The Oberoi Udaivilas

This was my first stay at The Oberoi Udaivilas, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The hospitality here is truly unmatched — a seamless blend of warmth, elegance, and thoughtful attention to detail. I had originally booked a Premier Pool View Room, but upon check-in I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I had been upgraded to a Semi-Private Pool Room without even requesting it. The gesture was mentioned so casually, yet it made a lasting impression. Throughout my stay, there were many such thoughtful touches from the staff that left me overwhelmed in the best way. The food too was impeccable, both in taste and quality. A special thanks to Mr. Pradeep at reception, who went out of his way to grant me a late check-out in the upgraded room. I’d also like to mention Mr. Deven, who gave me a detailed tour of the property with utmost politeness and sincerity. Both stood out for their professionalism and kindness. Every staff member I interacted with seemed genuinely passionate about their work — something I rarely feel even at other luxury hotels. Their dedication made the entire experience truly memorable. I look forward to visiting again soon. While I couldn’t cover all of Udaipur this time due to time constraints, my stay at Udaivilas more than compensated for it. My personal suggestion: reserve at least a full day just to explore and enjoy this property. Every corner is picture-perfect. And if you’re choosing rooms, I personally found the Semi-Private Pool Room to offer a better view than the Pool View or Garden View Rooms.

Stayed here in Sep ’25. The property is lavish, earthy yet modern, but service falls short. 1. Inconsistent service – no proactive info on the jetty ride (we had to ask last minute) and the rose-petal welcome was skipped. 2. Room – upgraded to a semi-private pool, but service felt stifling: repeated questions on allergies/preferences with no real customization. 3. Food – below average. No buffets, unclear prepaid meal policy, and a la carte meals were wrongly billed at checkout despite clarifications. Breakfast spread was poor, though taste/service were fine. Non-alcoholic drinks were laughable. 4. Spa & Room – spa was excellent, rooms bright and well-kept, amenities high-quality. Housekeeping was faultless, though coffee pods weren’t authentic Nespresso. 5. Cultural show – unacceptable. Performers were sloppy, visibly unprofessional, with props marked by phone numbers, constant chatter, and focus on tips rather than performance. Felt like a cheap add-on, not hotel quality. 6. Overall – property maintenance is great, but service feels hollow Verdict: Worth a visit pre-season, but better alternatives exist.

All the staff members are very helpful! Ready to help and assist at every point , and promptly entertain the requests.

The food and service were great. The locations and view from the room was excellent. We had a great time during our stay would love to come back.

The breakfast buffet was very lavish, and in-room dining was prompt and convenient. The rooms and private villas were spacious, elegant, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The infinity pool, spa, and lush gardens added to the relaxing and royal experience. What stood out most was the impeccable service – warm, polite, and always ready to help. Every detail was carefully looked after, making our stay seamless and special. Overall, Oberoi Udaivilas offers a perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and heritage charm. Highly recommended for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in Udaipur.

I have never experienced such Luxury Hospitality! Property Location is the Best, near pichola Lake . Such a great View. Great Food, Very Good Staff. I Highly Recommend Oberoi Udaivilas. They had never disappointed in ANYTHING. I specially loved their small acts/gestures to make the guest feel Happy. I loved their Hospitality very very much. Instead I have decided to book the Oberois wherever possible .

We have stayed at many five star properties bu Oberoi Udavilas went out of their way to accomodate us for additional half day considering that both my wife and child were unwell. They even arranged for ors and coconut water in early morning. Nevertheless their hospitality was unmatched. Special thanks to Pradeep and the Oberoi staff who went out of their way to help us.

I had a wonderful stay at udaivillas with great ambience gives a royal like feeling in every corner of the property , staff are amazing they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable .food are good but they can improve breakfast menu which is as usual as any good hotel .over all experience is good.thank u so much for giving us a pleasant & memorable stay

The propert is excellent. The ambience is tranquil. It lives up to its name. The staff is highly trained, professional, and polite. I found that even the restaurant manager knew about our sudden trip, it gave a personal touch. No doubt good was delicious, but more than that again, the staff was extremely helpful and caring. The USP of Udhayvillas is its neat and clean property & and its staff. Highly recommend this Hotel. It will make you feel soaked in luxury with warm hospitality.

Property is awesome, View is beautiful specially night view.. Ultimate Hospitality.. Restaurant is Basic as comapre to another Five Star like Taj Pichola or Taj Fathe... Breakfast was very very Basic.. Very less options... Need to work out with the restaurant Part.. Rest everything was awesome 5 on 5

From the moment we arrived till the time we checked out, the hospitality was nothing short of exceptional. We were traveling with our 1.5-year-old child, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything we needed was taken care of, promptly and thoughtfully. To our surprise, they even upgraded us to a semi-private room, making our experience even more special. The property itself is stunning - a true symbol of luxury and elegance. We had come for just a short break from our hectic schedule and to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and the Oberoi team made it a celebration to remember. Looking forward to returning soon.
