Villa Montecarlo

The Villa Montecarlo is located at the heart of white town and is about 800 m from the promenade beach. The Villa Montecarlo can arrange for your breakfast but cannot provide food as they lack a kitchen. Standard non-smoking and convenient rooms. They have made up very well for their inability to provide food with some extremely friendly and helpful staff. The manager in particular (Mr. Rajesh) was too good with his ability to provide me with all the details. Upon requesting, the Villa Montecarlo staff even booked a scooty for me at a very nominal rate. It's a good place to put up at.

Main reason for booking this place is closeness to Rock beach- just 3 minutes walk. Can go anytime of the day to the beach- sunrise, sunset etc. Staff cooperative and courteous- Rajesh and Vishnu. We ( family) booked 2 rooms for 3 nights at 11 k + change, which is fine for the average facilities. No daily house keeping ( ok as we were out most of the day). Wish there was breakfast facility ( they do not have kitchen). But stay was pleasant, they gave us water bottles and staff is friendly. Will stay there again.

It’s a small 4 rooms on the ground floor and 5 on the first floor. It’s in the heart of white town and the beach, park and ashram are in 5-10 minutes walk. The receptionist is a young boy who enjoys his fiefdom by arranging cabs at very high rates. Since we are new to the place, have to accept his offer. Found this the worst part of the stay. They have paper glass on request to be provided in room. Electric kettle does not have a plug point on the table. I had to use the chair as table to be close to plug point

I stayed with my parents (senior citizens) for three nights. We were offered a very spacious room that can accommodate 3 people (biggest room amongst the options - a thoughtful gesture). Location is a big advantage - you can walk to the rock beach in 7 minutes, with easy access to all kinds of cafes, food joints and bars. The staff - Vishnu Kumar, Gautham and Nitish - were courteous and helpful. Excellent value for money. Possible things to improve - wifi connection is slow and everyday cleaning of restrooms.

First thing on arrival was checking of temperature and hand santization. Lobby, reception, rooms everything was neat and clean. Hotel Villa Monte Carlo was perfect for us. We stayed for 5 nights, went to Chennai and decided to stay again there for another 5 nights. It's a nice short walk to the beach and although this place had no restaurant of their own, there was a rooftop cafe next door which was convenient. The staff made us feel right at home. There was a fridge in the room and a hot water pot. We'll stay there again.

Best location to stay in Pondicherry. Majority of renowned cafes and Rock beach is at a walking distance. I booked a deluxe room as mentioned in the listing but the room was much smaller as compared to what is shown in the images. There was no cupboard to store luggage unlike what is shown in images. We were given room 103 which is a standard room and not deluxe.

We had an awesome experience in this Villa Montecarlo. Staffs are truly cordial and they go extra mile to serve better. This Villa Montecarlo is in a prime location and very close to the Sea Beach. We will definitely refer our friends and relatives to opt for this Villa Montecarlo if they ever visit Pondicherry. Keep it up!

Location of the Villa Montecarlo is good. Beach is at a walking distance of 7 mins, market at 15 mins. They do not have their own restaurant so you need to find out places on your own.

Good stay with a home stay kind of feeling. Newly made property with 3 types of rooms standard, deluxe and a suite room. The property is apt for anyone who is looking for a good, simple and comfortable stay near the Beach. Yet to get fully functional.

Location was good, near to rock beach, staff are very polite and helpful, breakfast need to improve little more better otherwise allover excellent.

The room is neat, tidy and spacious. Bathroom and toilet also maintained neat, staff were very helpful, totally loved the experience, it was a feel like home stay, will surely stay again.

It is near to beach and many places to take photos near this Villa Montecarlo. There are many cafés near this.

The Villa Montecarlo is decent. The location is very good. They could though do with better ventilation in their rooms and more staff.

Starting from registration till the time we checked out the experience was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very responsive and quick to respond to any requests we placed. They made our trip a very memorable one and we will surely be looking to come back soon.

The stay location is perfect, very close rock beach and can enjoy a pleasant even walk in the French colony, close to the best cafes The room was pretty tiny, but the staff members were extremely polite and helpful.

Location is very good in white Town. Good restaurant are nearby of Villa Montecarlo. Cleanliness is not to the standard. Bed sheets and pillow covers were not washed. Staff is very good and cooperative. Good Villa Montecarlo for family for 2 days.
