Pros: location - can't ask for anything better. Absolutely the showstopper as all rooms provide 180 degrees view of the bay of bengal and 24x7 roar of the waves provide the best relaxing music. Hammocks, shades, benches and beach recliners spread all across the private beach and we'll lit at night as well. Clean and decently maintained rooms. Cons: mosquitoes are a nightmare. Just uncontrollable with any kind of repellants which if difficult to find from room service. The walls and linen are all stained with little blood marks from mosquitoes murdered by people ) food is mostly average of taste with limited options for a la carte. Room service is typical of a government owned resort. Little late and understaffed. Avoid parking cars in the designated parking lot under the shade of trees. The bird droppings are an absolute menace even when walking around after sunset or sitting outdoors and they show absolutely no mercy in painting the car in all hues. In fact the security makes brisk business by washing it in the morning. Overall a huge campus with good amenities for children and adults both.

We booked 5 double rooms in total for a family weekend getaway to celebrate our kid's birthday. Our stay in ttdc was very pleasant. Rooms were clean, especially restrooms were maintained well. Beaches also well maintained and guards posted were attentive towards people enjoying in the shore and in the water, they indeed warn people whenever they felt some risky plays or moves towards water. Swimming pool was maintained clean and staff were attentive towards people using. Children parks and garden area well well maintained. We didn't try the bar and we didn't visit the statue park also due to heavy rain. All the staff members were polite and friendly. Gave information whenever needed. We had compliment dinner and breakfast. Dinner was good. Breakfast was very good and had homely taste especially south indian breakfast recipes. My few suggestions would be to add bed coffee to the package, maintain the intercom properly and provide better wifi routers (wifi down - reason may be during our stay there was heavy downpour all night. Overall our stay there is very pleasant.

This is a very good property for families, families including children and senior citizens. For one night stay cost is little bit more. But you will enjoy this property as much as. They have children play area separate garden including all amenities. They have swimming pool for children as well as elder also. They have complementary morning breakfast and night dinner in buffet. Dinner and breakfast menu is average only south indian and limited options. They have to include some gravy item's in menu such as panir masala, kaju panir masala, and many more so that it will be good for all people who is coming from other states apart from south they will enjoy a lot. You will enjoy beach from your room window. They have very good space and attached beach with property. Really it is very safe and secure property for families.

Pros: room was spacious and facing sea side, which was an added beauty. Hotel premise was very beautiful and maintained. Cons: car parking area was covered with too many trees on which hundreds on birds stays. Overnight placing car in parking area makes car too dirty due to birds. Dirty look of your car will be a surprise in morning for you. As staff find you approaching the car, they will come with pity face to clean your car with minimal charge, which is not minimal (rs. 200) as it's TTDC HOTEL TAMILNADU, MAMALLAPURAM duty to provide covered parking. Also, restaurant service and quality is pathetic be it serving in room or having food at the restaurant, quality is low. Conclusion: to stay, TTDC HOTEL TAMILNADU, MAMALLAPURAM is awesome but parking and food is not good.

We had stayed for two nights and the experience is fantabulous. I was bit worried after reading few negative reviews on food and services and to my surprise it was delicious food for both breakfast and dinner and excellent room services, i believe the negative reviews must be from private resorts nearby to win the business. Such a secured private beach and sea facing rooms and swimming pool with continuous lifeguard support is something you never gets from even expensive resorts. My family and kids enjoyed a lot of huge space for play, beach locality and food at its best. Try once and you will understand what i mean for these prices. Complete greeneries and friendly environment.

Great location, friendly staff. Stayed from 21st to 22nd august 2024 in an ac double room. Here are few constructive suggestions: 1. Please paint the portion of the wall near the toilet with a solid color contrasting the light yellow walls. 2 replace the white leds with warm led (yellow) lights. 3. Put a picture of tamil nada icons on one of the walls. 4. The is a step (down) leading to the toilet. The step down is seamless and i almost fell twice. Please put the rubber mat on the toilet side - so that the step down is visible. 5. Food too homely. I enjoyed it, but the dining room reminded me of my hostel days. Please make it look like a TTDC HOTEL TAMILNADU, MAMALLAPURAM

We planned a day out with my friends on a week end. I heard about this stay through one of my friend. So we booked via mmt. It is such a good place at beach. Early morning sun rise view from bed. Wave’s sound for night sleep. Property surrounded with trees gives natural cool air and shade from sun will call for a pleasant wake with loved once. Swimming pool maintained good and calls swimmers to enjoy till 12 feet. Food is so good. Perfect place to spend good time with nature by forgetting all worries. The problem is visiting once make you visit again and again.

Visited the resort in the month of August. We were welcomed by the chirping of birds. There are so many trees in the resorts . All the rooms are sea facing and awesomely constructed. It is so near to the beach with private beach access. The rooms were also good and spacious. There is a play area for children as well The breakfast and dinner was complementary, but only with veg options. The restaurant is also not upto the mark. Compared to other facilities in the resort the restaurant can be better. Will return to stay again for sure👍🏼

Had a good stay near the beach and weather also very nice. Highly recommended for family especially children. Only thing needs improvement is food which is very ordinary.

Wonderful pvt beach. Fresh wholesome typically south indian food. Clean rooms and clean bathroom. Nice parking space. Entry to the TTDC HOTEL TAMILNADU, MAMALLAPURAM nicely decorated. Good. Value for money for the deluxe room

Small kits and family numbers all are enjoying best resorts but food only veg morning and night otherwise super beach resorts no providing tea snacks pay money only tea cost rs 30 lunch veg cost 200 morning and night complimentary free of cost best to go lunch outside

Rooms in the resort are clean. Access to beach is also good. Lot of greenery around which makes stay pleasant. Restaurant in the resort isn't clean enough and food quality is slight concern. Staff is just satisfactory.

The stay was we comfortable and room were very clean. Good food, kids enjoyed a lot.

It was a nice experience overall because of its location. But the property needs to be taken care of professionally because nobody is there to help you out with your luggage. Ac is not working properly no body will response properly. Restaurant is good but in complimentary dinner and breakfast, only veg option is available. If you want to order non veg you have to order separately and pay for it.

The TTDC HOTEL TAMILNADU, MAMALLAPURAM is the best place to relax and chill on the beach. The ambience and the facilities were good. The staffs were polite and helpful.

Good atmosphere room is good and clean. House keeping is good. Food dinner average only. Morning breakfast is good . Swimming pool nice.

A beautiful resort on the beach. The views from room are amazing with a comfortable stay and facilities on the property. Food was good, more effort should be put on general cleanliness of the restaurant and dining area

Room service is good, they are serving everything we need by the straight approach but response by the phone in the room is not good, people are not picking the call and also in our stayed room, wifi were not connected.

Rooms have to be renovated and room service have to be improved
