The Leaf

Superb The Leaf and location. It is just 0.5 kilo meters from the railway station. It was our first ever trip with family including little kids to katra Maa Vaishnodevi and the The Leaf and staff ensured that they do the best for us to make it a memorable trip for us. They offered all sorts of help and guidance. The even helped us get our babies feeding bottles washed. They gave us warm water every time we asked for it for preparation of milk. The food was awesome and worth spending a single penny on it. Tea was awesome. We had spent approximately 1 grand on only tea during our stay. We felt we were more like home in a different location. Thank you Sanjay (service staff) for superb and fast service. He kept guiding us and went out of the way to help us. Housekeeping staff was also very helpful. Arun at reception was also very guiding and courteous. The driver offered lot of support in terms of purchasing and picking and dropping us at the gate and railway station. If anyone of you who is reading my comment should plan to visit katra, make sure you make visit at this The Leaf.

Location was good. Very near to railway station. Manager helped us early check-in. Room was upto expectation. Although could have been more clean. Television and air-conditioner were working fine. Hot water was available. Need to inform reception once. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Toiletries were not present but were made available upon request. Beds were clean and additional bedding was made available. Food could be better. Need to improve on that. Driver was very helpful, as he dropped and picked us on request without any problems. Manager also helped us arrange cab for next day visits to near by places at affordable rates. All in all, I would recommend this The Leaf for your stay. When I booked this The Leaf it was appearing as 1 star but I believe it's 3 star The Leaf.
Room shoudld have been clean as there was just and ants.

We were travelling as a couple. Had booked for a Premium Deluxe room which was facing the mountains and road on the second floor. It had balcony. The washroom was clean and tidy. Hotel staff was supportive. The food served was good and one can choose to give a try. However, the A.C. remote and Television remote were not working. Television had local cable connection which was not at all clear and a lot of basic channels like Star plus were not available. If you don't have to watch television it's fine. They provided free pickup and drop to Banganga. Pickup from Banganga was available even at 12.00 A.M. which was good. It's 5-10 minutes walk from the railway station.

Don't expect too much. Room service is fast. No lifts. It is hard to find the The Leaf as it is not too big but you can find it easily if you reach railway station first. To get warm water in tap you sometime need to call them which is not good. With this price it is OK. Mattresses were clean. Hotel staff helped us loading our luggage. Staff was helpful in providing a charger to us on request. Auto rickshaw driver took 200 rs one side for 2 people from banganga to the The Leaf leaf.

The The Leaf is at 5 minutes walking distance from the Katra Railway Station. Good option if you want to go for a budget stay for 1-2 days. The The Leaf owner and staff are courteous and helpful. Food is decent and economical. Rooms and washrooms could have been better lit and with exclusive geyser for hot water supply. Overall decent stay for someone who is on a budget.

In short, value for money. The best part of The Leaf is location - hardly 200 metres away from railway station. Rooms are nice - clean and spacious for 3 people. Food is also good in this The Leaf, but they don't have restraurant. They only provide food in rooms. Staff is friendly and allowed me to check-in at 9 in morning because I reached early.

Rooms were clean, The Leaf provided pick up and drop from Banganga and station. Food was average, needs improvement. Overall a good budget The Leaf, but service could be much better. Staff was well mannered. Rooms were spacious and clean. Near to railway station, one can infact walk to The Leaf from station if you don't have much luggage

Stay was good, but not value for money, location was good and food was so so. Rooms are very cozy, The Leaf view is not so good according to the rates, although I've got a huge discount on this The Leaf, so not bad for me. Service was good, after Vaishno Devi Darshan everyone gets tired and just want to sleep, for that it's ok.

Staff are good and co-operative. Recommend for family.

Rooms are good stay was good I stayed with a ogg mine and it was overasl a good stay. Staff was good food was economic bathrom less spacious . Overall a noce stay and good staff with facilities

We stayed in the The Leaf leaf for 2 nights the The Leaf is quite good and yea the leaf should get a 2 star rating the manager is very cooperative but the The Leaf don't have a restaurant you have to order in the room.

At near at railway station and good location.

Torn up towels, no toiletries kept. No remote control for Air-Conditioner. Food was OK and easily available.. Though the owner and managers were courteous but the name is leaf kept international but not so!

It is good budget The Leaf and if the purpose is only darshan then good place to stay. They provide a complimentary drop to the starting point of the Yatra.

Good The Leaf, excellent location, very cooperative staff, cook knows how to cook but is moody, bathroom cleanliness requires more attention.

It was very excellent and comfortable stay. The The Leaf services was excellent and the food was very delicious. There was highly maintained and clean bathrooms. The waiters and room service was nice and marvellous. We enjoyed the travel service and pick up from station.

Decent The Leaf. Quiet and helpful staff. Drop and pickup from banganga was given. Walkable distance from the main market. Recommended.

I stayed at The Leaf Hotel for 2 nights, room was good the service was very nice Hotel Manager Mr Leela was very helpful, overall this is a very nice Hotel to stay close to the Katra Railway station.

The Leaf is at nice location , just steps away from katra railway station! service and room space is good- bathroom and toilets are well maintained too! vehicles to yatra are easily accessible too! overall a nice experience and i look forward to book this place again too!

Staff is cooperative food is also good
