Kart Sey is a new hotel and is well maintained. Some of the perks are: 1) Very close to the airport 2) Steaming hot tasty food available at any time within their service hours 3) The staff will go over and above to help you with your requirements 4) View from the balcony is awesome I travelled with my family and had stayed in the Presidential Suite. They were huge. The only reason I am giving 4 star instead of 5 is because the rooms did not have an AC even when it is clearly mentioned in their list of amenities and secondly the Presedential suite in the second floor did not have a balcony. But keeping these points aside, Kart Sey is worth a visit if you are looking for a 3 star hotel in Leh. Tip - If travelling in summer, ask for a room in the 1st Floor instead of 2nd floor as it is much cooler.

Just to share, most hotels in Leh, including ours, do not have air conditioning as Ladakh is a cold desert. The weather remains pleasant for most of the year, and the summer heat usually lasts for only a short period, around two to three weeks. The hotel is little far from Leh market and bustling city. Ample parking space, sparkling clean. Courteous staff. And ample space. Overall excellent customer service and Experience. Irony is hotel was facing lesser tourist footfall due to distance from Leh Market and central areas. I had my own vehicle so I still rate it best overall

Very bad hotel with poorly managed staff and the breakfast was not eatable......no staff available for luggage or house keeping 5 locals managing the property

You had checked in very late at around 1:30 AM, and despite the odd hour, our team extended a warm welcome and provided all necessary assistance to ensure your comfort. You had also declined the need for an extra bed when it was offered. Regarding breakfast, our standard timing is from 7:30 AM onwards. However, you demanded it at 6:00 AM without any prior notice, which was unfortunately not possible due to kitchen operations starting later in the morning. Still, we tried our best to accommodate your requests. Our staff is trained and always eager to help, and we are proud to say that many of our guests appreciate their efforts. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations and will surely look into areas where we can improve.

Upon arrival, i was warmly greeted by the attentive staff who made check-in effortless. The lobby was beautifully designed, exuding a welcoming and luxurious ambiance that set the tone for the rest of my stay. The room exceeded my expectations in every way. It was impeccably clean, elegantly furnished, and offered breathtaking views of the majestic himalayas.
