The Regalia Munnar

The garden is quite a bit of a treat as my 2year old kid loved it. Good housekeeping and the host takes extra care to keep it that way. The manager and his crew are extremely helpful guys who take care of all your requirements with a pleasant smile. Food i was sceptical as i show some reviews but for me the complementary breakfast was overwhelming and also remaining cuisine pleasant. They have even arranged a candle light dinner for my anniversary in the premise which was also memorable(though some glitches that need refinement, my wife and kid enjoyed it. Coming to the cottage it was pretty small i think 182sqft but compact had a couch small table wardrobe bedside table and everything stuffed inside the 182sqft!plus a fan too! bathrooms could have been much more posh(of course you get what you pay for) but a better floor mat at the entrance would do as however we wipe ourselves it will bring some water to the room making all watery footprints in our room. Overall we enjoyed the stay, highly recommended if you are traveling with your kids.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this property for a night and wanted to provide my review of the experience. However, it's worth noting that the property had its share of challenges. The road leading to the property was in poor condition, making the journey a bit difficult. Additionally, parking at the property was limited, which could be a concern for those traveling by car. Despite these challenges, the property's comfortable accommodations, quality breakfast, and supportive staff balanced out the negatives. In conclusion, while the road conditions and limited parking were setbacks, the property's positive aspects made the stay a satisfactory one.

Located in a small and quiet village called Chinnakanal, this is a beautiful resort with a great view and cozy rooms. It is one of The oldest resorts. It is probably The best rated resort/The Regalia Munnar in Chinnakanal. The rooms are tidy and we'll kept. There is always hot water in The shower and bathrooms are very clean. The view from the resort in the morning is breathtaking. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The manager and the front office staff helped us with suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to eat at. They also helped to arrange for transport to go around the town. The housekeeping and kitchen staff is also very courteous. The food is delicious! There are not many rooms here so you may find it difficult to get a booking if you wait tor 11th hour. In short, this place was the best part of the trip.

Overall a great experience at regalia. The gardener is the one who needs a special praise for maintaining the property so beautifully. The lawn, the plants and the trees were all so well placed, green and blooming. One could easily spend 2-3 hours in the property clicking some nice photos. The staff were good except that we had some issues finding the location due to heavy rain and fog, had asked them to come and guide us from 4. 5kms away from the The Regalia Munnar but they denied. Room service was good. Rooms were neat and comfy. Toilets were good. No kettle and tea kit was provided in the room. Phone connection was not available. Wifi was not strong, i couldn't do even my basic work stuff. Food was not bad. Breakfast is good.

We stayed at The Regalia Munnar for one day and we loved The peaceful location of The property. It's a small cozy property with very responsive and helpful staff which is always smiling. It's a no-frill resort which is good for people looking to spend some peaceful time relaxing. The view from The lawn is great. The food was homely although some people might find it to be limited in terms of options. Overall I would say that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again. A special mention to Mr. Jerry john, The manager, who was very hospitable right from The time we made The booking.

Property is very neat and clean. Caretaker chinnappa and don is very polite and ready to help all the time. Rooms are very well maintained with proper hot water and toiletries provided. Hot water available in bathroom all the time. Coming to food i must say chef has done the job very well. Food was extremely delicious with good quality and quantity as will no high cost. Buffet breakfast was also good. Stay is quite far from munnar town but if you want to stay away from city hustle and bustle then this is the perfect stay. Free wifi is also available.

A little away from the Munnar city, this beautiful resort was a perfect choice for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The rooms were extremely clean and well furnished. The best part, lots of pillow which you wouldn't find in most of the The Regalia Munnars. Spacious washroom, all time open restaurant, delicious food, friendly staffs, what else and most importantly, the view from the resort was so amazing, we never wanted to come back. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

An scenic resort with an excellent valley view. Although distance from main town is an issue, you can't avoid such thing if you want to have a nice calm stay. Food quality during morning buffet is excellent, although spread can be improved. However, during the dinner time food quality is horrible. Further, property can improve facilities like kettle, tv, flow of hot water in bathrooms etc, also they can add value by including children play area and some indoor games

Ambience is good. No campfire. Food is average.

Value for money and good service.

It is a small property with good view, good rooms and helpful staffs. Two category rooms available as premium and villa. Premium rooms are small but has good infrastructure and vibes. Villa rooms are big with equally good infrastructure. It is worth staying if planning to visit kollukumalai view point. The view point is 30 mins away from property and they provide safari facility at reasonable rates.

Very cosy place with great view and ambience. The property is neatly maintained. Big kudos to their couches 🙈

A little far away from main road . But it's having a very good location to hangout and very good sight seeing. Very relaxed and calm with friendly services from Prabhas and simon.

Nice and comfortable stay. Good ambiance and general cleanliness. Friendly and cooperative staff. Complementary breakfast could have been better with egg/omlette, few more dishes & varieties. Felt a bit costly. Overall nice experience.

Stayed here for 3 days. Staff is really good. Rooms are neat and tidy. Well maintained premises surrounded by mountains on three sides. The resort faces towards ana cranial reservoir. Food is available on order and is reasonably priced.

Everything about the place be it very polite staff, instant service, clean and cozy room, mesmerizing view and delicious food. I would say its just a perfect place for anyone looking to stay in munnar.

The location is excellent for a peaceful and quiet getaway to only relax. Perfect spot for family and group of friends on a budget.
