Lallgarh Palace is a heritage property that offers a royal experience to its guests. The property is well-maintained with lush green surroundings and spacious rooms. The staff is courteous and helpful. The food is good, but the breakfast spread can be improved. The property has a serene ambiance and is perfect for a peaceful stay away from the hustle-bustle of the city. The property has a swimming pool, but it needs maintenance. The property is a bit secluded, but it is worth visiting for its grandeur and history.
A Heritage Hotel without a heritage feel
Siddhartha Das
I stayed with my family at The Lalgarh Palace Hotel, Bikaner for 1 night (11. 01. 2020) at their Sajjan Niwas wing. The Hotel is situated at A distance of 10 mins from The railway Station by car and Around 15 mins by car from The Junagarh Fort. Since it is A Palace Hotel, so The main property is situated inside The Palace complex, which is Around 4-5 mins walking distance from The main Road. Location wise The Hotel is well located, slightly away from The crowd and yet not secluded. The room that I stayed was huge and palatial with A big bathroom and also A separate dressing room. Furniture was antique designed. A corridor and small lobby outside The rooms with A garden in The front. In The Sajjan Niwas wing there were only 6 rooms and The property was separate to the main Palace building (which had The reception and restaurant). The swimming pool also is in the main Palace building, indoor pool but not climate controlled. Staff was courteous and helpful but more of A kind you find in A business budget Hotel. I had requested for an early check in and was provided without an issue (6. 30 Am in The morning), which is Worth appreciating. The general feeling that I got was that The Hotel (by Hotel I mean general management and staff) is pro foreigners. The hospitality and service provided to foreigners are different to those of indians. For an example, during breakfast, for us tea was served from A flask, whereas for The foreigners they served on tea pots whereas it was A general buffet breakfast for all. Small things, but makes A difference and get noticed. A Heritage Hotel should look and make one feel living in A Heritage environment. Here apart from The property The feel was nothing Heritage. Finally, The breakfast spread was not even comparable with any budget Hotel. With The kind of charges, one expects to a lavish breakfast spread, specially when you are staying to enjoy a palatial treatment. The quality of food was also not upto The mark. The very obvious muffins and cakes that is normally laid in The Lallgarh Palace- A Heritage Hotels was completely missing and there was no dessert to follow with your breakfast. Running hot water in The taps was also an issue. On one hand The Hotel had put notices in bathrooms to avoid wasting water, whereas on The other hand hot water takes ages to come there in The taps! We were 2 adults and A kid and only 1 Bath towel and 1 face towel was provided. Not even A couple of towels as normally provided in any other Hotel. Somewhere, there was A disconnect between The staff and The guests. I am not saying that upon asking the staff would not act, but certain obvious things, specially in a Palace Heritage Hotel is by default expected. It is definitely a nice property to stay in, but at the price charged, The services needs to be uplifted to make it an awesome experience.
Stay at lallgarh palace hotel, bikaner
MANISH RATHI
I stayed at lallgarh palace The Lallgarh Palace- A Heritage Hotel with my family recently. Overall it was a good experience but wasn't the best one could say. September is a bit odd month to visit bikaner as temperatures are high and being off season these heritage The Lallgarh Palace- A Heritage Hotels get very few guests and accordingly the service, staff, food everything is not of the top end. The same kind of feeling we got during our stay. These properties are very huge and difficult to manage unless they are managed by some top hospitality company andwecouldfeelthatduringourstay. We were bit disappointed with the overall experience. The food was also of normal quality nothing great. I would suggest that one should not visit such heritage properties in the off season.
Excellent Stay

The palace is almost 130 years old however looks like a newly built building.very clean, and well maintained. We have stayed at Lalgarh palace however had our food at Lakshmi niwas palace which is also part of same campus. Food quality is amazing. There is live Rajasthani folk music at laksmi niwas palace at dinner time. you get some amazing background for photos. The palace is very big that it takes almost an hour to take a full visit. There are pictures of all family members of the royal family. You will also get to see hunting lodge of the kind with real dummies of animals hunted by the king
Overall a pleasant stay!

Ya a first of all happy new year 2021 to all. It's a new year so we selected the The Lallgarh Palace- A Heritage Hotel for the day. Reception area, lobby area, rooms all are very nice. Room offered is also spacious one with all facilities available as required. Stay wise everything alright except food as food taste is not better. Buffet offered for dinner and breakfast lack taste as per north indian culture. Food taste need to be improved rest stay is perfect. Thanks to all The Lallgarh Palace- A Heritage Hotel team management.

I and my son stayed at this magnificent Palace The Lallgarh Palace- A Heritage Hotel for four days. We extremely enjoyed our stay here. It's undoubtedly a charming place, well-maintained and neat and clean. Inspire of this, I have to point out that common washroom opposite restaurant was a bit stinky and could have done with a little more cleanliness and room fresheners being sprayed. All in all it was a comfortable stay. The The Lallgarh Palace- A Heritage Hotel staff were polite and caring.
Luxurious stay!
Saswata Halder
We were on vacation at Lalgarh palace and the stay was luxurious. The staff are very friendly and show you around. The palace, the front and back courtyard are so beautiful that you will not feel like going anywhere. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food tastes good but the number of available items is less from what is available on the menu card. A small glitch in an otherwise pleasant stay. Overall brilliant experience.
Excellent Stay

This place stands true to its name with the essence of palace where u can experience the royalty in a budget friendly way. The food quality is good with simplicity of taste and no spices. They also organize evening folk night with music to experience rajasthan and it's culture. Mr narendra in there restaurant staff is one of the humble human who will serve you with smile. A go to place for living royal ity.
Hygiene needs to be attended
sudhir sapra
property very good being heritage . location good . Staff behaviour good but hygiene is overlooked . Blanket given to us was stained which was replaced after complaint . Tray in which food was served in room was very dirty . I have photos . we were not given any receipt for Rs 7500 collected from us for New Year Gala Dinner. You cannot survive just becoz u r heritage . You need to be good in all aspects.

Comfort with luxury
Supratik Biswas
I stayed here with my family for 2 nights. Hotel staff were courteous and service was prompt. The food at the restaurant was average but not very expensive. The property itself is large enough to just spend the whole day exploring its various amenities or just relax at the garden. They don't have a proper travel desk and that's a disappointment.
Nice cozy needs mantainance and housekeeping
Vivek Sharma
Cozy and nice with courteous staff. Room unkept in terms of proper cleaning specially washrooms and sofa. Needs maintainance of broken doors, rotten hinges and mismatched latches. Had an overall pleasant stay.
