The Sunway Manor

We had a very good time staying here. They have valet parking available. They also provide scooty on rent per 12 hours and per 24 hours basis, 2 options. Rooms are very good and staffs also are very supportive. The a la carte restaurant also serves very good food.

Very good and nice stay. Staff was very good and courteous. rooms were nice and clean with AC working completely fine and location is very strategic.

The food and accommodation was good enough.

The stay was comfortable and the staff were courteous. However, we experienced some mosquitoes in the room, which disturbed our sleep and affected the overall comfort. Buffet breakfast was good and had very good spread.

The hospitality is very good, the service is awesome, specially ambience is fantastic, it feels like a 5star hotel property. We are happy to stay in that hotel and next time we will prefer to stay there only.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean, the service was prompt, and the staff were polite and helpful. The location is ideal — close to all key tourist attractions, making it very convenient for sightseeing. Highly recommend this property.

Spacious room, polite staff, good spread for breakfast. Only improvements could be its amenities like children playground was very old and rusty The stay was good, food was good but amenities can be better like children park were rusty and broken. Rooms are spacious. Housekeeping is good.

Ambience and room was Good. Food quality is good. Staffs were courtieous. Pool water quality was good. They can pile up more soft drinks like zero coke and pepsi in their mini bar section.

The location was nice , easy to access but the food seems pretty average ( breakfast/dinner ) .they are still using old sort of equipment- non smart tv where you can’t connect anything or so on . Swimming pool is nice and clean ,spa is average and gym is older version .staff was courteous and helpful ,neatly dressed up with nice etiquette’s .They must upgrade internal entertainment amenities or equipment

Good points: - The swimming pool was good especially for children - Location is ok Bad points: - Buffet is too expensive - The bathroom shower did not work properly and was too rusted - TV did not have WiFi connection hence cannot watch Netflix or youtube. This is a huge inconvenience especially if you have kids - The procedure to connect your phone to wifi is complicated - Checkout is poorly managed and took a long time to process and leave the hotel - Overall the hotel is showing signs of age and needs a renovation.

I stayed here for 2 nights, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. From the time of check-in, the Internet did not work at all. For the entire duration of my stay, there was no resolution – the only explanation I kept hearing was that there was a “board issue” and it was being worked on. For a hotel of this tariff, this is completely unacceptable. Another surprising aspect was that basic bottled water was not provided. Instead, I was asked to use RO water in a jug, which is certainly not the standard expected at this price point. On top of that, the bathroom door handle was broken , showing poor upkeep and lack of maintenance. The only silver lining of my stay was the dining service. Mr. Alavandhan from the restaurant team took excellent care of us. He was attentive, courteous, and open to feedback. His service stood out and made a huge positive difference in an otherwise disappointing stay. Overall, except for the restaurant service, the stay was below expectations and did not justify the tariff. The management needs to take serious note of these issues if they wish to retain guests in the future.

Time worth spent at Puducherry thanks to Sunway Manor. Be it Food, Location, Amenities and Customer Relations- it was class apart! And I should thank them for the upgrade to the suite room for us to have a good night sleep after a tiring travel! Who would be so compassionate like these people. Food was exceptional!

House keeping can be improved by placing all the necessities as per the number of persons booked Towels ,soaps ,TV had some problems etc ..

The piping in the bathroom had a lot of rust and algae. There was no bottled water or date mentioned on the jar. The door also was not upto the mark. Overall, it was okay to stay but not comfortable or pleasant enough.
