The Soorya Beach Resort

This was one of the worst resort stays I have ever had. Nothing about the experience was close to what a guest expects from a resort. Services: The service was extremely poor, with no proper attention to guests. Basic requests were ignored or delayed, showing complete negligence. Room Cleanliness: Rooms were not cleaned properly, dust and stains everywhere, centipedes was there in the walls ,bedsheets and pillows did not feel fresh, and overall hygiene was Broken ceilings and walls. Reception / Communication: The receptionist’s attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Instead of being helpful, the communication was rude, careless, and lacked basic courtesy. Swimming Pool: The pool was very poorly maintained, dirty water, no proper cleaning, and unsafe to use. Definitely not up to resort standards. Bathroom: Bathrooms were filthy, unhygienic, and badly maintained. Fixtures were broken, water pressure issues, and cleanliness was completely absent. Overall, the resort does not live up to even minimum standards of hospitality. It was a stressful and unpleasant experience instead of being relaxing. I would strongly advise others to avoid this resort if they are looking for comfort, hygiene, and proper service.

Hotel is not neat , I booked hut but it was already occupied then we were accommodated in a small room . Room has seepage on walls and broken slabs etc.

They are saying the rooms we booked are not there and asked us to take another room with extra amount and also they charged extra money for the extra bed which is requested earlier while booking the room itself

No proper maintenance, no room service, no drinking water. Need to improve, there are insects in room.

E co friendly hut is very uncomfortable, so many insects are there not safe for kids, swimming pool is the only good thing in the resort

Extremely poor maintenance inside the room, insects crawling, with hundreds of mosquitos, dirty leaking washrooms, no basic amenities of intercom, every-time u need to go and tell you requirement in person to reception, on top of it the room allocated has its jey stuck for days, imagine u room key is stuck and anyone can get in. I couldn't risk my family's health hence vacated within hours. Over all extremely bad experience will deduct points aswell for suggesting such a bad property. Complete waste of money.

Hotel was a good but the staff was not cooperative makemytrip not is proper giving price this told and denied to check in you will pay 1600 rupees to access our property dewas told and i will talk to make my trip executive they were solve my problem

No food available at property. AC of the room was not working .No room servant available. Location of resort was very good just 3 minutes walk upto nearby Beach.

Charged extra than paid. No cleanliness. Frog was in bathroom. Mosquitoes problem. Swimming pool water was very bad. Looks greenish water.

The rooms were worse, bad odor and no room spary was provided. There are no lights in the corridors, and there is no room service. Not recommended for couples and family.

The stay was not upto the mark. The ambience make me feel so clumsy and cigar smoke and smell all over the building need to take control over this.

Worst place ever to stay. Rooms stink badly, no cleanliness, spiderweb, mosquito and insects in rooms. No curtains, soap, water facilities. Don't fall for the images shown on internet in real the place is horrible. Never i repeat never stay at this place.

I booked soorya beach resort in pondicherry. But wen i went they gave worst ever room. Not suitable for family. With request they somehow gave another room which was also below average. This guy asked for additional money. Terrible experience worst ever stay. Won't recommend it shud be banned.

My booking was for a e co hut with booking for two guests. Hut had no windows, no scope for ventilation, totally unlike a hut. It had big spiders in the room. Only one towel was given. In spite of making a request more than twice water was not provided. A gap under the only door to the room from outside had a gap through which insects could enter.

Had a good staff helping us and gave us an upgrade for a less price and the pool amenities is nice. Parking is a bit spacious but it will do because there is parking outside the resort
