fishes were litter-ally raw. We even told the staff but the cook left after preparing our meal n it was just 9:30pm. After this i started to feel uneasy n puked for most of the night. It totally ruined my stay. In the morning at breakfast even the aloo vada was not cooked properly. It had raw batter. We showed that to the staff too. The phone in our room was also not working hence for every small thing we had to walk to the reception. Plz check the best before date of the tea n milk powder provided in the room, we were given milk sachets that was dated sometime in 2021! nothing happened again after informing the staff. Well, all in all good place to stay but for your meals u may try options n restaurants near the beach

We stayed at the divine homestay cottage in murud janjira for one night. The property is pretty with cute comfortable cottages. It has an amazing location! the cottages are seafacing, we need to just open the gates and the entire sea is accessible. Very beautiful, peaceful, clean beach n resort. Its the ultimate place to relish nature. The early morning view was breathtaking, with animals taking a stroll at the beach, birds flying and swimming in the water. The water is so clean. Crowd is less, so its very peaceful at the beach. The staff is friendly, always available to cater to our needs. We had thali for dinner which was tasty. Breakfast was complimentary which included typical maharashtrian simple tasty breakfast. The garden area at the resort is also good. Overall homestay is located away from any hustle or noise in a peaceful area surrounded by garden n facing the sea making it the ultimate place to visit n relax on holidays. I would definitely recommend this place to families looking out for. A relaxing holiday at the beach. I would definitely be revisited this place in future soon

Food - tasty and hygienic. Very accommodative host. Suggesting to include one of the meals like lunch or dinner also in your room booking. Rooms - i stayed in a cottage just next to seashore and it was awesome. Hygienic. Ac works fine. Washrooms are clean. Some pipes were leaking but minor issue. I did not stay in their normal rooms but i have heard that those are also decent enough. Location - very good location and has direct access to a private area on the beach. To do nearby - can go to other places nearby like shrivardhan, janjira fort, alibaug, etc. Activities - this property has a lot of inhouse arrangements like carrom, tt, foosball, volleyball, badminton, hammocks, children's play area, bunjee jumping (small one. Amazing to go with friends and just relax. Route from mumbai - go from panvel - pen - roha - alibaug - murud. Other route is not good.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. It was very spacious, clean with a nice view, adequate amenities (except the commode in the common toilet of the drawing-room was a bit stained). The The Divine Homestay | Suite & Cottages staffs were very cooperative, well mannered and welcoming. The indoor/ outdoor game items, premises, lawns, and other amenities were well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Two points, where we felt the The Divine Homestay | Suite & Cottages could improve - 1) There should be a toilet and a short-time resting place near the parking area for the drivers, 2) The boundary wall and the trees obstruct the view of the sea if someone is sitting on a chair.

Location- jut by the seaside open a gate an walk onto the beach. Room ambiance- excellent. Staff- extremely cordial and cooperative (this is a homestay and not a The Divine Homestay | Suite & Cottages so don't expect uniformed staff). Though room service was not there they did offer to send our tea/snag to the room whenever possible. Food almost all the food is cooked and purchased from sub vendors. Typical ma want food. Was tasting good but options are few. Those very finicky for foods, don't go. Summary, we are definitely planning to go again. Way beyond out expectation for a homestay.

Me and my friends stayed at the divine homestay for 2 nights in may. The property is nice, we stayed at the cottage cabins which were cozy, nice and clean. Staff were courteous and helpful. Food was very good. The property is right on the beach and so you didn’t have to walk far to go to the beach. The only issue during our stay was with the ac in one room, it wasn’t cooling and we needed it at this time of the year. Though the staff made efforts to fix it, it didn’t work well for the 2 nights we stayed there. Overall it was a nice place and we left with fond memories.

We stayed in cottages which are sea facing, the property has small but very beautifully crafted cottages, it has well lit garden areas, swings, there is a provision of dedicated relaxation sun lounger for each cottage, and beautiful walkways. The cottages have a lovely sunset view. Flexible food options are available. It is better to eat there instead of eating outside. The property is connected to the beach, and has a gate which opens to the beach. Riding a bicycle was fun, we were lucky to see a flemingo )

Perfect weekend gateway. Excellent location and hospitality. Must visit location for beach lovers.

Liked it, location was good. Nice helping staffs. Good maintained cottages. As its Homestay you dont get restaurant but with The price we pay you expect better amenities. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

By mistake i had booked for wrong days. But the host was very cooperative & prompt to correct & give the dates i preferred. Caretaker sohan was very polite & efficient. In all a lovely experience. Loved the early morning tea in the shacks in front of the sea. Superb. Superb. Superb

Had a Weekend stay with family at Divine homes. Property is Sea facing with good lawn area and cottage room are comfortable for couple and small kid. Property also has playing area with awing, volley ball net and jumping net. Food is made on order by locals are very tasty and reasonable. Overall had a very good stay at Divine home, Murud.

The stay was really good and hospitality from the resort staff was really impressive.

Cottage was really good and clean. Staff was helpful. And about food breakfast was good but other meals was not up to the mark. It can be better for non alcoholic and vegetarian folks. No thanks

The owner of the property is really kind n cooperative. The staff is very humble and caring. The food quality was good. The best part of the homestay was it’s exactly in front of the beach. The view is really amazing. The only thing need to be there is swimming pool. Otherwise the stay was good.

I took my family here for 2 nights with my kid. We all were impressed and honoured to be staying at this place. Climate, service, cleanliness, rooms, staff, security, value for money. Get a raw fresh sea food and ask to cook to the staff save lot of money.

Our stay was excellent. Sea face property, staff is friendly. Clean, I am very much satisfied. Will recommend this place to everyone.
