The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa

We had 4 rooms at westin and overall stay was pleasant. However, the resort needs to improve on a few things. I have stayed there before and some things have improved but some things have fallen short. 1. Check in: we arrived at 2:30 pm and were given 3 rooms by 3:00 pm and 1 room by 3:30 pm. They managed to give us 3 rooms very near each other as per our requirement and though it took them an hour, we didn’t mind it at all because staying together was more important. The 4th room was a villa which was by default was located a bit far. 2. Food and dining: this was average the last time i stayed here about 4 years ago. However, this time the food, variety, service, ambience everything was excellent. We had an amazing experience at the restaurant. Dikshant’s mongolian counter was tastiest. 3. Activities: swimming pool experience was lovely. Kids had fun in their gaming room while the adult games room had pool table and table tennis and cue, rackets, tables were all in good condition. We also played badminton. Some other folks played cricket and tennis as well. We missed out on the third party activities such as go kart, archery, shooting etc because it was closed due to heat wave. We went in peak of summer in jun e 2024 and while kids were looking forward to these, i don’t really blame them for closing it. 4. Rooms: again excellent for the 3 rooms. Clean and comfortable. Except for the 4th room: 303 villa. My parents stayed in this room. They faced a lot of issues. First the electric kettle was not working and took them over an hour to replace it. Second, the tv wasn’t working and the electrician never came. Third and the main issue was the washroom: one sink was totally jam and plumber had to come and drain it. In this process the washroom became dirty and then someone came after an hour to clear it. Next day in the morning when they went to bathe, the entire washroom flooded. First someone came to see, then someone came to repair and then someone came to clean. This process took them 2 hours. So effectively my parents spent like 2-3 hours just getting the washroom cleaned. This was their 40th anniversary which by the way westin never even bothered to ask us at all about (i. E, if we were celebrating any occasion. 5. Check out: i didn’t like the checkout experience. We had checked out of 3 rooms around 11:30 am and 4th room around 12:30 pm. We also had put all our luggage in this 4th room itself for a smooth checkout. Despite this, they took 1 hour 10 mins to get our luggage. Also, no one even asked us how was our stay! i had remind them to ask us because my father wanted to give feedback for his experience in the room, which i think they took very casually. 6. Buggy wait time: i do think they can increase their number of buggies. Wait time of 15-20 minutes seemed long. I have been to other large resorts and some of them had managed it really well. This wasn’t a big problem for us but i think it can be improved. Areas of improvement: the villa room 303, the checkout experience and the dearth of buggies are the reason why i have given 4 starts instead of 5.

It was refreshing to have such a variety of choices without feeling limited. The pool area was a highlight of our stay. Whether we were looking to relax or engage in water activities, the well-maintained and beautifully designed pool provided the perfect setting. It became our go-to spot for both refreshment and recreation. A delightful surprise was the mini zoo, which became our 6-year-old daughter's favorite place. The opportunity to see and learn about animals like rabbits and emus up close was both educational and entertaining. It added a unique dimension to our resort experience that set it apart from typical family getaways. Comparing this visit to our stay two years ago, the improvements were substantial and noticeable across all aspects of the resort. The westin has clearly committed to enhancing its offerings, and the results speak for themselves. This remarkable evolution has not only met but exceeded our expectations, solidifying the westin as our top choice for future family vacations.

Stay was comfortable, convenient and relaxing! we did multiple activities there incl d sports like basketball, football and tennis. Food incl d breakfast was good. Hotel needs to be more tech savvy - they told to whatsapp us activities pd f but didn’t receive any messages even if followed up twice. On follow up, we were told that it takes lot of time sending messages to so many guests! evening tea is great hit among-st guests, and tambola was enthralling. Property maintenance is though good enough but rooms need some uplifting, modern look (interior. Overall comfortable and relaxing stay. Recommended for relaxing weekend stay or some large team event

The place has a close to nature feel. Open grounds lots of space to walk and play. They have facilities for cycling tennis horse riding. A small bird enclosure, ducks, turkeys, emu. goats and guinea pigs. The caretaker allows kids to interact with them. Evening tea had tambola arrangement. The dinner and breakfast had good variety and everything was delicious. The staff whether at the front desk, or dining, housekeeping are polite responsive and efficient. Only thing the grounds become dark at night. We had to use the mobile torchlight to reach dinner venue

I like the complimentary snacks durings lunch time then they also have hi tea for all the guests which is again something extra you are getting with wonderful stay. Room were clean and spacious and the one we stayed got 2 balconys. Staff was very polite and helpful. Property area is around 47 acres so you get cart to go from one place to another. Everything was great except the activities which are there with additional cost. Kids outdoor play area is also chargeable which i dint like so given the same feedback

Westin sohna resort and spa is a beautiful, well laid out and maintained property with lot of greenery around. The food served in their restaurants is excellent with a very wide choice and options. The high tea in the evening next to the pool with cookies and indian snacks was also very popular. The small zoo, pony ride and e- carts to take one around were a special attraction for children! the managers and staff were all very courteous and hospitable and ready to make your stay more comfortable and pleasant.

We recently stayed at the westin resort, sohna road and was truly impressed by their outstanding hospitality. Our child had a fracture, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure his comfort and care. They provided special attention, making his summer vacation memorable despite the circumstances. A special mention goes to the restaurant staff and housekeeping, who were exceptionally accommodating and attentive. Their kindness and dedication truly made our stay remarkable. We will definitely visit again.

I say suspicious, because i had never seen staff like at westin. They were way too helpful, accommodating and willing, to the point where it made me think something was wrong, how could every staff member be so nice, helpful and willing. From the zoo keeper, gardener’s to the managers, buggy drivers and restaurant staff, everyone was not just willingly helpful, but were engaging meaningfully in conversations as well. Forget the facilities, interactions with the staff is what made the stay memorable for us.

Very well trained and responsible staff who look after your needs. Quick and responsive to any request. Food was good at living room and gaurav always make sure his guests are looked after and enjoy the dining so look for him when you go out to dine at the living room. 1. I think they were not expecting that much crowd on the next day of diwali. But it was busy and services were delayed. 2. They offer cycles for navigating the property as it is huge, but no stroller services for toddlers so don’t forget one if you have a toddler. 3. Lighting in outdoors is low during the night.

The room was spacious, comfortable and with required amenities. The staff were friendly and cordial. Service was excellent. |the complementary breakfast was good. The buffet dinner was 2 much tasty. I loved this stay.

It is a must visit property. Close to nature, huge and luxurious rooms. The staff is very courteous and polite and the service is excellent. Amazing breakfast buffet with huge variety of options. We stayed there with our pet and this has been the most pet friendly resort in my experience. Highly recommended for a luxurious and peaceful stay

Loved every bit of our. The food, staff and the property, everything was too good. Breakfast and dinner buffet had variety of options and the taste was good too.

Great location. Near to newly constructed highway thus making access so simple from delhi/gurgaon huge property, well architected, great greens, and so much to do for each family member play area for kids, exciting field games, small zoo and great cricket ground making your stay relaxing and all inclusive service, amenities, food is amazing and i loved every bit of it.

Excellent property, very hospitable and courteous staff, wide range of activities for kids and adults, superb food
